Conquest is an MLP audio story taking place 100 years after the events of the show (predating season 8 among other things). The mane six have perished, the elements disappearing with them. With Equestria left defenseless, a team of villains comes together to not only take over Equestira, but the world.
Everything you need to know is in the video above, but mostly in the google doc linked. Please read all the rules carefully, otherwise, you're audition will be rejected. We will allow you to re-audition if you would like assuming this would be the case. We will need multiple artists so if you are accepted, we will private message you. The end date is July , Midnight MST (site won't let me make the deadline longer so I will keep updating it till I can set it to the correct date). No more auditions will be accepted after that time and results will be posted on YouTube within a day to a few as well as this page being updated accordingly. I also apologize for some of the pictures, the site is extremely finicky and would not fit the pictures no matter what I did. Full sizes with a fully view are in the doc. IMPORTANT NOTICE:
This project will contain a lot of mature content that is not suitable for the sensitive or young, please keep this in mind. There's nothing overtly sexual such as pornograpghic scenes or sex, more suggestions of sex, heavily suggestive flirting and so on, but nothing graphic. There will be graphic depictions of fighting with blood and lightish gore, sensitive themes, a lot of swearing, and there will be LGBT couples so if this goes against your beliefs or any of the other things listed are off-putting to you, do not audition. If you do, we expect you to be okay with all of this. You also must be 15 years or older to audition. If you are not 15 years or older and we find out, you will be kicked out immediately, your lines scrapped. Please, don't lie.
Rules and Important Notices
1. You must have decent mic quality. We don’t want to hear background noise or a low quality to your recording. We especially don’t want to hear peaking, popping, or audio being too quiet to hear. If you do not have a decent mic, but can clean it to sound decent enough or better that it is, let us know. Do not edit it for the audition, let us know or send a separate file with the cleaned audio. Splicing is fine.
2. Having a Discord is preferred, but we can work with you if you have Skype or have access to Hangouts, some easy way of contact is a must.
3. You must be active in the server and during the audition. By active we mean when we have an important meeting, we would like you to try to be there or respond when we ask if anyone’s on or have any questions. If you don't respond within a given time (or excessively) or miss due dates, you will lose the role and it will be given to your understudy. If you have a reason such as a death in the family, illness, or school/work, we can talk unless school/work will be that much of a problem. Please note us if anything comes up and try to give up an advanced notice if you must drop from the project all together. Commitment is important as we will most likely ask you to voice these characters for other projects.
4. Understudies do serve an important role even if they may not always be active. Regardless, if you are, you will be assigned to the background characters or one offs/on and off/quick cameos. You are also excepted to be active.
5. If you are unprofessional in your audition, you will not be accepted. Stick to what we give you and nothing more, improve and bloopers can be saved for the official production. No added swearing or lines that aren’t in the audition line, you can introduce yourself if you want.
6. Don’t just say the lines. Give emotion to them, live through them! You are trying out for a character and this will be a big project! If you think you can do better, let us know, we will give you time to improve! We will take a good actor who can act on their own over someone who needs help, but if we feel your version of the voice is better than someone else’s acting or portrayal, we may choose that so don’t let ability or experience hold you back.
7. Do not alter your auditions! We want to hear the raw audio and your voice as is. No altering pitches, no filters, not auto tuning, nothing that helps add inflections if that's a thing. If we find out you have done this, you will be dropped from the project if accepted or have your audition rejected. Splicing your best lines for your audition is acceptable.
8. You may have already noticed that some of the auditions have a link to what we would like them to sound like. You do not have to replicate the voices exactly, in fact, in most, we don’t want you to so read the descriptions carefully, that's what we want to hear. Most of these aren’t canon characters and they can be interpreted any way. However, they need to be close to the pitch, tone, and/or possibly accent of the linked voices. If you want to experiment, include it as a separate part of the audition, we may end up liking it more.
9. We would like you to make three takes of each line. We want to hear the different tones of your voice, inflections, etc.
I've noticed that, for some reason, the descriptions of the singing roles in the editor keep disappearing. I don't know if this effects the casting call page, but if any descriptions are missing, let me know and I'll fix it.

