Loaded Dice is an upcoming webcomic planning for release in late 2026-2027. The story follows Asterios "Aster" Onasis and his group of friends who share the common interest of Dungeons & Dragons. Things begin to shift when Aster is gifted a new dice set, as once he uses it at his next game session, he and his friends are transported to another world. Lost in a fantasy realm of their own making, the group must find their way back to each other and figure out how to return to their world. However, things prove themself to be harder than they seem when Asters' friends are lost in the mindset of the characters they created. Now, Aster must double the responsibility of jogging his friends' memories and getting them home safely.
Starweaver is a new studio for visual productions, where we thread ideas into full creative works! We are looking for (16+) long-term team members who have a passion for our idea and for working within our studio. All positions require a flexible schedule and availability to work frequently. English speakers are required, but it does not need to be your first language.
Starweaver projects run on a deferred, profit-share payment model. Once revenue is generated, profits are split 60-40 in the teams' favor and split across the different roles. This percentage may differ across Starweaver projects and will be communicated if so. Payments will be made via PayPal.
The deadline for wave 1 auditions is May 1st, 2026. People may be chosen earlier than this, but this is the official hard deadline. Missed the date? No worries! Starweaver has plenty of opportunities coming for you in the future. We plan to open roles for other projects and will give opportunities to even more artists such as musicians, voice actors, video editors, and more!
Discord is required for all positions. Once chosen, you will be contacted by a project lead to welcome you to the studio. You will be provided an onboarding document explaining how projects under Starweaver work before being invited to the team Discord server. There, you'll get to work alongside other artists and staff to help bring this project to life.

Here are some additional things we look for in Starweaver members:
Long-term Collaboration. As mentioned, Starweaver projects are all long-term projects. We want to create long lasting productions and build partnerships with artists to help them grow and learn alongside the staff.
Active Communication. Communicating clearly and in a timely manner is key to success in Starweaver. While you do not need to constantly online, we expect you to be active enough to be responsive to announcements and keep progress schedule running smoothly.
Passion. Members should be passionate and happy to be doing the work they're assigned. We want members who love the concepts we come up and have a genuine excitement to work on them.
Reliability. We are looking for members who will meet deadlines and work effectively during their time with us. We want members who can prove they're a strong team member and can collaborate effectively with other members.

This includes planning episodes and story arcs, researching relevant themes or topics, writing scripts and dialogue, and defining the story's pacing.

Description: the storyboard artist translates the script into visual storytelling. They create rough panel layouts, determine camera angles, shot composition, panel transitions, and establish the rhythm of each scene. Their work serves as a visual blueprint for artists downstream, ensuring clarity in action, emotion, and scene progression.

Description: the background artist designs and illustrates the environments where the story takes place. This includes interiors, exteriors, landscapes, recurring locations, etc.. They establish atmosphere, perspective while maintaining visual consistency with the overall art direction and worldbuilding.

Description: the inker refines rough sketches and storyboard drawings into clean, polished lineart. They focus on line weight, clarity, and consistency, making sure characters, objects, and backgrounds are ready for coloring. The inker plays a key role in defining the final visual style and readability of the artwork.

Description: the colorist adds color, shading, and lighting to characters/backgrounds. Their work helps establish mood, time of day, emotional tone, and visual depth. They also ensure color harmony and consistency across episodes, adapting palettes when needed for dramatic or narrative impact.

Description: the letterer places dialogue, captions, sound effects, and onomatopoeia into the panels. They ensure text is clear, well-paced, and readable for anyone. The letterer also contributes to visual storytelling by integrating text in a way that enhances action, emotion, and flow without overcrowding the art.

Description: the character designer creates the visual identity of the characters. This includes designing their physical appearance, outfits, expressions, and silhouettes, as well as producing reference sheets for use by the rest of the team. They allow characters to remain visually consistent and expressive throughout the project.

Description: the creature designer is responsible for designing all non-humanoid entities in the webcomic, such as enemies, monsters, familiars, and other fantastical beings. They develop the creatures’ anatomy, behavior, visual themes, and variations, making sure each design fits the world’s lore and artistic style.

Description: the promo (illustration) artist creates static promotional visuals used to showcase the project across social media and platforms. This includes posters, banners, thumbnails, and illustrated memes. Their role is to highlight characters, themes, and major moments of the webcomic while maintaining a strong, recognizable visual identity aligned with the main art direction.

Description: the promo (animation) artist produces animated promotional content to increase visibility and engagement. This includes short animations, motion graphics, animated teasers, loops, and social media clips. They focus on dynamic presentation, timing, and visual impact, adapting the project’s style into motion while respecting platform constraints and branding.
