Mio (K-ON!) vs Mio (Nichijou) - Rap Battle
Project Overview
I am producing a rap battle between the characters Mio Naganohara from the comedy slice of life anime series Nichijou and Mio Akiyama from comedy slice of life anime series K-ON!.
I am looking for singers/voice actors to perform the lead roles of both of these characters, as well as someone to take upon three supporting roles as characters from each respective anime's series.
The length of this song is approximately 2:20, with each lead character having three verses and approximately 50 seconds of rapping time.
Those who are interested and willing to participate in this project should ideally:
Be already familiar, or willing to be, with the source material (both anime) franchises
Be able to communicate through Discord and be willing to interact, discuss and practice with fellow co-actors in order to play/work off and match each other's performances
Be proficient and skillful in rapping ability whilst maintaining their respective character role(s)
Be willing to really practice and re-record if needed in order to perfect their performance. I hope for the cast to get really involved with and be proud of the project as if it were their own!
Have a good, high quality microphone that works well for musical vocal mixing
This project will be in English but it will contain some Japanese words and phrases.
This project will be publicly published on the platforms of YouTube and Spotify.
Since I am currently a university student, I don't have a large budget, but please don't hesitate to discuss payment beyond the listed amount with me if you are casted!

Mio Naganohara is a main character in Nichijou. She's a (mostly) well-adjusted, cute, young studious high schooler girl (with some 'hidden' fujoshi tendencies). She's however, sometimes volatile and quick to anger. In this project, she'll be leaning on her more aggressive and annoyed aspects - many of her lines involve yelling and outright screaming in some parts.

Mio Akiyama is a main character in K-ON!. The bass player of Houkago Tea Time. The most mature member of the band, but also the most socially anxious and shy, and easy to frighten. Her voice is cool and clear and confident - but also is easily broken down into a scared muttering mess.

You will be portraying three characters who all provide supporting roles in this project - some with individual lines, and a number of adlibs. Yui Hirasawa is a cheery, ditzy, very cutesy high pitched silly girl. Ritsu Tainaka is a brash, tomboyish and playful girl. Yuuko Aioi similarly is very silly and ditzy girl. These roles will be relatively high energy and loud.
