Project Overview
About “My Second Chance”
“My Second Chance” is based on the TV show, Miraculous Ladybug. This is an animated series about two superheroes. They do not know each other’s real identity, but they do know each other in real life. This story revolves around one of the main characters striving to become a good person and make amends with the other main character. When their relationship is finally strong enough, they believe they’ll finally stand a chance against the villain. Little do they know that they know the villain in real life as well. Because this project is for children’s entertainment, it is rated PG.
This project is made using a character creator/animation app, so it is not made frame by frame. The animation for this project will be made using green screens and key-frames for the characters.
This is a series, so the project is a long-term commitment. The series has been set to have four episodes in total. The script will be sent through discord, and you will have 1-2 weeks to send back the voiced lines through discord.

Jodie prides herself on being the toughest girl in school. Most of the school is scared of her, and if they're not scared, they are just as tough as she. She rarely lets her guard her, the only exceptions being if she's with her sister or a close friend. Her father passed and her mother is not around much, so she usually keeps to herself.
Cat Queen, her superhero persona, is different. She is shy and modest. She is not used to the attention she gets from the world, which usually makes her uncomfortable. She is quite kind and wholesome, but she is also strong and resourceful.
Jodie (flustered and wholesome): I'm a big fan of him. He’s really smart and he always comes up with the best plans. Sure, he may have a temper, but when he’s happy, it’s really cute!
Jodie (snarky): And how many times have you been rejected by random men you’ve found online? Let me tell ya, I know it's a large amount.
Jodie (humorously): What is it? If it’s illegal, against school rules, or downright nasty…I’ll consider.
Cameron is a shy and timid boy, who runs the art club. He acts more openly towards his friends and family. He is usually the main target for bullying, but he doesn't care much.
Venom, his alter ego, is the opposite. He is arrogant and aggressive, always alert. He can be temperamental, but when he is cooled down, he is quite smart and clever.
Cameron (sweetly): Welcome to the art club! We're always open to new members! My name is Cameron, and I dabble in painting.
Cameron (pleadingly): Please, can you leave me alone for one day? One day. Today is important to me.
Cameron (fiercely): Let's take this jerk down. Together.
Chelsea is your average "Little Miss Perfect." She is sweet and kind, along with being very intelligent. She is the head cheerleader and the vice president of the student council.
As Rena Rogue, she transforms into a whole different person. She is the main villain of the story. She is using her stolen power for bad, and not good. She is ambitious and strong, never backing down.
Chelsea (kindly): Cheerleading trials are now open! I hope you guys have so much fun! And remember, if you have any questions, you can always text me.
Chelsea (darkly): She will pay. I'll make sure I get what I want. No matter what the cost.
Chelsea (sadly): Please cheer up! You know I can't leave peacefully knowing that you're sad.
Mel is a kind girl, but she can be rough around the edges. She prefers tough love over kind comforting. If anyone is ever going to give you the cold, hard truth, Mel will be the one.
Mel: Look, I'm just looking out for you, okay? I would never want you to get hurt. Please remember that.
Mel (humorously): What? Afraid you'll lose another round of cards to me? Typical.
Mel (roughly): Leave him alone! How about you do the WHOLE school a favor, and turn around, leave, and never return.
Damien is your classic comic relief character. He is kind, forgiving, and naive. He might be clueless sometimes, but no one can resist his charming smile.
Damien: Hey, I want to be involved in this argument!... What exactly are we arguing about?
Damien (sadly): Her father died in a car crash, guys. How could you say-You know what? I'm heading home.
Damien (kindly): I believe in new beginnings. Even for you.
