Project Overview

WHAT IS THIS PROJECT?
this project will follow a group of voice actors dubbing a series of comics about the manga/anime "MY HERO ACADEMIA"

HOW LONG DO WE HAVE TO TURN IN LINES?
you all will have one week to turn in lines

HOW LONG IS THIS PROJECT?
it depends how how long it takes to dub each comic. We might add in a few other comics as well! but overall possibly around 2-3 months


ABOUT MY HERO ACADEMIA

The story follows Izuku Midoriya, a boy born without superpowers in a world where they are the norm, but who still dreams of becoming a superhero himself, and is scouted by the world's greatest hero who shares his powers with Izuku after recognizing his value and enrolls him in a high school for heroes in training.


ABOUT THE COMICS

(first comic)the story starts of with mina asking uraraka about what her favorite flower is. deku overheard her answer and decides to surprise her with such flowers. 

(second comic) this story follows uraraka and midoriya asking eachother to call themselves by their first names

//RULES//


1.- Have a Discord account. If you don't have one, you can easily make one here. This is simply so I can keep track of the cast and crew in a fairly easy manner. 

2. Clear Mic that is clear with barely to no background


3. Have fun! Be fair and kind to others, do not allow disrespect.


4.Be prepared to stick with this project to the end.  I would rather not recast because you've gone missing.

    Thank you to everyone who auditioned! everyone who did has done an amazing job and it took awhile for me to choose who got each role! i do apologize though for choosing the roles almost a week after the deadline and this was caused due to the fact that i haven't had the time to work on the project. midoriya izuku, also known as Deku, is the main protagonist of My Hero Academia,Though originally born without a Quirk, he manages to catch the attention of the legendary hero All Might and has since become his close pupil and a student at U.A high school making him the ninth user of the all for one Quirk.


izuku is a very timid, helpful and polite boy, frequently overreacting to abnormal situations with exaggerated expressions. Due to being bullied since childhood for being born without a Quirk, he is initially portrayed as insecure, being more reserved and not self-expressive

Ochaco is a bubbly, lively person who thinks about everything positively, while still being objective enough to seeing flaws and virtues of something or someone, noticing their differences but respect them as she thinks all things/beings complement each other. She is very harmonic and empathetic in general, friendly to those she meets, and will also try to help or defend anyone that previously came to her aid, especially to her dear ones. However, Ochaco can be incredibly blunt without being aware of it at times.


her reactions tend to be exaggerated and humorous: Ochaco often becomes amused at certain personality traits and quirks others may exhibit, sometimes to the point of bursting into laughter which she tries to suppress to some extent

Mina is cheerful and most of the time seen with a smile on her face. She is easily excited, but also very emotional and easily brought to tears in various situations, out of relief, out of sadness and out of frustration. However, she is still very easygoing, having no problem being completely naked in front of other people, however she still doesn't appreciate being peeped at by Minoru Mineta

Mina is also very sociable and eager to engage in social situations, and is shown to become very upset when she is denied an opportunity to be at a gathering or event she looks forward too.

  • say ochaco whats your favorite flower? my favorite flower would have to be hydrangeas!

Momo is a very intelligent, dedicated person who acts as a natural leader. She is generally very level-headed and calm even in very dangerous situations, but she isn't above falling into panic. Despite being serious, Momo can get roped into silly situations such as cheerleading, although she rarely expresses enthusiasm in doing so. Also, when she shows her excitement (usually towards passing time with others), Momo becomes quite upbeat and adorably "bouncy", adding a bit of comedy to her character. Momo also tends to accidentally reveal how rich she is, yet most people can understand she doesn't do it out of malice.

  • roses are the most enjoyable in my opinion (sincere)

Toru is a bubbly, cheery, and easygoing girl that does most things with an upbeat attitude, even if manipulated to do so. She is very socially eager, and appears to like shopping. Her room suggests that she likes plushies and other cute things.

tsuyu is a straightforward and quite laid-back girl who always says what's on her mind and what she thinks about others. She prefers to be called by her given name, but has stated she only wants people she views as friends to refer to her as such. 


Tsuyu is also noticeably calm and collected, being able to stay level headed in stressful situations. Recovery Girl describes her as the "perfect pillar of emotional support".Her usual expression consists of a vacant stare, which makes reading her thoughts and emotions difficult for those around her.
