Milk: A Visual Novel Adventure Game
Project Overview
Milk is a visual novel adventure game that takes place in a facility that's on lock down during the duration of a snow storm. You play as Frederick: a recent amnesiac. Frederick goes around the facility talking with the other characters and doing favors for them. The other characters are Lenny, Ivan, Kyla, and Milk. As the story progresses The characters form bonds and Frederick starts to unravel the mystery of his lost memories. The gameplay is pretty straightforward and there is a lot of dialogue. I don't think this game is explicit enough to warrant marking it as NSFW, but I wouldn't say that it's for kids. This project is far in development, voice acting is one of the final hurdles before release. Feel free to have fun when recording auditions by including some extra lines that you may think fits the character.

He tends to get angry at some of the characters. He is very physically weak and malnourished. He is not very likeable, but he does favors for the other characters and for the most part is actually liked by them in spite of his personality.

Milk (a nickname) is a young woman that claims to be able to talk to milk, and that milk talks back to her. She is very friendly and quick to sadden when people are mean to her. Frederick doesn't believe that she can speak to milk and often gets angry at her about it, nevertheless Milk often makes attempts to be pals with Frederick.

Ivan (pronounced eye-ven) is a scientist that enjoys performing experiments. He is very loose with the definition of experiment and will consider many things that most wouldn't to be an experiment. Ivan thinks he's better than everyone else and that he's right about everything. He is quick to anger and doesn't tolerate rudeness. He also does have a sensitive side, but he rarely shows it.

We have a toaster, coffee maker, oven, sink, TWO refrigerators, a couple of cabinets of dry goods, and even a vending machine. All of which you are free to use whenever you'd like. This game console has them, but they're those ones with the stupid star shapes! Which are USELESS TRASH for me!!! So, find me some screws from something else.
Frederick! I see you've come to claim your surprise gift! Are you certain that you're prepared? We wouldn't want you overwhelmed. okay... But don't you dare try suing me for any damages that you may incur! We've made a verbal agreement that you must abide by! So, here's some popcorn. Well that reaction isn't very nice! Maybe you should just give it back!? What? You don't see how this is dangerous? Popcorn is a choking hazard, Frederick. Also, don't forget what it does to your teeth! It can take ages to clean the kernels from the thin gaps between your teeth! See? NOW we've reached a mutual understanding on the dangers of popcorn.
Lenny is friendly, a bit foolish, and also a little lazy. He often asks Frederick to do things for him and wants to take credit for the things that he has Frederick do. He tends to say things that are unintentionally comedic. He mopes when he doesn't get his way. One could say that he's a bit childish.

If we stop talking, and you then immediately re-engage in conversation with me, they should be done. No, that doesn't mean that they're done. You're asking if they'll be done by the time that you talk to me again? Even if that's in less than a second? YES!
Kyla (pronounced kuh-eye-la) is an obnoxious, angry young woman. She does not like Frederick and often insults him. She is easily flustered and quick to try to prove that she is smart, cool, and beautiful (often failing to do so). Kyla has a soft spot for the character Milk and is friendlier towards her than the other characters.

Um...what is this? This fabric softener smells like apples. I HATE apples! Now I'm gonna be stuck smelling like disgusting APPLES! Do you know what an apple IS!? It grows on TREES! I may as well be tree scented! Oh? That doesn't sound bad to you? Well, why don't you just go live in the forest, you dumb tree hugger!?
