Limbus Company JP Dub - Canto I + Hong Lu Recast
Project Overview
RimbusDubs is a Japanese Fandub project of the Korean Indie Gacha Game Limbus Company. The project will cover all the cantos and intervallos, new and old ID/E.G.Os, new release highlights, and occasionally original contents too, like the video above, where our Gregor walked you through the requirements below :D
Our Hong Lu VA has also decided to step down from their role, and so I am also looking to recast for the role.
RequirementsYou don't speak a lick of Japanese? No problem! I am mainly looking for vibe match first and foremost, and I will provide guides and/or feedback along the way.
But a convincing delivery is still an important aspect, and so do try to mimic the guides as much as you can (for this casting call, check JP Guide for pronunciations, check KR for vibes)
Similarly, no prior knowledge of the game is required. Though it may be more fun to voice act a character that you know about so perhaps you can give the game a try? (#notsponsored)
Anything listed as MAIN or LEAD Role has or will have A LOT of lines. Please only audition for these if you are able to commit for long-term.
While life happens and extensions within reason are possible, please keep communication going.
Also note that I may request several retakes on occasions.
For those who prefer less commitment, or just want to get their feet wet to start with, I would recommend trying for Minor Role first.
There is a discord server for the project that will be shared at the end of the casting call. However, if you are interested to join ahead of time, feel free to DM me.
Those who have been casted can also apply for any of the roles listed, no restrictions for now. You can be double casted for the roles here, and well as be casted still for future lead/major roles, so don't worry about being stuck to one role :D

[MAIN ROLE]
As one of the main sinners, please be prepared to commit long-term.
Hong Lu (Mandarin: 鴻璐; 鸿璐, Pinyin: Hóng lù; Hangul: 홍루, hong-ru) is designated Sinner #6 of Limbus Company's LCB department.
Voice description: Medium-high with a somewhat soft quality to it. Speaks with a perpetual smile, but he also sounds like he doesn't put much weight behind his words, both good and bad. Also comes off from a very sheltered life and can accidentally offend others due to ignorance.
His past trauma leads him to believe being neutral about everything is best.

Yuri (Hangul: 유리, Yu-ri) is a Grade 8 Fixer and former employee of Lobotomy Corporation. She is a major character in Canto I: The Outcast.
Voice description: Somewhat soft with a sweet tone. Has gone through a lot in the past, and for the most part of the story speaks in a timid, hesitant way.

Gubo (Hangul: 구보, gu-bo) is an overarching antagonist introduced in Canto I: The Outcast and a newcoming member of the new League of Nine Littérateurs.
Voice description: Medium-low masc voice. A bit on the gruff side, but speaks in a somewhat poetic manner, both in choice of word and the delivery.

Voice description: Alluring, deceivingly kind yet very cold and ruthless.

The cause of it all. Several parts of the story is told in her perspective, and so she has a number of narrating lines. When she is not narrating, she whispers sweet devils into your ears that will make you literally distort.
