Light Danganronpa Misfortune: Session 2 OFFICIAL Casting
Project Overview
Light Danganronpa Misfortune is an audio series that currently consist of two seasons titled "Session 1" and "Session 2". Currently, Session 1 holds a prologue, and ch1 is being fully edited along with its future chapters being planned and scripted to their entirety, with ch2 already in written development. For session 2, sprites are fully finished and work on the prologue scripting has wrapped up. Ch1 is currently being scripted. Voice work starts almost immediately so please audition with a constant workload in mind.
For those worried about things like burnout and such, the project is co-directed by RuiRui Shrimpy and Lucia Manami to prevent a long hiatus or frequent breaks in development meaning that we are moving at the perfect pace for what is in store. Sessions 1 and 2 will be worked on alongside each other to hopefully form close team bonds and prevent a long wait for session 2 after the entirety of Session 1 has been released. We have also formed a team of video editors to spread the workload.
This project contains depictions of death, violence, and other mature topics, Due to the nature of this project, VA's selected must be of age 16 or older to be considered. All characters, places, and plot lines are fictional, any resemblance to real life people, places, or events is purely circumstantial and not to be taken as a source of inspiration. Auditions should clearly state your name, age, equipment, email, discord handle, aswell as an optional portfolio showcasing your previous works. An AAABBBCCC format is requested, but not required.
A portion of the art in this casting call is not official and is to be disregarded when considering the art assets being used for session 2. A better word to use as a summary for that is placeholder.
The Light Danganronpa Misfortune Duology is not affiliated with Spike Chunsoft, Danganronpa or any other official titles under that name.

The manager seemed to be a rather interesting individual from the start of the booking process. She sports a really loud voice that almost sounds commanding. She's really the leader type, quick with her words and really portray's what she wants to say when she says it. Her tone is rather loud and erratic some of the time, with a medium pitch to it. very raspy as well. I like it, its unique.
Dr. Mikaru's Notes: She is head strong, I'd hate to see someone like her perish to the killing game.
[Demanding, Defensive] I'm NOT struggling through this!! YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO ME!! I have men in every district of japan that can get you for this! Release ME!!!

The Creator wasn't really struggling to coperate with Dr. Gusaru Durring the booking process. While looking very social, he has a soft spoken voice that doesn't really fill the room much. I had to sit beside him During his interview as he was surprisingly scared to sit by himself. He has a relatively Mid-low Pitched voice. *Please try to have a slight German accent*
Dr. Mikaru's Notes: Heartbreak is one thing, absolutely doomed people are the other. I'm sorry, I just can't give him my absolute faith of surviving.
(Soft spoken, airy, apologetic) I-I'm sorry, I'm not used to this a-attention...really sorry.
(Scared untertone) I-i don't know where we are...this is scary Hagemi.
(Airy, Curious) What could have caused the shot put ball to roll down the shelves in that exact pattern?

The Tactitian is a very smart individual who was wary durring the booking process. He was on our radar for session one, but we opted for the Rouge instead. Not much else to say about him. he was pretty easy to interview. He has a Mid pitched Masculine voice that is really soothing
Dr. Mikaru's Notes: Head strong people like him seem to strive in the killing game as seen in session one. I have my expectations set high
(Explaning) Logically thinking, its a nine out of ten chance that you doctors get caught commiting these kidnappings.
(Confused, trying to make sense of the situation) Whoa whoa whoa, wait up...you mean to tell me that we're being held hostage by a d-demon out of all things?
(Comforting, explaning)It will be okay, the games cant continue like this anyways. half of the student body is down.

The Dancer is really really brash. He doesn't think at all i'd assume. Big strong guy with a deep voice and really scary aura. if someone on the street asked me what he did for a living, I'd think he was an assassin or something...yeah. He supposedly was the boyfriend of the Influencer in session one? Makes a bit of sense with his sassy undertone.
Dr. Mikaru's Notes: Im pretty sure he's going to murder someone.
(Pissed-offf, irritated, annoyed) Hurry up bro, don't waste my got damn time. I've already been here long enough so just stop stalling!
(Trying to calm Down, unsteady breathing) J-just...wait. here. I'm done with this searching stuff, i'll go confront that thing myself.
(Confused) What do you mean? I'm like...so confused right now.

