Milky Way and the Galaxy Girls was a show concept by the creator of MLP:FiM about 11 girls based on planets in the solar system. It was unfortunately forgotten, however…
MWGG: Starline is an animated series hoping to bring back Faust’s vision to its true glory! (With some minor artistic adjustments…) It follows Milky Way, her little sister Andromeda and the rest of the Solar Sisterhood go about comedic slice-of-astronomic-life... stuff.

Milky Way is what every girl wants to be and doesn’t realize she already is. Smart, confident, adventurous and fun, Milky’s passion is new experiences! She travels the universe looking for far out friends and astronomic adventures. When she’s back in our solar system, her entourage the Galaxy Girls, are waiting eagerly to hear about her spectacular space odysseys. When she’s not far off in some distant galaxy, Milky’s need for fun and risky business may lead her and her friends into trouble. But Milky’s quick wits and courage always get them back out! Not even the force of gravity can keep this cosmic girl down!

A true space cadet, MARS is from another planet!! Green skin and hair, a pair of antennae and quite an….uh……INTERESTING….fashion sense. This Martian sees the universe in a different light than every one else, and expresses her unusual, eclectic thoughts through her art. Painting, sculpture, collage, you name it!! And you’ve never seen anything like it before, and certainly never will again! Mars may be be the weirdest girl in the galaxy, but she is by far the most creative!

Venus is an elegant ballet dancer who likes to take this nice and balanced. But she's not just a pretty face. She. Is. Strong. And while she seems calm and collected, she can lose her temper quite fast, but don't worry, she never lashes out at her own friends!

If you were to seek out Jupiter through a telescope, you would find dozens of tiny objects in her orbit. These are Jupiter’s pets!! Each and every one rescued by our peace loving, big hearted, hippie-girl, Jupiter! The most visible (and her favorites) would be Io the Pup, Callisto the Cat, Europa the Bunny, and Ganymede the Ferret, who jet pack behind her where ever she goes. Besides rescuing animals, Jupiter is very concerned about the environment, often organizing events to help get rid of junk left behind by astronauts. She is also very spiritual, always striving to become one with the universe. Lastly, she's very calm, almost never getting overly angry or anything.

The farthest planet is the solar system, Pluto is dark, cold and hard! And that’s exactly what you could say about her music, too. Yes, when she’s not flashing you a dirty look or scaring off your little brother, Pluto is making your ears bleed with her hard-core death metal rock!!! But don’t let her stone cold attitude fool you. Beneath her rock hard exterior lies a heart of a gold, and a true blue friend who’s always ready to stick up for her gal pals---with brute force!!

Uranus is very particular about the way you pronounce her name. She would like you to know that the proper, scientific pronunciation of her name is: 'UR-EN-US'. No other pronunciation is acceptable. That said, Uranus is a bit of a perfectionist. Concerned only with her studies, she spends her time with her nose in a book, whether calculus, quantum physics, or a good romance novel. She does, however, spend some time hounding her more tranquil twin, Neptune, to be a little more responsible. Uranus firmly believes the more you learn when you are young, the greater good you can do when you are older. And she intends to do great things!

The Sun is a Star!!! And, boy, does she know it! With her radiating afro, hot pants and the word “HOT” plastered across her top, this solar super star is sure to let every one know she IS the HOTtest act to hit this side of the galaxy!! A true Diva, she thinks the universe revolves around her. And with good reason: she has the most heavenly voice in all the heavens, and she’ll be the first to remind you that she shines brighter than any other celestial body in the sky!

There is no place in the universe Neptune would rather be than in the water! Riding waves and catching rays, she is the galaxy’s resident beach babe---or beach bum, you might also say. Although Neptune is quite active, she’s got the most laid back attitude this side of the solar system---quite the opposite of her studious twin, Uranus. Neptune’s philosophy is to “go with the flow,” a mantra that keeps her stable both in life… and in the water!

The Moon’s emotions change as surely as the tides. They ebb and flow, wax and wane. Though her mood swings can be unpredictable, this girl’s emotional lunar cycle is the foundation of the most exquisite poetry you could imagine! From her melancholy moments emerge beautiful bittersweet ballads, splendid sorrowful sonnets, lovely lamentable lyrics, awesome ominous odes, ravishing regretful rhapsodies and heavyhearted haikus. Her undeniable talent almost makes her moodiness bearable…almost!

Look up into the night sky and you might recognize Mercury’s silver light shooting through the sky faster than any other object. Her winged sneaker-skates propel her through the universe at the speed of light! And she would have it no other way. Her friends complain sometimes that they do not see enough of her as she is always, always working out and exercising hard to keep her status as reigning champion of the galaxy!

Saturn is a savvy fun-loving girl who runs her own dance-club on her home-planet and is a DJ at said dance-club in her free-time. She really likes to build and make things, she despises buying things she can make herself (which is a lot). She's very charismatic but can be sassy when she wants.
