Mythborne is a MCTV production inspired by Aphmau, Ryguyrocky, Atmosphere and many others. While the story on the other hand is inspired by shows such as My Hero Academia, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and Death Note.
This series will have Yandere, Murder Mystery, Romance and Action elements.
The show will follow a group of friends as a mystery begins to unfold right underneath their noses, one of a murderer let loose on a small town. A killer who seemingly leaves no trace and suspiciously targets individuals from the High School which the main cast attend. Sadie, a bright student with a weak technique throws herself into the fray trying to uncover the identity as well as motive behind the killer's antics.
In this universe the main draw is each character's hybrid as well as their technique. For example, Sadie is a Kissa (Cat-hybrid) with the ability to teleport, and the school they attend specializes in helping these students with honing their techniques.
I am looking for voice talent who will become my main cast. In a similar sense to Aphmau, Sadie is my OC and played by me already but the other roles needs a voice!! Please do mind that I am kinda a noob when it comes to making a casting call so if you have any clarifying questions about lines or roles please feel free to dm me here or on discord @sadieist !!
Requirements:
-Minimal or no background noise
-Good mic quality needed
-Discord as needed as it's my preferred communication method, please put your Discord handle somewhere in your audition.
-16+ to join the team, please put your age or age range somewhere in your application (ex; 16-17 or 18+ if you don't want to state exactly)
Please provide a minimum of two takes for each line.
These roles are NOT paid.
While not required, It would be awesome if actors are able to run Minecraft Java as we can make content outside of the series together and have more fun! :D

Thank you so much for the numerous auditions, everyone has done a wonderful job and I am honored so many of you have shown interest in my project. With that said, new roles have been added so more people have chances at joining!
These new spots include:

The extra voices are particularly nice because i'll be hitting up multiple people who audition as I'd love to have an array of voices to play other side characters and such. Be sure to read the descripton for those as there is really useful information regarding those roles.
On a side note, I'd like to mention that Mythborne's first episode will be a pilot. Which means that there's a chance if it doesn't do all too well then it could not continue, HOWEVER as I get more and more excited about making it the less likely that seems as I may just continue it regardless of performance.

Sadie is similar to characters like Aphmau in the sense that this is the only character not originally created for the series and instead serves as the face to create a sense of familiarity on the channel for new viewers and old. Sadie has been given a weaker ability to put the protagonist in more interesting positions that need out of the box solutions. She mixes Italian phrases/words into her vocabulary, as it’s a trait she picked up from her older brother.
She has a mutual crush on Geri but denies his advances as she tries to act nonchalant and not fawn over him.
Kissa (Cat-hybrid)
Sadie is the one who does the most thinking in the group, with a non-powertype ability as opposed to the rest of her team she's forced into more uncomfortable situations where she needs to think of solutions. While she tries to act cool around others she's secretly a huge nerd who watches anime and reads/writes fanfiction. She reaches straightforward conclusions that sometimes may seem harsh. However she is driven by the want to not only solve the case but to keep the town safe as her family and friends reside there.

Fenrik is the main antagonist of the series, he is a two sided coin. Normally, he's a popular guy at school who wants nothing to do with the attention he recieves but he keeps his cool and plays the facade of a polite, calm individual. But once he falls in love with Hina, he becomes pretty much a yandere and more unhinged as the series progresses killing people who get in the way of their relationship. This will be unknown to the cast and he will hide amongst them as his ability allows him to kill without leaving a trace.
Will be in a relationship with Hina for part of the series.
Lupine (Wolf-hybrid)
He presents as a calm, soft-spoken and kind person to his friends, he phrases sentences in a more formal way due to his strict childhood. He sticks out from the rest of the team who are all more lively and open to activities while it's Fenrik's first time with a friendgroup. However, behind closed doors he speaks with more hate and resentment. He despises people who he views as weak.
I'm open to different interpretations of how he speaks, I imagine a calm, low, stoic tone that isn't super expressive until he needs to be. Feel free to take some liberties with how the lines are delivered, I wrote them how I would say them but I'm open to other takes.
Fenrik has a brother therefore if your take on the character has an accent it is less likely to be considered as it would need to be shared between the two.
(Polite) Excuse me, I'm sorry but would you all mind leaving me alone?
(Slightly embarrassed) Okay look. I want to know... how to get a girl to like me.

Hina (Hee-na) is the deuteragonist of the series, she is Sadie's best friend and the target of Fenrik’s murderous affection. Hina is confident in herself, she can get a bit carried away with her ego due to being seen as one of, if not the strongest student at their school but she's mostly reasonable. She and Sadie have a nice support dynamic looking out for one another and caring for eachother deeply.
She will be in a relationship with Fenrik for part of the series.
Hareon (Hare-hyrbrid)
She is confident, expressive and knows how to have fun. She's one of the more outgoing ones in the group, being the one to pitch ideas like going to the Beach or Mall.
Thus, Hina should sound confident and maybe a bit sarcastic or cocky at certain points. Her confidence may wane when someone she cares about is in a threatening situation but otherwise she softens up when around specific people, specifically Fenrik and/or Sadie.
She comes from Hawaii and visits home each summer, while not required Polynesian or more specifically Hawaiian voice talent should feel welcome to trying out this role!