The same tough bug he’s always been. Has mellowed somewhat over the years and acts as Thorax's strength when he loses confidence while Thorax is what reminds him to be gentle when it comes to it. First Appears in Episode 3.

Most everyone has gotten settled or taken care of. We’re still helping the soldiers who were injured in the fight, the ones we managed to rescue.

She was a good changeling, one who had a lot of courage to take on this task no matter the cost.
Sky is the captain of the flight section of the cartazonon army. Skilled in combat and flying. She’s considered to be the boldest and bravest of her peers, known for taking life threatening risks without a second thought. Despite her sometimes hard persona, she’s more of a kind, caring figure especially to her closest colleagues and friends. Has a soft, motherly voice yet can turn bold, stern, and somewhat threatening on the dime. Usually has a confident, kind tone.
Important Note: Sky will be giving birth during the scene she's in so if you can’t scream your head off, don’t audition.

A scholar of magic, known for his ability to manipulate the elements of weather. Smart as he is skilled in magic, he has helped to develop spells that help with agriculture and flight. Despite his skills, he’s not brave, though not entirely a coward either. He hates fighting always leaving it to his beloved wife. Gale has a tone of intelligence without sounding stuck up or in your face. It’s a calm voice that can be energetic at times especially when you get him going on the topic of magic. There have been many… zealous supporters. With the conquest of Equestria, it sparked many who thought the dream was dead.
A pompous, no nonsense, jerk who is boastful and prideful. Considers himself of pure blood meaning his line is without a defect of any sort. Known for his combative skills, he is of high rank in the army. A brute when it comes to the heat of battle, few dare stand in his way. His voice is intimidating, commands attention, respect, demands you obey. First Appears in Episode 2. Potentially will come back.

She is a disgusting blight, that is what she is! If I had known your lineage was cursed, I would have never agreed to let our son near you let alone that thing!

The problem is she is defective! She cannot reproduce with our son and is a failure after years and years of careful selection!
Of great noble status, her family is known for its strong magic line. They help to produce magically imbue objects and spells used in the army. This is a fact she is proud of and happily explains to those who don’t know. She’s very hoity toity, probably nicer than most stuck up rich types as she genuinely wants a child to love despite her horrid nature. Often look down upon the weak believing only the strong should survive. Her voice is snooty, like any noble you’d expect, she sounds rich and important. No particular range in mind, could be medium or high, but probably not too low. First Appears in Episode 2. Potentially will come back.

Grandson to Prince Rutherford, he holds the bloodline of the strongest of yaks. Prideful of his kind, strong, bold, fearless, and ruthless to his enemies. Despite his rough exterior, he loves his home and all within, he especially cares for Princess Cadence and Flurry seeing them like family. First Appears in Episode 2.

Kind of a hardass, doesn’t put up with anyone’s shit. Empathetic but is very truthful. She gives out the hard truths no one wants to hear. Rather stubborn when it comes to things and can be hard to convince, but knows when to be smart and not to be dumb. Voice example would be similar to Avatar Kyoshi. An energetic yak who loves his friends and is the nephew to Yuven. Ever since he was little, he was taught the importance of caring for those you care for. Because of this he strived to become a warrior to protect his home and loved ones. He is friendly, loving, and a sweetheart filled with passion. Often seen yelling and/or exclaiming. His voice at first is younger in how it sounds, but does mature as the audio story progresses. It’s a bit rough like most yak voices are. Think of his voice like a male Yona. There are no specifics at this time. Age ranges between teen and young adult. First Appears in Episode 3.

A sometimes nervous bat pony from deep in the heart of the ice lands, her home lying within the ancient mountains alongside the tribe of the Old Ones. The eighth in a long line of defenders of her village, Frost has a special affinity with magic able to conjure ice and frost. The history of her title is of high importance to her as well as the culture and traditions of her home. Sometimes quiet, likes to be alone from time to time, not the bravest, but will be there when needed. Still has plenty of room to grow, yet is all around kind, warm, and tries to stay positive despite her nerves sometimes getting the best of her. Her voice is light, sweet, and a bit on the high side.
