Project Overview
Annihilation: Conquest is a Marvel Comics crossover event (2007–2008) that serves as the sequel to Annihilation. It follows the invasion of the Kree galaxy by the techno-organic Phalanx, led by Ultron, who seeks to assimilate all life. The story features cosmic heroes like Star-Lord, Quasar (Phyla-Vell), Adam Warlock, and the newly formed Guardians of the Galaxy as they unite to stop Ultron and the Phalanx from consuming the universe.

Hailing from the planet Baluur in the Negative Zone, Blastaar is a member of the Baluurian race. He ruled his people with an iron fist until they overthrew him due to his tyrannical reign. Exiled and drifting through the Negative Zone, he eventually made his way to Earth, where he became a recurring adversary of the Fantastic Four and other superheroes.

Korath-Thak, better known as Korath the Pursuer, is a Kree cyber-geneticist and warrior. He is most notable for being one of the Pursuers, a group of enhanced Kree hunters designed to track and capture targets across the galaxy. While not as politically influential as Ronan the Accuser, Korath is a powerful and loyal servant of the Kree Empire and often works under Ronan’s command.