The Tobakushi is relatively normal I guess. She doesn't strike as weird in any way and she even complied during the booking process. Overall just the average student as far as I see. these type of students normally do have darker sides, but I have faith in her to at least be somewhat as calm as she was during her interview. She has a normal mid pitched female voice with a bit of a rasp I guess.

The Linguist is really rude and really (not to be so blunt, but) bitchy. I really had a hard time finishing this interview actually. I started to tune out when she was making these niche comments on me being an NPC. During the booking process, she apparently harassed Dr. Gusaru In an attempt to escape. I really didnt enjoy her much. She has a really high pitched voice that gives off mean girl vibes. I honestly don't know how I didn't see it at first that she would be like this.
Dr. Mikaru's Notes: Now, Iwase may not like her, but I enjoy her a great amount. Shes a rather great source entertainment for my boredom, I'll enjoy her time this session.
(Evil Chuckling, judging, Bitchy) Heheheheeheheehe! Ohhhhhhhh you want to question ME? OH ho HO! Dont- even try me! YOU LOOK LIKE A RANDOM NPC ADDED TO MY WORLD SO THE TEXTURES DONT MESS UP WHEN IM NOT AROUUND! To dumb that down for you, a pointless BITCH!

The Chemist wasn't really a talker. She would answer my questions quickly with a tone that made it seem like she was almost annoyed with me. I already knew she was though. Durring the booking process, I was told she didn't even say a single word. She has a voice that if I wasn't t paying attention to her face, it would be hard to tell if it was a boy or a girl. really netral toned and down to earth.
Dr. Mikaru's Notes: Hmm...she seems a lot like the Rogue. Maybe they knew each other.
(Calculated, Seemingly annoyed) Yeah, then go ahead and tell me my information so I can be done. I'm really through with this.
(Annoyed) I'm not trying to avoid anyone here, its just safer in my room right now.

The Agent's interview was cut short due to their nature of attacking people. the booking process went by smooth as far as I'm concerned though. Not much to note about there voice except its really strange and almost robotic.

The Gunsman is actually really nice to talk to. feels like a buddy I would have back at home. Maybe talk to over a cold bottle of sake. He was really cunning durring his interview, almost making me slip into telling him about the place he was going. He's from the west so his Japanese Is a bit sloppy, and the booking process was really long. He has a southern accent and a low-mid smooth voice.
Dr. Mikaru's Notes:He seems like a great kid I guess. He's western as well, that's cool.
(On guard, focused) Your're just going to interview me? If so, don't try anything sketchy, I ain't want nothin' to do with that.
(Neutral, Relaxed) I don't Mind that. Nobody's gonna try any of that shit so I'm fine.

The Debater seems a little to optimistic. durring her interview, she was really chipper and not almost in denial that she was in a place she didn't know. I think she was already in Jiyouka when the booking process when Dr. Gusaru came to collect her. She's really cheery and happy all of the time, it reminds me of Dr. Shinamiya. I feel like she'll become a nervous wreck in the correct situations maybe. Her voice is a Mid-to high pitch, depending on the situation shes in.
Dr. Mikaru's Notes: She's just like Dr. Yuki! This will be rather fun to watch.
(Nervous, Concerned, Trying to stay upbeat) Okay! Mr. Interviewer man, shoot your questions!
(Shocked, startled) Ah-! I-i-i'm so sorry! I-s-shouldn't have walked in on you! I'l u-uh...j-just l-leave! Im so sorry Mr. Burke!

The Omnyoji is not my type of person. I normally don't like people like this and he is no exeption. Durring the booking process, he was coperative and really listend to Dr.Gusaru, but he was mocking me and really rude in general. I can't stress how much I don't like him. He has a mid pitched voice that heightens in tone when he laughs or starts to joke.

The Ohajiki Player is a really interesting individual. I like the vibe they have going on, they feel like a fictional anime fantasy character and their British accent really complements their voice.I cant really tell their gender apart from their voice being a bit masculine.

The Live streamer is really really animated. Often being a bit happy at times that it gets hard to keep them on track. The booking process was almost similar to the interview with them bringing up so many things that at times it was really stressing to listen to. They have a voice that reminds me of the idol from session one, but as a boy if that makes sense.

Chrosalis is the secondary host for session 2, a replacement for Mutali. This bird was selected by shijio to co host the second session. I really like it a lot, its nice and talks with almost a monotone child like voice. It makes sure not to convey any emotions while talking to the students. Its voice is slightly robotic sounding, but not to cliche on the whole robot thing.
