CASTING!!!
Hello everyone!
A bit of late notice, but we will be hosting casting on December 13th, 1pm EST in the discord server! https://discord.gg/limbusenterprise
Hello hello! My name is Ryoki, the co-owner and voice director of LIMBUS ENTERPRISE!!! We are a semi-serious 16+ fandub of the hit game Limbus Company made by the hit developers Project Moon. Our first casting was a huge hit, so we're BACK with uncasted characters + the major players from the Cantos!
We're looking for anything. Voice actors, writers, editors (please)—you name it, we want it! We plan on voicing existing comics from artists, self-made skits, and perhaps the game if we're feeling spunky. We prefer auditions from people who know Limbus Company, but are willing to accept anyone as long as they encompass the character properly!
Here are the requirements for auditions:
Must be 16+. We're a 16+ community, and you'd be part of the community if cast.
Please put your name, age, and Discord somewhere in the audition information. Again, we're 16+. And we need a way to contact you!
You need at least ABC format. AABBCC is preferred; however, ABC is accepted.
Please try to perform to the character. While we might be only semi-serious, we value the accuracy of our voice impressions and the characterization alongside it. We look for encompassing the essence of character rather than pure accuracy.
While we don't require this, please join our Discord server. We want to build a community—we want everyone to be a part of it!
https://discord.gg/limbusenterprise
Thank you for your consideration, and happy auditioning!
*Note that if you wish for advice/to contact me, you must join the Discord server. I will not be replying to most comments. However, I will provide advice in server with everyone else.

Hello everyone!
A bit of late notice, but we will be hosting casting on December 13th, 1pm EST in the discord server! https://discord.gg/limbusenterprise
As it seems CCC doesn't want to save my implementations, the OFFICIAL new deadline for auditions is November 28th. Casting will prospectively be a week after that in the discord server!
Good luck to everyone involved, and have a good day :D
The role for Faust has opened! This is just to let everyone know. I forgot to earlier, that's my bad.
Have you ever wanted to voice someone better than you in every conceivable way? This is what Faust is. Confidence with the intelligence to back it up. As reliable as she is, she is quite astutely pretentious. The Gesellschaft really inflated her ego, huh.
Faust's voice is soft, with a medium pitch. Her tone is cold, calculating—almost like a machine. She is analytical in nature, her logical words devoid of any emotion. Except condenscension. She is quite condescending.
Faust's voicelines/reference can be found here.
It's Faust. A genius with whom you're lucky to cross paths with even once in your life.
I would always get up after three hours of sleep. I thought it was a natural phenomenon, but I later learned it wasn't the case for every individual.
I'm considering adjusting my level of speed for different Sinners. Repeating myself twice or more can be rather inefficient.
Heathcliff has a brash, headstrong personality. As someone who's spent his time out in the Backstreets (for those unaware, it is basically the rough part of town), he has grown to be defensive, tempermental, and bold.
For his voice, he should sound bold with a medium to low pitch and a gruffness that comes off as confident in himself. And, most importantly, he has a prominent British cockney accent. Please make the British cockney accent. That's the most important part. :)
Heathcliff voicelines/reference can be found here.
Name's Heathcliff. Clobbering people is my specialty. 'Course, only when I fancy it.
Just 'cause you're the manager doesn't mean you get to lecture me or shove me into shoddy plans. I don't follow anyone's orders.
Don't you ever get curious about what's on the other side of that clock on your shoulders, mate? Hahah, I was just taking the piss. What's got you shaking like timber?
Being a cockroach hybrid is not fun. It makes people sad. This is what happens to Gregor, who is a cockroach hybrid that is sad. After the Smoke War, Gregor has been desperately trying to find his place in society. He has not been able to, being a cockroach hybrid, so he resorts to smoking and sinning as a Sinner. Plus mommy issues (thanks Hermann!).
Gregor's voice is medium-low pitch with a friendly tone within. That friendly tone is mixed in with a tired facet—the tired that you get after years of being lost in life, not the exhaustion kind. He's just someone going with the flow, an easygoing nature mixed with gruff voice to meld into a tired ol' cockroach man. Poor guy.
Gregor's voicelines/reference can be found here.
Mm… It’s Gregor. Well, feel free to talk to me unless I’m asleep.
So, what do you usually do in your free time, Manager Bud? I’d lend you a cig… but I guess it won’t be useful for you.
This thing would keep on regrowing every time I tried to cut it off. My arm, I mean. Or should I call it a leg… It’s basically like family now. Well, that’s to say I had to accept that I’m stuck with it, like it or hate it.
Vergilius is lke the caretaker of a bunch of rowdy children. He is routinely thrown itno complications based on their distinct inability to complete missions the appropriate manner, and has grown weary of putting up with these shenanigans unfolding. As the Guide of Limbus Company group B, he is contractually bound to continue this penitence for whatever mistake led him here.
Vergilius' voice is medium in pitch and extremely raspy. He sounds like a chronic smoker and has a harsh grip on the throat when he speaks (not literally). I'd imagine Blade from Honkai: Star Rail for his voice, but a bit wiser and less melodramatic if you wish for another reference—more rasp, less gruff.
Vergilius' voicelines/reference can be found here.
Must they really make me do something so inane...? Drudgery after drudgery... haah.
What...a creative decision. I would prefer it if you could save these experiments for later.
Not bad, Dante. You've reduced your troubles to a a pule of red meat.
Every Limbus player's canon event. If you missed out on this, your experience will never be the same.
Yuri is the first NPC we meet that isn't part of the LCB. A shy, rather recluse woman, a former L. Corp employee back when they put the L in Lobotomy, Yuri is the one who introduces us to the Lobotomy branch. Worn down and despaired, she joins us to scavenge for the bough, even managing to almost be part of our motley crew... until we're reminded that the bus only has room for 15 by the apple.
Yuri is a medium-high to high voice. She is very shy and hesitant in her words. She doesn't want to intrude on the Sinners' goals, so whenever she wants to say something, it comes out soft and reluctant in nature. The ellipses are incredibly important in her lines—they show her trailing off, finding the courage to continue speaking with what's on her mind. TL;DR: Make sure your tone is soft, make sure to be hesitant in your speaking, and try to channel some residue fear from the collapse of Lobotomy Corporation. Face the fear, voice the Yuri.

