Hi there. We're looking for 2 female voices for our upcoming interactive visual novel; MMM: Murder Most Misfortunate.
MMM is a visual novel that follows the story of a woman trapped in a mansion estate on a night wrought with danger. A lord is murdered, and you are blamed for it. You must determine whodunit to save your own skin, before itis too late.
The game will be fully voiced, and of course be centered around a murder mystery. Players will be able to examine rooms in the mansion and talk to the other characters during the course of their investigation. At the end, the player will have to accuse someone and hopefully make that accusation stick, else they'll end up in prison. This game is heavily inspired by the Phoenix Wright series.
The game will be released February 2017 on Steam and Itch.io. We hope to have the text in English, French, Spanish and Japanese (although the voice acting will only be in English).
Actors are encouraged to take liberty with their interpretations of the characters they audition for. More than anythingelse, I am looking for actors that are able and willing to OVERACT! All auditions are accepted, relatively high qualitymicrophones required. I will respond to every email indicating if your audition was received, and again once ourdecisions have been made.
We have a strict deadline for all voice acting to be finished by: January 1st. Please do not apply if you will not be able to meet this deadline.

We've reviewed all of the auditions, and were extremely impressed. There's definitely a lot of talent around here, and we had some very difficult choices to make.

Our heroine or perhaps more aptly, anti*heroine and the story’s protagonist. The player plays“as” her, as she is swept up in the case by circumstance and framed for the murder. Well, framed for *this*murder, anyway. Having been married 9 times, she has a penchant for marrying dukes, barons and otherpeople of wealth and import, many of whom have met with oh-so-*unfortunate “hunting accidents” and otherill luck. Whoopsie. She is smug, collected, resourceful, and is known in social circles for her acid tongue.She has a mischievously sadistic streak and enjoys the minor misfortunes of others.

The exquisitely elegant Comtessa is a staple of the high society world and never one to miss a social event. She has a penchant for going through rich husbands, not unlike our heroine Miss Fortune in someways, and has just recently been widowed for the 4th time. One can count on her to be up to date on all the latest gossip and goings-on of the upper crust - some might go so far as to suggest that she is uncannily well-informed.
