Mekakucity actors
Project Overview
Mekakucity Actors is well under way under the Dubs and Flubs team! We have almost completed line collection for the entire series and are only missing one major character.
Shintaro Kisaragi, an 18-year-old computer geek, forms an uncanny bond with the members of Mekakushi Dan, comprising teenagers equipped with special powers, after foiling a robbery at a departmental store.

Please have a decent quality mic and quiet recording space.
Lines will be due every three weeks. Please be able to keep up with due dates or keep in contact with the D&F team to figure out an upload plan.

Azami is a being who is known in legends as the Medusa. the wife of Tsukihiko, the mother of Shion Kozakura and the grandmother of Marry Kozakura. Long ago, she created the Kagerou Daze, the never-ending world, which was originally made for only her and her family to live in.The voice actor for Azami will be responsible for 38 lines across 3 episodes. Ideally the voice actor will be able to sing as well and will participate in a large group cover of DAZE and record a cover of Shinigami Record as well. If you would not like to participate in the singing section of this character, please let us know in your audition. Auditions for a singer will open if the chosen VA would not like to participate in the singing portion of this role.

(Frustrated/Impatient) “How long has it been since he left? Three days. I’m stunned speechless! How slow can he be?! Anyway, I thought the villagers had always treated him like scum. What if he dawdled so long that something happened again…?”
(Calmer, but still anxious) “Y-you’re right. I suppose there’s nothing to do but wait. Still, even if that were the case, he’s been gone too long. That fool’s life span isn’t long enough that he can afford to waste time.”
(Breaking down) “I’m sorry. I’m sorry, I’m sorry… I’m sorry… I will love you forever. I will pray forever. That you and him will be happy forever.”

is a 1/2 Medusa. She was the mother of Marry and the daughter of Azami and Tsukihiko. She protected her daughter from humans, but at the cost of her own life.
The voice actor for Shion will be responsible for 17 lines across 2 episodes. Ideally the voice actor will be able to sing as well and will participate in a cover of Gunjou Rain. If you would not like to participate in the singing section of this character, please let us know in your audition. Auditions for a singer will open if the chosen VA would not like to participate in the singing portion of this role.

(Calm/Comforting) “Don’t worry. Since time began, the future has always been something created by children. That’s what your grandparents and I wanted most of all for you.” … “Now, now, don’t be a crybaby. You made lots of friends, didn’t you? Everyone outside will laugh at you.” … “Good girl. Oh, right. There’s one last thing that I want to ask you, Marry… Are you happy?”