Geri is the brother of Fenrik and finds his way into the friendgroup by proxy. He presents himself as confident even when he's sometimes completely wrong. He's not too smart but he makes up for it in technique, he has a friendly rivalry with Hina over which of the two are more skilled. He has a very straightforward and hotheaded personality when he needs to stick up for his friends. However, he has a tendency to overthink when it comes to problems he can't immediately solve.
He will have a mutual crush on Sadie and try to woe her throughout the series.
Lupine (Wolf-hybrid)
He's charismatic, confident and strong. When in love he's a romantic, he makes a lot of effort and push to get someone to go out or like him.
He should sound warm, dynamic, passionate and able to turn it up or get rowdy when needed. When more serious or talking to someone he loves he should sound endearing, but when he starts to overthink on his lonesome it all comes crumbling down and becomes more uneasy.
(Confident) I don't do things halfway, Sadie. If i'm in- I'm all in.
(Overconfident, optimistic) We can go to the park, maybe get some coffee or you can just come by my place. How's that sound?
(Uneasy) Can I tell them..? I-- It would just make everything worse, I mean- nothing's gone too wrong yet. I-- I can just keep to myself for now, right..?

Natori begins as a short-term antagonist for the team to face off against, however they eventually join the main cast. She is very weak-willed and thus easily manipulated she will try to get over this as the series progresses and learn a lot from her friends. She will become good friends with Sadie specifically and aid in her investigation of the murders.
Likes Areia but doesn't know if she likes her back.
Kissa (Cat-hybrid)
Her voice is reserved and soft-spoken but in contrast expressive when excited or disgusted for example. They often second guess themself when they talk, this can lead to uncertainty or her dismissing a thought all together. However, she becomes more confident in herself and her speech as the series progresses and around specific individuals.
While it's not required, I implore any japanese-americans to give this role a chance as it would help in bringing the character to life!

(Dismissive) I-- Well-.. It's nothing actually. It might have been a dumb idea.

Dion (Dee-on) is the heart of the team. To put it a certain way, if everyone else apart of the main cast is DPS and Support then Dion is the Tank. Not only physically with his Ice-conjuring technique but also emotionally always looking to brighten up the mood.
Arcanine (Dog-hybrid)
He is kind but also comical, he cares for his friends and acts as a light in the darkness for them. He makes quips in the face of confrontation but sometimes forgets when it is or isn't a good time to make certain jokes.
He is latin-american. While it's not a requirement I implore any potential latin-american voice talent to give this role a shot, it would help more accurately portray his nationality.
(Making a pun mid confrontation) Guys, guys... everyone just needs to 'chill' out.
(Sincere) It's nice. I'm sure everyone appreciates your kindness but-- it's not sustainable like this. You need to look after yourself too.
(Dismissive -> Cautious optimism) NO. Nonono. Don't listen to those guys... they're on the football team for a reason. I might be able to help you out though.

Areia is extremely kind, almost overbearingly so. She is not only rich but pretty as well. All she wants to do is help people in any way possible whether that's give money, be there to listen to their problems or even make sure they get home safe. However, this generosity doesn't come without its flaws as Areia almost entirely ignores her own wellbeing in favor of helping others. She will be close with Dion and formulate a crush on Natori as the latter becomes more confident in themself.
Likes Natori but doesn't know if she likes her back.
Vulpine (Fox-hybrid)
She should have a higher, bubbly voice, feel free to take creative liberties you could give her a different tone like something motherly or whatnot.
(Warm) Oh, don’t worry about me! I already ate earlier-.. Really! You can have it.
(Worried) Natori! Please don't go running off on your own-- let me come with you next time so I know you're safe!
(Tired) I-I'll be okay... I'm just tired is all, there's still more I can do here.
AGE: 33
Ms. Allison is the main casts homeroom teacher more or less, she teaches Technique guidance class that they start in their junior year. She is one of the top teacher's in the world for helping student's reach their fullest potential, this is thanks to her own Technique allowing her to sense one's maximum potential and get info on their abilities.
She works hard to make sure all of her students are getting neccesary help, she tries to be kind to all of her students. Some of them can get more annoying than others, thankfully she knows how to handle students that step out of line. When she doesn't need to teach super seriously she sometimes gossips with her students and likes to be in the know of all the drama. Almost every student likes Ms. Allison for being down to earth and overall being a great teacher having helped many students master their techniques.
She should sound warm and mostly positive with a medium pitch but in contrast can change her tone to sound fake or sarcastic when handling an annoying student and putting them on blast in front of the class.
Open to accents.
Don't really know what term exactly would be used to describe the first line so I put two adjacent words but feel free to take it any way that still encapsulates the vibe.
(Teasing, Condescending) If you think that was sooo funny, why don't you share your answer with the class. Please, go on.
(Optimistic) I can feel that there's more to your technique. I just hope you're ready to work for it!
(Calm, Focused instruction) You need absolute concentration... Think of it like a bubble, even the smallest disturbance can cause it to pop. You must mantain a clear mind.

I'll pitch it to you as we're making episodes and you'll be able to let me know if you want to do it. Multiple people will be able to have this role so we can have many options with different voices.
