Project Overview

I am currently looking for a long term voice actress to cover a recurring character over several games I am making. The characters role will change quite a bit so I am looking for someone who has a pretty good skill level.

I will be using the Ludum Dare Game jam as a factor for making my final decision. The script for the Ludum Dare game will be started on the evening of the 9th of December, and the lines will need to be delivered by midday on December 12th.

Though the requirements say Ageless. I am aiming for the voice of a young adult, while keeping a bit of an open mind.

NOTE: You will need to be available from December 9th-December 12th


To clear up some misunderstandings that have cropped up in other auditions Ludum Dare is a game jam that takes place over the weekend of December the 9th and ends on December 12th.

So these are the steps to this audition.

Step 1. Audition.

Step 2. I'll pick the closests out of the auditions.

Step 3. That person will assist during Ludum Dare.

Step 4. I will then pay that person the promised amount

Step 5. I will then decide if that person is suitable for the long term roll.

  • Ludum Dare

    I have posted a second audition for a male voice that is very similar to this audition. However, the questions on that side have made me want to clear things up so that everyone knows what they are signing up for. If you read this, and decide that you no longer wish to participate, then please let me know. Via comment or pm or something. I'll see it.

    This audition is a screening process. This is to find a voice I find suitable for the character of Alice who appears in a series of games I am making. Since this is a long term project, a couple of lines are not going to tell me everything I need to know about the voice actors skill or ability to do the characters voice. So I am using the oppertunity of Ludum Dare (Which is occuring between the evening of December the 9th to December the 12th) to see if I really like the voice actor I am hiring.

    The 50 dollar fee I am paying is for your word during the ludum dare, so you will need to be available that weekend. If I decide that I do like your work, and wish to cast you fully for the character of Alice, then we can discuss further business.