"I’m Yuri, a former employee of the previous L Corp. I look forward to working with you."
"Umm, sorry to ask… But if I have the map, how do you know what roads to take?"
"That’s… I heard that was written on the contract. We were never properly informed, though… They said such routine procedures should be skipped for efficient management… That we should face the fear. In the end… anyone who joined the corporation agreed to it, knowingly or not."
Dude, Greg's mom is insane. Like, clinically. Not the "zoo wee mama" insane but the "oh no" insane.
Hermann is the leader of N. Corp. This is a spoiler if you have never played the game before, so beware I guess. She's methodical, she's evil, and she's definitely trouble for the Sinners. It's theorized that her goal is to make the "perfect human"—Greg was an attempt at such. How do you make the perfect human? A lot of Golden Boughs and a lot of insanity.
Hermann has a medium/medium-low pitch (I can see either to be fair) and is something who speaks methodically. She's a thinker, like Faust; she's analytical of her surroundings yet condescending in her delivery. However, she's rather quippy, her charisma seeping through to both allure her allies and intimidate her enemies. She speaks slowly with confidence in every word. Make sure to be super eeeevil! when voicing her!

"You should at least finish unwrapping what I gave you. That little arm isn’t all there is to it."
What does spite do to a man? While this is a great philosophical question, we're looking from a vocal standpoint. After his brother got murdered with the Kong family, Jia Huan became hateful, spiteful, and above all else, an asshole. His contempt toward the Jade of the Jia family is visible in each word he utters toward them, his demeaning of others palpable in each seared breath.
Jia Huan's voice is medium-medium high (in my humble opinion, that's how I see him), and he is someone who spits venom. When he's not dealing with one of his co-workers, he's belittling and cruel. To voice him properly, channel whatever hatred you hold towards someone into your voice and act as if you're utterly superior to them in every conceivable way.

