Magic and Science: Finding the Voices for OC
Project Overview
Hello everyone! This is a simple project that I was looking to do with a friend of mine. This will be paid at a rate of 5 dollars per cast role. We were wanting people to give voices to a few OCs of ours. As of right now, the only prepared lines will be the audition lines presented here. However, we did both have hopes to continue with audio dramas and the like in the future so we would like to stay in contact with those cast. After casting, the pay rate would be 1 dollar per line or 2 dollars per line for those with decent audio. Should an actor believe that this is not sufficient, there is some room for discussion.
There is a potential that a cast individual may later be asked to do NSFW lines. Please note, an individual’s willingness to do NSFW lines will have ZERO effect on casting potential. Please just bear this fact in mind and let me know after casting is done whether you are ok with NSFW or not. The characters Desdia and Avi will never have NSFW lines requested for them.
Also note, any NSFW line will have 2x the base per-line pay. This would be considered per line that contains a NSFW phrase or word. Payment is currently planned to be conducted through Paypal. If another method is required, please let me know ASAP BEFORE casting is completed.

Maggie is the eldest of her siblings and represents pride. She is supremely confident. Even when she’s struggling or having difficulties, she always does her best to seem in perfect control. Likes to give off the appearance of a compassionate mother figure. However in reality she is rather callous and objective. I had imagined a surprisingly high pitched voice for her appearance but please do feel free to play her however you want.

Tris is the second oldest of her siblings, representing sorrow and envy. She is typically soft spoken but can have quick mood swings. Switching from calm to furious or angry to depressed being par for the course. She’s greatly upset with the nature of her, and her sisters lives and often has trouble dealing with it. She often drinks to avoid thinking about these issues.

Libby is the third oldest of her siblings, representing lust. She loves to act air headed as a means of flirting with others, especially men. Despite the act, she’s extremely intelligent, spending her free time reading medical journals and recent scientific findings. She is the elder sibling that is often tasked with taking care of the younger ones. She has a distinct voice she speaks with normally and the one she uses when being an “airhead.”

Ani is the middle of her siblings and represents wrath. She often spends her time trying to improve herself, physically or mentally for the sake of protecting her family and friends. She’s very straightforward and simple. She has a strong tendency to injure herself much to Libby’s annoyance. I had imagined her with a somewhat deep voice.

Milly is the third youngest of her siblings and represents gluttony. Unlike her siblings, she cannot eat normal food and gain enjoyment from it. To her, it’s tasteless. Her preferred meal is blood, particularly blood from young girls. She is immature with a naïve sense of justice, always believing that she’s the one in the right. I pictured her as a standard high school girl type voice and personality.

Avi is the second youngest of her siblings and represents greed. She is extremely shy especially with showing her face to others. She is quite immature and hates spending money on anything despite her vast wealth. She has several clones made from her shadow that often make fun of her or give her a hard time. She should have the voice like a typical young girl.

Desdia is the youngest of her siblings and represents sloth. Because of her status as the youngest, all her other siblings dote on her. Despite this, she is extremely mature especially considering her age. She is often deadpan and has difficulty in social situations due to spending most of her time in her room. She is highly logical and serious. I had imagined her having a normal voice for a young girl but articulated like child knowing how to act like an adult. Despite the knowledge of being an adult, she is still a child.

A mischievous trickster in all the right and wrong ways, Tory is hell-bent on living life her way regardless of how you feel about it. Practically aggressive with her brashness, competitive drive, and arrogance, the tanuki is far from afraid to speak her mind on the world around her. But at the end of the day, a not-so-hidden positive, supportive and empathetic side may make her a surprisingly kind rival… or maybe even a friend.

Anna is a self-proclaimed “wandering scientist”, travelling the world as an excuse to see and prod at things she deems cool and hopefully sate her curiosity. Carefree, highly enthusiastic and passionate, and often quite eager to chat, yet poorly hides an impulsive, reckless and often impatient streak. Very confident in herself, great for self-positivity but not great for wanton bets.

People really underrate labcoats, I think. I LOVE labcoats. They’re so comfy and cozy and cool and they’re juuuuuust the right amount of weight on your shoulders… (beat) uh, what were we talking about again?
