Minecraft Misadventures [PAID]

Project Overview

Minecraft Misadventures is a Minecraft roleplay centered on the random adventures of Skyelre. Crazy cat parties, ender men spies, an evil killer bunny, the insanity never stops! With her many friends by her side, she's sure to have lots of fun in this new uncharted territory. If luck permits they may even uncover the mysteries of the land, who knows!


Genre: Comedy, Adventure, Mystery

Rating: Family Friendly (G/PG)

Length: 20 episodes, but if all goes well the series will likely expand to 50-100 episodes

Premiere Date:  Already premiered, series is set to continue with it's third episode sometime in August, hopefully August 11, 2018


Requirements:

-Good microphone

-Keep up with weekly deadlines- The amount the character appears will determine workload, so please keep that in mind when you audition

-Have discord for communication purposes

-Have Paypal for payment method, payment amounts are for 20 episodes (If I have more money after the first 20 eps, I may bump up the characters rate for the next batch of 20 episodes. The rates shown below are the lowest I will pay for the role throughout the series though.)

  • All roles are cast!

    Thank you everyone for your auditions! All roles have now been cast. One may be wondering, now what? Well, I'm hoping to write 20 more episodes to the series and introduce more characters in them. That means for those who were not selected for these characters will have another chance to be apart of the series when I do another casting call in a few months. I will keep you all informed on it's progress. Thank you again for your auditions and I hope you look forward to the first 20 episodes of the series. -Skyelre

  • Casting almost complete

    So all characters have been cast except for Storm Fury. I've decided to let people audition two more weeks for him in an attempt to find a voice closer to what I imagine for the character. As for the series, progress is going slow but steady. I have written a few more episode scripts and have also begun brainstorming for a Christmas Special for the end of the year. I have written up a release schedule for the series set for the rest of this year, so as long as my wrist pains don't hinder me too much, we should see the episodes come out on a weekly basis starting August 11th. I hope you all look to it as much as I do. Thank you everyone for your auditions and I hope to hear more for Storm Fury in the near future. -Skyelre

  • Deadline pushed back/Progress update

    So things have gotten a bit busy in real life recently, and my hands and wrists have begun to hurt from overuse so production on this series has slowed down. Because of this I've decided to push the deadline for auditions back to August 4th. Despite the setbacks, progress on the series is going well. I have 13 episodes written and 4 produced so far. I have also added a teaser video so more people can get a feel for the series. The series production may end up slowing down for a while if my hands keep hurting, but never fear! It shall be made none the less. =D I'm super excited for the series and hope you all are too!~ As for those wanting female roles, more roles will be added in the upcoming weeks which I will announce here. Role assigned to: Rexphter

Rykeren is the deuteragonist of the series. He often is exploring or working on redstone contraptions, but enjoys adventuring with Skyelre from time to time. Rykeren is a heavy thinker, and likes things to make sense. He tends to question how things work and likes to do extensive research to find the answers to life's most puzzling questions.

His voice is medium ranged, but still has a youthful feel to it. ( Think attractive anime guy type voice, like a main lead type) His voice should be smooth, as in no cracks or other high fluctuations as he usually remains relatively calm in the utmost extreme circumstances.

NOTE:  Skyelre's voice tends to go up and down, in volume and emotions, so to contrast it I'm looking for a milder more natural sound for Rykeren's vocal performance.  This means his emotions are rather reserved, and more subtle in his speech. Example: When mad, he doesn't ever full on yell, he typically mutters angrily to himself.

  • " Well this is a modded world after all, oddities like that are to be expected.”

  • (frustrated) “ That’s because… I was currently traveling. I didn’t want to just say hi and then run off..”
    (angry)“ Stupid dumb temperamental villagers! Gah! This is why I hate mods!!”

  • Please provide a few injured noises and attack noises, this can be trickier than one might think so I'd just like to know you can do this as it will be needed for this role

    If you can sing, please sing a segment of any song at the end of your audition
    (Singing isn't required for this role, but if I ever want to do a musical number on the series I'd like this available to me)

Dr. Skeleton is a wither skeleton with the dream of becoming a doctor. He is sophisticated and kind to everyone he meets.

His voice should be deep and very intelligent sounding as he speaks, though not in a demeaning way

Appearance: Semi-Regular

NOTE I'm looking for someone with an accent for this role! Any accent will do, just make sure it's not so heavy it's hard to understand.

  • “ May I please take up residency at your fine village here? I promise I won’t touch any of your villagers until I know with full certainty I have overcome my withering effect on others.”

  • (Earnestly) “ Well.. I'm just trying to show the utmost respect to those around me, but I'm glad you find enjoyment in it.”

  • “ Heavens no! I’ve been going around trying to heal them.”

Simon is a killer bunny who is malicious and evil. All he wants is someone to keep him as a pet and love him, but his destructive and sinister behavior prevent him from finding someone.

His voice is low, deep, rich and cunning sounding. Think intelligent villain type.

  • “ Oh my dear poor Skyelre.. All I ever wanted was to be loved. But what did you do when I tried to show you my love by sacrificing those pesky villagers to you? YOU RAN ME OUT! Now I will do the same to you! I’ll send as many bunnies as it takes to drive you and all your precious villagers out of this land!”

  • “ Hahaha! Oh, isn’t drama just sooo… Delicious. Are you sure you don’t want my help?”

  • (mildly flustered) “ So you escaped… Your so annoying compared to that other Minecrafter. I’m getting out of here, your not even worth it anymore.”

Koko is just a normal cute little kitty that Skyelre owns... Or so she appears. She is highly intelligent and often mocks Minecrafters for being silly and dumb. She has a good heart though, and strives to protect her owner despite finding her a bit airheaded at times.

She has a mature voice, often sounding like she borderlines on belittling those she talks to. She is rather kind on the inside though.

  • “ Yes, well, that is just the way of our kind, isn’t it? So tell me, how is your Keeper these days?”

  • “ Ha, silly Minecrafter. You think this is a modded world? You know so little about the reality of the situation your in….”

Storm Fury is an acquaintance of Kokos, but not much is known of him yet. He seems to like Koko alot, and is aware of her secret dealings when she is away from her owner.

Storm Fury has a medium toned voice. He usually is pretty laid back, but can get flustered at times.

  • “A new owner, eh? That must be why I haven’t been seeing you much these days.”

  • “ I see. So you have a new lead then? That’s good to hear, the sooner we resolve that world the better.”

  • " Wait, where is Koko! Talk you little vermin or I'll eat you!"
