Project Overview

Hello, everyone! This is a casting call for a dub of my webcomic, Monster Kingdom. I am currently looking for voice actors. I have 6 roles that need filled, 3 males and 3 females.

Monster Kingdom is a slice-of-life/action-style webcomic that follows the daily lives of two monsters, Abumi and Majin, as well as the friends (and adversaries) they meet along the way.

Payment:

Pay rate is $4 per line.

Payment will be made through PayPal. I will pay you before you begin any recording.

    Hey, everyone, first I wanted to give a huge thank you to all of you who auditioned. All of your auditions were super awesome, so it was very difficult to pick just one person for each role!

    I really appreciate all of you who lent me your time to audition for this project, if I had enough roles for everyone I would gladly work with all of you! I will be making more comic dubs in the near future, so there's still a chance I can work with more of you when that time comes.

Stoic most of the time, but almost aggressive toward strangers. He's courageous and smart but a loner. He cares a lot for the few friends he has but rarely shows it since he follows the rule of "actions speak louder than words" to a T.

  • (A bit sarcastic at first) That was a very good speech, it was, really. In other circumstances, I'd even say you're on the correct side of this conflict. Too bad you hurt my friend, though. I'm beating you up, right or wrong be damned.

  • (Strict teacher type) Talking during a fight is useless. Let your punches do the talking instead. Here, let me say "hello" to you!

  • This is gonna be a terrible joke, isn't it? *Sigh* I was right.

King Ragnar exudes a stoic firmness befitting a ruler. His demeanor is often calm and collected, rarely revealing his emotions outwardly. However, beneath this strong exterior lies a heart that is deeply compassionate. He is fiercely protective of his realm and its inhabitants.

  • (Stern with authority) You dare trespass on my territory? I hear whispers of your deeds. Kidnapping my subjects, spilling their blood as if they were nothing more than cattle!

April is inherently a shy timid person. Despite this she possesses a warm and friendly nature. She has a gentle voice and an infectious smile that can light up a room. April is the type to listen more than speak, always offering a supportive presence rather than dominating the conversation.

Frank is known for his grumpy demeanor, which many attribute to his age and years of hard work. He often comes off as cranky and blunt, frequently grumbling about the youth of today. Despite this, there’s a softer side to Frank that he tries to hide.

  • (grumbling) Don’t get too excited! Just because I’m feeling generous today doesn’t mean you can raid my entire stock.
