Limbus Enterprise: The Limbus Fandub of All Time
Project Overview
Hello hello! My name is Ryoki, the co-owner and voice director of LIMBUS ENTERPRISE!!! We are a semi-serious 16+ fandub of the hit game Limbus Company made by the hit developers Project Moon. This project was only made about two weeks ago, so we're rising to CCC in order to actually cast some folk later down the road.
We're looking for anything. Voice actors, writers, editors (please)—you name it, we want it! We plan on voicing existing comics from artists, self-made skits, and perhaps the game if we're feeling spunky. We prefer auditions from people who know Limbus Company, but are willing to accept anyone as long as they encompass the character properly!
Here are the requirements for auditions:
Must be 16+. We're a 16+ community, and you'd be part of the community if cast.
Please put your name, age, and Discord somewhere in the audition information. Again, we're 16+. And we need a way to contact you!
You need at least ABC format. AABBCC is preferred; however, ABC is accepted.
Please try to perform to the character. While we might be only semi-serious, we value the accuracy of our voice impressions and the characterization alongside it. We look for encompassing the essence of character rather than pure accuracy.
While we don't require this, please join our Discord server. We want to build a community—we want everyone to be a part of it!

Yi Sang is sad. That is what he comes off as. Like one of those ducks who has oil slathered between their wings, pathetically futile cries escaping the maw of a being not strong enough to lift itself any longer. No, I have nothing against Yi Sang. He's simply a funny guy.
Yi Sang's voice is of medium pitch—he speaks softly, with slight rasp to his tone. I have always envisioned him a 'depressed poet' type of voice; he doesn't speak with emotion, rather sounding logical and observant... yet weirdly melancholic.

Have you ever wanted to voice someone better than you in every conceivable way? This is what Faust is. Confidence with the intelligence to back it up. As reliable as she is, she is quite astutely pretentious. The Gesellschaft really inflated her ego, huh.
Faust's voice is soft, with a medium pitch. Her tone is cold, calculating—almost like a machine. She is analytical in nature, her logical words devoid of any emotion. Except condenscension. She is quite condescending. You can use a slight German accent if you wish, but it is not required.

I would always get up after three hours of sleep. I thought it was a natural phenomenon, but I later learned it wasn't the case for every individual.
I'm considering adjusting my level of speed for different Sinners. Repeating myself twice or more can be rather inefficient.

Don Quxiote is thoroughly energetic. Her voice is medium-high in pitch, and her tone is like a theater kid. The highs are highs, the lows are lows. She speaks like she partakes in a Shakespearean play, living for the dramatic dream she follows.

Ryoshu's a psychopath. Seriously. She thoroughly enjoys the 'art' of blood splatter and bodily desecration. If you piss her off, she will gladly kill you without a second thought. She speaks in acronyms to save time, which Sinclair has assumed the role of translator for. I have not much else because she is scary. However, she does have somewhat of a caring side, as seen for when she helps Sinclair overcome his problems.
Ryoshu's voice is medium-low in pitch, and her tone is rather nonchalant. She really doesn't G.A.F. about most things, just talking with slight arrogance in her tone, like you're beneath her. She also has slight rasp in her voice, being a chronic smoker.
I recommend referencing her KR voicelines for this one above all else.

Meursault is the silent, suave type, except replace suave with orderly, rule-driven, and completely, completely by-the-book. This guy will not do anything unless it is specifically designated for him to, speak only when spoken to, and communicate only what is necessary to further the team's mission. While he has been slowly improving on it, he still is the strong, silent archetype, a loyal henchman.
Meursault's voice is low in pitch and very, very empty. His tone is strictly logical and analytical; he does not convey emotions for he does not share emotions. He simply does what he is asked, to the point, efficiency unparalleled. I wish to emphasize again that his voice is deep.