"Do you know how filthy your clothing smells? If only your family were here to see your state."
"There is no need, Gubo. Look at what hangs from my little brother's waist. There are barely any coins there. Now that's Baoyu, pride and joy of Daguanyuan, everyone. So you won't need to waste a bullet on that thing. It's simply embarrassing."
"Now isn't this interesting. If you've made it to third place with those paltry coins, then... the first place must've really been hoarding all the coins for himself. Allow me to enter first, little brother. I'd loathe to display even the faintest semblance of amity with you. Although, I wouldn't mind if you would make a correct assessment of your limitations and drop out of the game now."
Calm. Composed. Kind of nerdy. Gubo.
Gubo is the antithesis to Yi Sang—I forget his lore since it's been a year since I've touched Canto IV—and he is the ultimate genius of the Fraud Duo. He was the one who kidnapped Yi Sang, having seen his potential in the original League of Nine believing that he could convince the fellow to join the new League. He failed because he is a fraud. He let Yi Sang escape and leave their place, probably because he's a fraud. Yada yada fraud fraud we need more Gubo lore.
Gubo's voice is fairly medium-medium high in pitch. He's soft but confident in his delivery; a smug arrogance, similar to Faust, yet more inclined to be boastful rather than factual. Someone who's so utterly assured in himself and his capabilities that he walks into every situation thinking he's got it on lock. You gotta have it on lock.

"Yi Sang, you're too lax. Why on earth would you leave it as a plaything when it can be so much more?"
"Have you decided to leave, my foolish companion? You have nowhere to return to, and you're dragging that tottering body along? Do you truly believe you will find a place to call home, wherever you might go? Enjoy your rest, then. I'll return once twilight arrives."
What does a communist con man sound like? Sonya. He sounds like Sonya. Sonya is a communist con man with like 5 lines and a dream. Go, commie boy, go!
Sonya's voice is... actually fairly low in game. I always envisioned him high, so use whatever pitch you want. We're gonna focus on tone with this guy.
You have to be suave. You have to be charming. Disarming. Not alarming. Be the type of guy that can effortlessly sway an army with charisma alone. He's basically a cult leader anyway. Make sure to have a voice like honey and a smile of gold. It'll help get into character. He doesn't have enough character time for me to go off at the moment.

" Well…Part of me might’ve wished that she’d follow me like in the past. But no, I think I’m actually relieved to find that she’s the same as before. Rodya wasn’t wishing for a perfect world with no flaws whatsoever. Rather, she might have felt…That it would be boring to live in such a world, since there’d be no way to affirm that she’s special. That’s the impression I got."
Kromer is... insane. Clearly. I've never seen someone so composed yet absolutely delusional. She speaks like it too—composed yet dramatic, flair in her tone. The psychoness leaks out when she laughs or gets overexcited; her tone flows with her emotions. She is a woman of medium, medium-high pitch, in which said pitch can fluctuate based on her emotion. She'll get giddy when excited, or she'll be calm when announcing herself. She'll be teasing to her Sinclair, or she'll be utterly ecstatic of her conquest. Just... go crazy.

I realized that in my making of these 20 auditions, it's slightly faster to do Line 1, Line 2, Line 3. Ignore the change.
"My name is Kromer. I’m a humanitarian who loves purity, and the one who grips the hammer. I don’t know how you managed to get here, but you’re trespassing on private property. As you can see… this hallowed ground is undergoing our nailing judgement."
"Hahahah! Really! My Sinclair is back? Come see me, Sinclair. I’ll be waiting at that familiar spot!"
"Take out the rest, Guido. Or should I myself? I wouldn’t mind. Hahahahaha! Good, good!! Let’s keep up the purification! Now then, everyone. Merry Christmas!"
WHO IS THIS GUY. SERIOUSLY. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT HIS DEAL IS.
Demian is an anomaly. He's something akin to a being beyond our scope of knowledge at the moment. He holds unfathomable knowledge that he refuses to tell us. He's something mysterious, something powerful—something that will end up shaping the SInners' path in time to come.
His voice is high in pitch, with mysteriousness forging the foundation of it all. He's slow, he's methodical, he takes his time to accentuate every word. I'd call him a wisp. Furthermore, he's not really emotional. His knowledge of what's to come leads him to speak like a mentor, probing the Sinners to come to such conclusions themselves. He's a strange one indeed.

