Tomura Shigaraki, the primary antagonist of My Hero Academia, is a deeply twisted and tragic villain defined by his skeletal appearance, pale blue hair, and the disembodied hands gripping his face and body. Born Tenko Shimura, a horrific childhood tragedy involving the accidental awakening of his devastating "Decay" Quirk—which allows him to turn anything he touches with all five fingers into dust—left him orphaned and vulnerable to the manipulation of All For One. Driven by an intense, nihilistic hatred for a hero-centric society that failed to save him, Shigaraki matures from an immature, video-game-obsessed leader of the League of Villains into a terrifyingly competent and near-omnipotent force of pure destruction who seeks to completely level the current social order.

Izuku Midoriya, also known by his hero name Deku, is the central protagonist of the anime and manga series My Hero Academia. Born "Quirkless" in a superhuman society, his life changes drastically after a chance encounter with the legendary hero All Might, who passes down his transferable, stockpiling superpower, One For All. Characterized by his green curly hair, freckles, and unyielding determination, Izuku starts as a timid, deeply analytical boy who constantly takes notes on other heroes' abilities. Through immense physical training, strategic intelligence, and an innate, self-sacrificing drive to save others, he evolves into a powerful, confident leader at U.A. High School, ultimately striving to become the world's greatest hero.

Ochaco Uraraka is a bright, empathetic, and resilient protagonist from the anime and manga series My Hero Academia. Known by her hero name Uravity, she possesses the Quirk Zero Gravity, which allows her to make any object she touches float by removing the effects of gravity. Initially motivated to become a pro hero to earn money and give her hardworking parents a easier life, Ochaco's ambitions evolve into a deep desire to protect others and support heroes when they are hurting. Her bubbly and cheerful demeanor hides a fierce determination and an unyielding spirit in battle, making her a deeply compassionate friend and a formidable hero-in-training.

Twice, whose real name is Jin Bubaigawara, is a prominent villain in the anime and manga series My Hero Academia and a deeply tragic member of the League of Villains. His unique Quilt called Double allows him to create near-perfect clones of anyone, including himself, though these copies dissolve into mud after sustaining a certain amount of damage. Driven to a severe identity crisis and dissociative identity disorder after his own clones turned on and nearly killed one another, Twice struggles constantly to know if he is the original version or just a duplicate. Despite his fractured mind, manic personality, and contradictory speech patterns, he possesses an intense, fierce loyalty to his comrades in the League, viewing them as the only people who accepted his flaws and gave him a true sense of belonging.

Katsuki Bakugo is a central character and fierce rival to Izuku Midoriya in the anime and manga series My Hero Academia. Characterized by his explosive power, short-fused temper, and aggressive pride, he possesses the "Explosion" Quirk, which allows him to detonate the nitroglycerin-like sweat from his palms. Despite his initial bullying behavior and abrasive, anti-heroic demeanor, Bakugo houses a deeply ingrained desire to become the absolute number one hero, mirroring his childhood idol, All Might. Over time, his fierce competitiveness evolves into a profound sense of determination and tactical genius, shifting him from a reckless, arrogant hothead into a deeply loyal and dependable leader who learns to balance his overwhelming drive to win with the true meaning of saving others.

Tsuyu Asui is defined by her calm, straightforward, and deeply empathetic nature. As a natural emotional anchor for Class 1-A, she remains remarkably level-headed under pressure, analyzing dangerous situations with a sharp, logical mind. Her blunt honesty means she speaks her mind directly—famously insisting that anyone she considers a friend call her by her given name, "Tsu"—but this transparency comes from a place of genuine care and loyalty. Having raised her younger siblings due to her parents' busy work schedules, Tsuyu possesses a mature, responsible streak that makes her fiercely protective of her classmates and highly dependable in a crisis.
