Lost Melody - A Voice Acted, Musical Gacha Series
Project Overview
INTRODUCTION OF 'LOST MELODY'
After a lengthy hiatus away from the entertainment industry due to unsaid reasons, you'd think restarting the path to fame and fortune doing the thing she loved would be preferable, right?
Well, that isn't the case for former internet sensation, Melodie. Instead, setting off to an art college in Noira Falls to pursue her studies instead of maintaining her presence in the media was her choice of action.
Little did she know, what would become of that decision would be something she never expected... and all that she had buried would rise to face her once more.
WHAT WE REQUIRE:
- MINIMAL BACKGROUND NOISES are acceptable, but absolutely NO ECHOS (Record under a blanket, in your closet, anything you gotta do to reduce it)
- CLEAR, COHERABLE ENUNCIATION, I'd like to be able to hear and understand what you say clearly without any mispronounciations.
- ON-TIME LINE SUBMISSIONS, if you fail to submit your lines before the given deadline, you will be given a strike. Three strikes, your role will be recasted. (Don't worry though you'll get around 2 weeks worth of time to complete your lines)
- RESPECT AND DO NOT UNDERMINE OTHERS INVOLVED IN THIS PRODUCTION, don't get in the way or insult anyone's creations. Constructive criticism is alright, but do not boast your achievements or downplay others'.
- BE PASSIONATE & HAVE FUN - a half-hearted delivery is the last thing I want, so truly try your best to embody the character, and make something you'd even enjoy!

She's bluntly honest, and tries to put up a façade of a cold, unfriendly girl, but eventually breaks it because its not who she is. She's genuine and caring towards the people of her choice, others face a more intimidating side of her."
I'm looking for someone who can accurately present the cold armour she puts on towards the world, but also her vulnerability with her loved ones.
Voice qualities: Relatively low, composed (except when she's iritated), venomously sarcastic when needed.
[Sarcastic] "No, no. Walking into a stranger’s home and being ear raped by haunting metal is definitely pleasant."
"Well, at least there’s one nice guy."

What's needed is a shining, warm voice, not necessarily raspy or too hyper.
Voice qualities: Medium to low, enthusiastic, dramatic, awkward when embarrassed.
(Faking sadness) "And you had to offend me so many times… Mhm. Or it could be that my warmth finally got through to you.."

"Jeanette, now a social media influencer, was a distant cousin Melodie grew up with. Her persona is of a bubbly, happy-go-lucky girl devoted to her fans- and also her make up products. But once the audience's eyes and cameras are off her, she's a tad bit distant and cold, especially towards Melodie. She harbours hatred towards Melodie to this day."
Her voice doesn't have an immediate change, but I'd like to hear a slight shift in tone when she talks casually compared to talking to an audience.
