~The Capture~ (OC voice claims)

~The Capture~ (OC voice claims)

Project Overview

This is a very quick and simple thing that I've been wanting to do for a little while! I've been working on a story for about a month now, and need some voices that will help me envision the characters better.

You will only need to say the audition lines because that is all I need for the characters' voice claims. (This means that there will not be any video or audio that your voice will be used in, just for me to use privately.)

What the Story is About

(I'm only saying this to help you understand the emotions and to help you attach yourself to the character more^^)

Franz, the antagonist, is a broken man due to his wife death caused by the plague. He blames the doctor, Dr. Favian, for her death and is seeking revenge. In rage he kidnaps Favian and tortures him for what he thinks he has done.

Back at the hospital, Dr. Abigail, is given Favian's patients because he isn't at work. This raises suspicion in Abigail, and she starts to peice together why on earth the man that never seems to want to leave work disappears.

(This is a very shortened version of what is happening.)

Latest Updates

  • Deadline Change

Hello all you wonderful and talented people! I decided to change the deadline of this project to the deadline of my other project so they end at the same time. I would also like to say that when I finish this story, I will be posting another project with more lines for each character, and maybe even some more characters for you guys to try out!

It is highly preferred if you audition for this character to do a Russian accent, though it isn't required. His voice is very clear and clean cut as well, and will only say what needs to be said and nothing else. He tends to use a lot of big words because he reads a lot..like a lot a lot. He is usually tired most of the time because he is working 24/7, 7 days a week, and twice on a Sunday, but he doesn't really have to.

Language:

  • “This isn’t what she would’ve wanted…,” (this is to be said sort of like a mumble, but still loud enough for Franz to hear him.)

  • “Sir…please, I beg of you to show mercy! Is there no peace of mind that at least I tried to save her?! Are you not happy that there were efforts made, rather than you having her on your own without any help?” (pleading, yelling but not very loudly, trying to change Franz's' mind. Try to sound hurt when saying this line because he is saying this after Franz beat him up)

  • “When I was younger, I lost my best friend to the plague…as well as my mother…”

(Trying to reason with Franz, telling him that he has also gone through what he is.)

Her voice is very sweet sounding and clear. Though she is sweet, she can be very sarcastic and smug at times. You can add a German accent if you'd like for this character though it isn't required. This is because she grew up and currently lives in Vienna, however I don't see that accent fitting with this character at the moment.

Language:

  • “Doctor Favians’, why?”

(She is questioning her superior doctor why she is being given Dr. Favians patients to take care of.)

  • “He is never late, and he never not shows up. He practically lives here. Don’t you think that this is a little strange ma’am?”

(When saying 'He practically lives here,' you can sound sarcastic even though you are still wondering why he isn't at work.)

  • “She was admitted to the hospital because of a fever and a cough, and she was placed into…”

(She is looking at a file, trying to put the puzzle pieces together of why Favian is absent from work. She finds out that Franz's' wife, Lisa, was placed into Dr. Favians care."

Franz's voice is a little gruff and low. It is preferred for this character to have a lower voice than Favian.

This character is torn in two because of his wife's death, causing him to go crazy for revenge.

Please say your lines with as much emotion you can because he is a very emotional character.

Language:

  • “You…you killed her…!”

(This is the first line said from Franz to Favian. He is filled with rage, and he says this when he is running towards Favian, trying to 'attack' him)

  • “She counted on you to save her, to fix her! I counted on you! You are a fool... how can you call yourself a doctor when all you do is cause more harm than good, hm?”

(He is saying this line loudly to Favian, telling him how bad of a doctor he is.)

  • “I…I just miss her so much….it feels as if there is a void in my heart that she took with her to the grave…you have no idea what it’s like to lose someone that you love dearly..”

(This line is when Favian has finally reached Franzs' heart, making him stop torturing him. Franz is softly crying when he is saying this line.)

She has an old/aged voice that is also very soft. She is the oldest one in the story, making her the wisest and all knowing out of all of the characters. However, her age won't stop her from getting a good joke in once in a while.

Voice description:
  • female senior
  • “Well, seeing as you have nothing better to do, I need you to take care of Dr. Favian’s patients for the day.”

(She is currently drinking a cup of tea, so if you'd like to make a sipping noise somewhere in this line, go for it!)

  • “It seems that Dr. Favian has regarded to show up to work today, blessing us with his absence.”

(She says this line with a lot of sarcasm and chuckles a little bit after.)

  • “My appreciation towards you for helping take care of Favian's patients today Abigail. I’m sure once he returns he’ll say his thanks as well.”

(She is saying this line softly, showing her gratitude to Abigail.)