"I often have this dream, Sinclair. In it, I climb an endlessly long ladder. Then everything down below comes into view. The Nest, the Backstreets, the Outskirts, all of it. And when I look beneath my feet, all the lights are out in the City, as if the end of all things had come. Fallen into silent death, empty of any motion. Indeed, it’s the state of death itself."
"Only then… will you see what matters most. And when you can see the things that matter most…You won’t have to stifle yourself with shallow threats or cheap tricks.…Isn’t that right, Sinclair?"
"You’ve changed your own fate, Sinclair. Right now, you’re neither a coward nor a hero. But you’ve still yet to let go of your fears completely. I’ve said it before, haven’t I? “When you fear someone…”
Saude... kinda hates the Sinners. Kinda. Not anymore, but she used to! Back in Canto III, she was arrogant, proud of herself and her handiwork, and utterly baffled at how the Sinners managed to screw it all up. Now, she's... accustomed to it, at least. She's still a bit miffed by their inability to perform to some standard, but is better equipped. Still sarcastic and assholey though!
Saude's voice is medium in pitch, with a lot of fluctuation in her tone. She's both amused and stupefied by the Sinners, while simultaenously being observant to her surroundings (as is her job). Her tone, however, is light in nature. She's not someone who talks serious. When approaching her voice, read the lines as if you're making light of things. Get that joviality in your tone and you should be good to go.

FARMWATCH MENTION FARMWATCH YI SANG WHEN (we are never getting that because of ties Farmwatch has to Korea as a whole)
Dongrang is a funny little fellow. He used to tend to animals for a while before going to work for the old League of Nine. Then he became EEEEEEVILLLLLL!!!! through being interrogated by TAX PEOPLE until he became the reason the LoN collapsed. He got into K. Corp and worked on a super evil singularity who cried tears of healing magic when people DIED. He was EVIL because he was SAD and BROKEN.
Dongrang is someone who has gone numb to the things around him. His voice is medium in pitch, and he always carries this lighthearted tone with him that makes him aloof to what goes on around him. Even with the deaths of others around him, he's kinda just chill with it. It is only when he's forced to face the past he buried that he releases those things pent up within him (line 3 you voice!). When voicing him, make sure to remember his aloof positivity! Good luck farmers!

"Yi... Sang...They sparkled. As brightly... as your wings. I've... always yearned to...Escape the shadows of the League...In the end... it is that same shadow... that embraces me after everything."
You breathed on me? That's going in the book of vengeance, buddy.
Ricardo is a Big Brother of the Middle. That means he's big. He's big, he's aggressive, he's passionate about what he loves. He holds his code of honor close to him and anyone who dare fuck around is GOING to find out what the Middle can do!!!
Ricardo's voice is medium in pitch with a lot of gruff in it. He's passionate. Very passionate. Get that gruffness in there and get that passion in there and you will be prime Ricardo Big Brother of the Middle material.

"Thought you were out there, fishing... What, you think you're some hot shit now that they made you a Color? Just because you hunted the Marlin Whale? Are you challenging the Middle to a hunt like we're some Whale? That it?"
Ahab is genuinely the most insane woman ever voiced in Limbus Company. Every word she utters holds such utter mental instability laced within every word that I applaud the voice actress for unleashing every barricade stuffed in her brain to voice this masterpiece of a character.
Ahab is just insane. I don't know how to say it. Blinded by her obsession to kill the Whale, she has driven everything she has towards the Whale's death, sacrificing an entire crew and more just to ensure that the whale meets its untimely end. It has grown to such hellish desire that she has completely lost her mind. Her insanity has driven such charisma to flow, such unabashed confidence in her ability to slaughter the wretched beast which took everything from her, that she is able to convince others to follow her footsteps. They get slaughtered in the process.
Ahab has a medium voice with a LOT of gruff. Yet, somehow, every word she utters reeks of charisma gathered from sheer confidence. Not the confididence of one blinded by their own ability, but rather the confidence of someone hellbent to a goal. That steadfast determination reeks through her, igniting her, leading her unrelenting creed. When voicing her, make absolute sure to embed in yourself an unwavering resolve. That is crucial. Set sail, and CHA MAGANERA!!!

"You... You should have killed me...I should have been the one to kill the Whale...!"

