Misam: Voiced Visual Novel

Misam: Voiced Visual Novel

Project Overview

Misam, also known as Misam And
The Sugar Plum Fairy, is a short indie LGBT+ visual novel that is currently
being developed by AC.

Misam Yumi is alone during the
end of the world. During a suicide attempt, she meets Victoria, a young fairy
in training. Yet as Misam learns more about her through conversation, Victoria
may know more then she lets on.

There is dark themes included
in this game, so please be wary!

It will be about fifteen to
thirty minutes long, not including possible bonus material. This project’s
timeframe is unknown, though since it is relatively short it is estimated that
it will be completed this summer and distributed through Itch.Io. Actor’s do
not need to complete their lines as soon as they get the role, but I do ask
that you give a means of contact (more conveniently, a Discord) if you have
one.

You will be credited in both the endings and the ‘credit’ section of the title menu. Please note that is a
non-profit project and will be freeware.

If you have any questions,
message me for my Discord and or Email! Thanks in advance!

Misam Yumi is the protagonist. Though she used to be carefree, Misam is now unsure about what to do with herself. Her voice range is medium-high. She speaks softly. Misam’s overall tone is quiet, but she speaks fast. She has more lines than Victoria.

  • [Softly] “I’m sorry. I haven’t, um..  I
haven’t met an actual person in so long.”

  • [Happily] “My name is Misam. It’s really, really nice to meet you.”

  • [Unsure] I don’t know what to do anymore, I guess.”

Victoria is the secondary protagonist and serves as the NPC. She contrasts Misam as playful and gentle. Her voice range is medium-low. She also speaks loudly, and her overall tone is happy. She speaks calmly, though - sort of slower than Misam.

  • [Worried] “Are you alright?”

  • [Happily] “Victoria. It’s nice to meet you too!”

  • [Neutral] “I like
to think that we’ll be okay, someday.”
