"The Beautiful, Shattered Mind of Moon Knight" (Comic Excerpt Sections)
Project Overview
"The Beautiful, Shattered Mind of Moon Knight" is an upcoming YouTube video essay exploring the deep psychology behind one of Marvel's most complex heroes. This is my very first video, and to make it stand out, the analysis will feature cinematic, dramatic voice-dubbed comic panels woven directly into the script.
I'm are looking for passionate voice actors to help bring these intense, character-driven moments to life for this debut project. Since the video dives deep into mental health, identity, and trauma, we need performances that deliver raw emotion, distinct range, and strong character presence.
I'm looking for ONE voice actor with exceptional vocal versatility to play all three of Moon Knight's core alters. Because they share one physical body but have entirely distinct personalities, the actor must be able to seamlessly switch between three completely different accents, tones, and vocal energies.
The Three Personalities to Perform:
Marc Spector: Deep, exhausted, authoritative, gravelly. A war-torn former mercenary carrying immense guilt. Accent: Standard American (Grit/Military tone).
Steven Grant: Refined, articulate, smooth, slightly snobby. High society and logic. Accent: Mid-Atlantic or Clean British (RP).
Jake Lockley: Gritty, rough-around-the-edges, street-smart, cynical. A late-night New York cabbie. Accent: Heavy Brooklyn / New York.

STEVEN GRANT: "Marc, you’re letting your mercenary instincts blind you. We need subtlety here. The Grant fortune can buy the information we need without you breaking a single jaw."
JAKE LOCKLEY: "Oh, shut your elegant trap, Stevie. Your money don't talk to the guys on the docks. I’m the one who sits in the driver’s seat. I’m the one who actually hears the whispers."
MARC SPECTOR: "Both of you, shut up. You exist because I couldn't handle the blood on my hands. But tonight? Tonight there's going to be blood. And neither of you has the stomach for it."
Booming, hollow, theatrical, deeply menacing, and mocking. Needs great breath control and presence. (Note: Audio effects/reverb will be added in post, but the raw performance needs immense weight.
You can make his accent Non-Descript as long as it sounds "ancient", if you know what I mean.

"You are nothing but a broken vessel, Marc. A cup shattered into a thousand tiny pieces on my temple floor. I am the glue. I am the hand that holds you together. Without me, you are just a corpse rotting in the sand."
Starts out confident and professional, but quickly unravels into genuine, breathless panic and terror as he realizes Moon Knight is completely unhinged.
His accent should be Standard American / New York gritty. You can base the voice on any of Task Masters official VAs or make up your own.

• (Panicked, voice cracking slightly) "Stay back! I’ve copied your style, Spector! I know your moves! I know exactly how much pain your body can take before it shuts down!"
A psychiatrist treating Marc Spector. Calm, professional, and firm, with measured delivery that balances reassurance and stern authority.

“You are Marc Spector. You are an orphan. You have D.I.D., Dissociative Identity Disorder.”
“And if you aren’t willing to do the work necessary to get better, we are going to have to increase your medication again…move you back to the secure ward. Is that what you want?”
“I do want to help you, Marc. I’ve always been your friend.”