Catherine is a tragic character. She had to erase herself from every existence ever within the multiverse of Limbus Company as to ensure Heathcliff may find peace. She's someone who was determined to find a way to fix it—that relationship, that pain caused. However, she's British.
Catherine's voice is of medium pitch. I'd call her rather soft-spoken, but not terribly so. She's not brash but not whispery either. However, she's British. You will see this with Nelly too. The Britishness cannot be avoided. However, she's more of a posh British than the Cockney accent Heathcliff has. Be British. Thank you!
Wait... who are we talking about? I don't... I don't remember... who is ████?

Nelly is a caregiver. A provider. A maid. She was the one to care for Heathcliff during his time at Wuthering Heights, and she was the one who also fucked everything up in the end, so go her I guess Wuthering Heights cannot be stopped.
Nelly's voice is that of a caregiver with a medium-low pitch. She's patient, she's caring, she worries and fusses like she would to a son (Heathcliff). She has that motherly softness, and... you guessed it, she's BRITISH! Same as Catherine, she is more of a posh British in my eyes. Make sure that she's British. British nanny.

"Yes. And Miss Catherine...... wrote your name into her will."
SANCHO! I HAVE CONCEIVED A VOICE GUIDE MOST INGENIOUS!
Don Quixote (Papa) is the biggest Canto 7 spoiler to date and I feel kinda bad about it. Read at your own risk.
Don Quixote is the ultimate First Kindred of the Bloodfiends, father of Sancho, and leader of a most marvelous Family. His intentions were to protect those he holds dear by secluding them away. He's a man of nobility and grace, one who embraces the dramatics of royalty to a tee.
His voice is medium in pitch with maturity thickly added onto it. His wisdom is reflected in his years; his speech is refined, dignified, and elegant. He holds a composure that does not slip, a treasure for his Kindred that does not waver, and a determination—once brimming, now fleeting. His emotions are tricky. He holds himself together, yet his pain bleeds through in the later lines. Make sure to truly feel Don Quixote in your soul when voicing him! He needs the PASSION!

"Sancho. I have conceived an idea most ingenious. I intend to take part in the Bloodfiend War. Indeed. I shall stand with the humans. ... Odd. You sound rather... unsurprised by my suggestion. Did you know that I would suggest as such?"
"You have finally returned to me, my Sancho. What joyous day this is... to have all my Children by my side, once again. Have you said your greetings? You do not know how much we all longed to see you again, Sancho..."
"My name... Is Quixote! I, Don Quixote, Declare upon my honor!: This lance shall end that hollow, juvenile dream!"
What would you do if you were raised to fight in this grand scheming war against your brothers and sisters to rule over your country as royalty? Develop a superiority complex, obviously. Xichun maintains an aura of superiority over those she talks to, oftentimes looking down at people (metaphorically. She's usually looking up) and with pride laden in her tone. Her emotions are thick, even if she tries to mask them as a superior figure. She will oftentimes attempt to act nonchalant and cool, but be completely chalant in the process. Basically, immature and trying to hold her own against the harsh reality of the world.

"Y-y-yo-you bastards...! Would it kill you to go a single second without ruining my day?!!! You're all like a family of bedbugs I can't get rid of, you know that?!!! I'm gonna make you throw up everything you ate today, you assholes!!!"
Lei Heng is one cocky bastard. He's a Capo of the Thumb—high in respect, high in power, and damn sure that if you disrespect him, you'll pay the price. His voice reflects that. He's haughty, he's boastful, and he's got one HELL of a southern drawl. He's about medium, medium-low in pitch, with a bit of gruff on top of that southernness that defines how literally everyone reads his lines. Hwelp, good luck to y'all! Yer gonna need it!

Answer me, Jia Baoyu. What does Limbus Enterprise need?
Canto 8 spoilers. Read at your own risk.
Jia Qiu, the last remnant of the Kong family. He went on a most wonderful expedition, learning of the world and learning to reign, control, and ultimately conquer his emotions to reach a peace unseen by most. How does he not have EGO? Not that it matters, his 5 rings of Mang make for a mindblowing demonstration.
Jia Qiu's voice is low. He's a wise man, having spent his time travelling the City to learn. He is patient and he is calm. Even in his anger towards Jia Baoyu, he remains steadfast in his ideals, only breaking to push Jia Baoyu to reach into his heart. Imagine yourself a stone pillar in the tides of water. That is Jia Qiu. He is a stone; unshakeable, unmovable. One not bound by familial ties, but only ignited by his desire to learn.
