Morn' of Prince Lindworm
Project Overview
Morn of Prince Lindworm is a roughly ten minute, 2D animated, short fantasy thesis film made with digital, hand drawn animation and backgrounds.
Plot:
The film centers on the Lindworm, a large hulking dragon, who has attacked the half-finished royal palace of the kingdom of Prisiti, and has been holding the royal court of Prisiti hostage for a few weeks.
For several days, Snow - a mysterious young, masked, blade-wielding, fae-halfling - has been trying to kill the Lindworm alongside the King’s knights. At one point Snow is cornered by the Lindworm. She shows she isn’t a threat and just as it looks like the Lindworm is about to kill her, the Lindworm—surprisingly—shows mercy, and moves on. This causes Snow to rethink her actions.
One night, Snow approaches the Lindworm in his makeshift den. The Lindworm stirs awake, expecting an attack, but to the Lindworm’s surprise, Snow lowers her blade, and apologizes for trying to kill him for the past few days—a task given to her by the King.
Snow explains to the Lindworm that, at the time, she didn’t know who he was: the eldest son of the King, cursed at birth to come into the world as a Lindworm.
Now that Snow knows who the Lindworm really is, she wants to help him and peacefully bring an end to his carnage.
Themes:
Morn of Prince Lindworm explores themes of mercy, grace, empathetic curiosity and how they are able to bring the best out of the most broken people. This project also explores how hasty condemnation and persecution can cause more harm than good.
Development:
Morn of Prince Lindworm is in the early stages of pre-production and is set to be completed in April 2027.

Let’s see if I can’t lift your burden.
You know, this past week - chasing you, fighting you - gave me cause for curiosity. How is it every soldier you encounter, simply walks away and you are the first to flee? Why is it that you haven’t lain a claw on or in anyone?
I am so sorry. Truly. I had no idea the pain you were in. But this can’t continue. So please...let me. Help you.
The Lindworm is a hulking, draconic creature that mainly speaks via. grunt, growls, and screeching - Simillar to Huggy-Wuggy from the Poppy-Playtime franchise.
This role requires a deeper male voice.
Also, forgive the somewhat unorthodox audition lines. I realize they may be difficult to work with but this is all I got for a character who is largley non-verbal.

The main antagonist of the film. General Jor Hughes is a (unqualified) military man in his 40s, with considerable anger-management problems as well as drinking problems. He isn't fond of criticism.

I'm looking for a musician that can create background music for intense, fast-paced battle scenes as well as background music that is healing, and uplifting.
As Musician/Composer, you are free to use whatever software you like (so long as audio quality remains high).
Here are some music references that I personally imagine with this film (subject to change):

I'm looking for a sound engineer that can bring this project to life with compelling sound effects.
As a sfx engineer, I would require you to create sound such as large footsteps on tile/concrete, light/magic sounds, wood/stone cracking, and I would also require you to edit lines from voice actors to make them sound more creature-like. Hope this helps!
