Project Overview
VOICE ACTOR Rules/Auditioning Guidelines:
Before auditioning you must keep in mind this is a short term project that shouldn't take more than a month to complete (unless you need an extension). We are only planning to do the prologue, but if it does well, or if I have more time I may consider doing spin-offs. For now, we are only sticking to the prologue.
Having a discord is required
All auditions submitted must be professional. (No outta takes/messing up mid-line, music in your file, arguing with your family in the audition, etc.)
Submitting 2-3 takes per line, each with different intonations is greatly appreciated but not required
There is no preference; ABCABC or AABBCC is perfectly fine.
Due to being short staffed, scripts will be videos. Here is an example of what scripts will look like.
STAFF RULES/GUIDELINES:
1. Please be reliable. If you need to leave the project please let me know, I understand things come up especially since all behind the scenes positions are long term. I would prefer you letting me know ahead of time rather than leaving without saying a word.
2. Discord is required. You will be part of the behind-the-scenes staff on the channel, so it is very important you are on the production server with the other cast.
Otome Summary:
Love Tangle: The otome is set at a luxurious apartment in Kaleido City, and is called Lilac Court. Many celebrities reside here. One day, Julia moves in to start her new life at Lilac Court. As she starts to get to know the men living there, she ends up being trapped into a love triangle.

With NTT Solmare's recent termination notice, I unfortunately am a one woman team and have been recording all the routes for all their remaining games (Wizardess Heart, Lost Alice, Blood in Roses, Love Tangle, Ninja Shadow) on my own. However, I desperately need help as I will be unable to obtain all footage alone for the otome before severs shut down for good. It is important that these recordings saying our protagonist's name to make it easier for the cast and editors! For anyone interested, please message me and I will DM you a link to our server we are using to get the recordings! We will also be accepting donations on our ko-fi and any donations up until September 28th will be used to get more endings + story tickets for routes. After September 28th, all in-app purchases will be disabled.

The parody/skit asmr writers team is NOT specific to the Love Tangle project. It is a GENERAL project for all of the projects we are running on the team. The other projects we are running on the team are Honkai Star Rail, Genshin Impact, Cinderella Phenomenon, Lost Alice, Wizardess Heart, The Arcana, and more.
The purpose of this team is to create very short, unhinged, whacky scripts that are parody/skits for ASMRs to help the channel produce more entertaining original content. Here is an example of what we have done for our skits https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLg8S5WhIX2uehpkeMGu2ApXTIJE4UAS_L (originally it was an April Fool's series only, however, it has been received well on the channel therefore I have decided to open it as a permanent video series on the channel).
For those interested, please include some of your writing samples (Comedy preferred). Please know that we will require this team to be active, and have at least 1 script turned in per month. 2 is preferred, but I understand that we all have lives therefore the requirement will be at least 1 script. Scripts should be 1-3 pages long, BUT you are more than welcomed to write more than 3 scripts if you'd prefer. We are looking for writers of all skill levels with an interest in participating in our skit project. Please know that this is not necessarily meant to be professional; once again, this is not traditional ASMR writing it will be more chaotic and unhinged. If you are looking to be part of our regular ASMR team, please message me your portfolio!

**Please understand that by applying for this position, you will be part of the official/general thumbnail team. This position isn't just specific to thumbnails for Love Tangle, I am just adding this as a general recruitment.
Artists of all experiences and levels are all welcomed to apply!
How will this work? Thumbnail work is on a voluntary basis. The team will also have to work together to get assignments done. Work will be split into two positions: sketching + lineart, and coloring/shading. Aspect ratios for thumbnails must ALWAYS be 16:9 or 1280x720 pixels. Backgrounds for Genshin Impact/Honkai Star Rail thumbnails will be required to be drawn; otherwise, Otome thumbnail backgrounds can be provided.
The sketch/ink artist will always be the one deciding how the thumbnail will go. When I give out assignments, I will be giving ideas of what I would like for the thumbnail, but ultimately it is up to the sketch artist. They can go with their own idea, or pick one of mine.
Each artist has 2 weeks to get their portion of the work done. If you are doing your own sketches, inking, and coloring, you will get a month to get everything done.
When submitting your application, in the notes of your audition please let me know which of the following positions you are interested in: sketches/inking, coloring/shading, or both. If you prefer to do your own work with no help, it would help for you to mention that as well please!

Comic editors will be helping me edit comics from Genshin Impact, The Arcana, and Honkai Star Rail. You will be responsible in looking for music and sound effects to be used for the video you are editing(unless I provide you with specific soundtracks/SFX to be used or add suggestions). However, they must be under the creative commons license which means anyone can use the music/sound effect you are looking at AS LONG as credit is given. If we need to purchase a license to use the sound effect/music then I'd like to refrain from that if possible. I don't know how that stuff works-- as in, I don't know if *I* will be needing to purchase the license as well if it is being posted onto my channel.

Julia is the protagonist of Love Tangle and is a very well accomplished young woman. She is very intelligent, and has degrees in both biology and veterinary medicine. She was offered to work as part of a wildlife management program and has since then accepted this offer.
Julia is very passionate and dedicated. She will go above and beyond with any task that is given to her. Julia will do anything she can to protect any endangered species, and is always gentle and loving towards the animals she care for. Her life mission is pretty much to save as many animals as she can.
Voice: Any pitch (most preferred medium range), maybe a bit intelligent, otherwise pretty much up for interpretation.

Joy is a stylist who also lives in the same mansion as the protagonist. Joy is very friendly and perky. She is a good and reliable friend who often gives the protagonist advice when it is needed. She also has a very close relationship with Miguel, and the two are seen almost always joking around with one another.

Ryan is a famous bartender who is has a natural charm that makes him popular with the ladies. He is the other brother of Cody Gray. He is someone who is hard to find, and is also very considerate to his brother.

Cody Gray is a famous actor, and is the younger brother of Ryan Gray. He is frank, ambitious, but also considerate to his older brother. He can be a bit outgoing and teases the protagonist and his other housemates from time to time.

Miguel is a famous gold medalist who takes a break from his career. This decision shocks everyone. It is later revealed he does this because he is now afraid of swimming. He is kind and understanding, but always endures pain and hardship on his own. He doesn't show his true feelings or complain to others. Miguel is outgoing and is the type of person anyone can rely on.
Voice: Up to interpretation. Maybe friendly and outgoing could work

Naoki is a calligrapher who ran away from his clan. He is a quiet, kind, and very passionate man.

Voice: High to medium pitched, maybe a bit flirtatious. Up to interpretation, as long as it remains within the desired pitch range.