Hong Lu is that one rich kid who instead of growing a god complex loses all meaning in life. Being the heir to a prestigous family in H Corp, his life has been very... different from the rest of the Sinners. He has this sort of nihilistic dread within him that leads him to be apathetic towards decisions—he is content with whatever.
Hong Lu's voice is high in pitch with a light, cheerful tone. He is rather soft but light, not in the way of being happy but in the way of avoiding your problems. It's in the way of shrugging all your problems away and ignoring your trauma. Apathetic towards life. "It is what it is" personality.

Heathcliff has a brash, headstrong personality. As someone who's spent his time out in the Backstreets (for those unaware, it is basically the rough part of town), he has grown to be defensive, tempermental, and bold. A bit on the dense side as well.
For his voice, he should sound bold with a medium to low pitch and a gruffness that comes off as confident in himself. And, most importantly, he has a prominent British cockney accent. Please make the British cockney accent. That's the most important part. :)

Ishmael is a firm woman. She once was an office worker, then a sailor, then something something giant whale killed wife and now vengeance creed. I don't entirely remember her Canto. However, she is a woman driven to achieve her goals no matter the cost.
Ishmael's voice is medium pitch with a very firm tone. She's not overly complicated; she's astute in her words and enunciates each word as if to accurately convey her message. While her tone is soft, it carries the unwavering certainty in her resolve.

Steak, champagne, and a high rise hotel are the dream for this little impoverished axe wielder. Something about disparity in capitalist wealth or 1984.
Rodya's voice is a medium pitch with a thick teasing tone. She is NOT a "mature older woman" character. She is a friendly one with a rather cheerful, teasing tinge to her words—light and nonchalant. A mild Russian accent is fitting for her character, but not needed.

Sinclair is a timid young man. He's a young adult that was suddenly thrown into the life of a Fixer—he doesn't have much experience on the field and is uncertain of his own capabilities/judgment.
When voicing Sinclair, the most important thing to remember is his hesitance. When ellipses (...) occur in his lines, you can trail off your words before continuing to demonstrate that he doesn't have confidence in what he's saying. His tone is fairly soft, with a medium to high pitch and nervous undertones. A slight German accent fits his character, but is unneeded.

Outis' voice is a medium-low pitch with a firm tone. She is a commanding woman—she asserts her presence very quickly and ensures that people understand her authority. Make sure to maintain a firm tone in all your lines, being commanding as the line calls for and calm when needed.

Being a cockroach hybrid is not fun. It makes people sad. This is what happens to Gregor, who is a cockroach hybrid that is sad. After the Smoke War, Gregor has been desperately trying to find his place in society. He has not been able to, being a cockroach hybrid, so he resorts to smoking and sinning as a Sinner. Plus mommy issues (thanks Hermann!).
Gregor's voice is medium-low pitch with a friendly tone within. That friendly tone is mixed in with a tired facet—the tired that you get after years of being lost in life, not the exhaustion kind. He's just someone going with the flow, an easygoing nature mixed with gruff voice to meld into a tired ol' cockroach man. Poor guy.

Vergilius is lke the caretaker of a bunch of rowdy children. He is routinely thrown itno complications based on their distinct inability to complete missions the appropriate manner, and has grown weary of putting up with these shenanigans unfolding. As the Guide of Limbus Company group B, he is contractually bound to continue this penitence for whatever mistake led him here.
Vergilius' voice is medium in pitch and extremely raspy. He sounds like a chronic smoker and has a harsh grip on the throat when he speaks (not literally). I'd imagine Blade from Honkai: Star Rail for his voice, but a bit wiser and less melodramatic if you wish for another reference—more rasp, less gruff.

Using a map is a difficult endeavor, apparently. Charon is the afficenado of not using maps—countless hours have been spent driving in circles, on wrong ways, or over people. It'd be nice if the Sinners' "efficiency" could be matched by the glorified bus driver, but at least they get a break in between slaughtering sessions!
Charon's voice is a high pitch with a flat tone. She speaks without emotion in her voice, wording phrases similarly to that of a child. When reading her lines, make sure to maintain a flatness for her specifically, as her monotone nature is what drives her dialogue.
