Made by the Blade: SoulCaliber 6 OC Story

This is the main character! Prince Onya Jabari is young (it says teen, but teen to young adult works), almost a practitioner of a fighting style passed down from his instructor (but he is far from the best fighter). However, the amount of peace in the land has betrayed his way of thinking,. He has a lack of respect for clear and present danger, which some misconstrued as bravery. His arrogance and lack of respect for danger result in the loss of his kingdom, causing the world he knew to come crumbling down on him. 

Jake is the the private instructor of Jabari Onya, and as a result, the two are very close. At a young age, he created a fighting style that managed to incorporate what no other style could: anti magic. He has been through 3 wars, and while none could keep him down, he knows that every time he picks up his blade, only suffering and loss will follow. He is fairly energetic, but a part of him has been wizened by constant combat.  He's a smart mouth, a victim of his time period, but a warrior through it all.

Eerie legends tell a tale of a force of nature: destruction incarnate! The immortal being that ransacks even the strongest and most prevalent kingdoms is the Black Knight. Well, legends aren't always true, but some are stranger than fiction. The Black Knight is actually the weapon held, not the person (though no one knows that). The previous wielder is always erased from existence through a rare type of magic: dream magic. It taps into the user's memories and makes anyone whom it came in contact with forget them. One family of royals were particularly fond of the Black Knight due to a promise of power, but bringing it back to their kingdom has caused disater to spread. The Black Knight is a (admittedly hammy and stereotypical) villain. It's existence thrives off of new users. It's a parasite that traps new hosts inside their own minds. The Black Knight is motivated by one thing: survival. This is why it continues to conquer; it wants as many potential users as it can get. After all, staying loyal to a select few would mean running out of sources of magic and physical body, which means the end for the blade.

The crown guard of Jabari: Jax Torres was a trouble maker. He was a mercenary who used his influence and social class standing only to get what he wanted: larger wealth. He was often hired to protect places for one reason alone: he had extremely rare and archaic time magic. He did what he was paid to do, but he definitely bullied and coerced some extra money out of someone somehow. He leaves this life behind when he loses much of his wealth to the pirates and raiders he often made deals with and gets hired as crown guard for arresting his old running buddies. He is hand picked by a naive and VERY young Jabari, whose world view is refreshingly positive for him. He becomes fiercely loyal to Jabari. However, the question remains; when will he relapse? 

Apocraphis is Black Knight's personal assassin. Apocraphis is also a case of being the weapon and not the person. The Apocraphis blade twists the mind of the user in order to bend to the user to its will. It does not control the user, but it is hard to resist its demands. Apocraphis, unlike Black Knight, wants to take over simply because it enjoys scenarios that simulate an apocalyptic event for a controlled area. However, it too must seek out new users, which it doesn't find particularly thrilling. Apocraphis is sly, cunning, and merciless. It loves to prolong suffering.
