Project Overview
Pahina — A Minecraft Cinematic Story
Pahina is a short cinematic Minecraft animation inspired by Cup of Joe’s song of the same name. The story follows Lyra and Leon, two people who once shared a meaningful relationship but eventually became separated.
The animation focuses on memories, nostalgia, regret, and an unfinished goodbye. Rather than telling the story entirely through dialogue, the visuals will follow the emotions of the song — showing the characters' happier moments together, the gradual distance between them, and Lyra and Leon looking back on the memories they can no longer return to.
The concept uses the idea of a “page” or “chapter” as a metaphor for their relationship. Their story may have ended, but the memories remain, causing the characters to repeatedly look back at the moments they once shared.
The Minecraft world will be used as a cinematic environment, with carefully composed shots, character animation, lighting, camera movement, and environmental storytelling to create an emotional short film that feels like a visual interpretation of the song.
Genre: Romance / Drama / Nostalgia
Format: Minecraft Cinematic Animation
Main Characters: Lyra & Leon
Theme: Love, memories, separation, regret, and an unfinished chapter
Music: Pahina — Cup of Joe
Role: Lyra — Female Lead
Lyra is a young woman whose story is told through memories, emotions, and moments connected to someone she deeply cares about. She is gentle and sincere, but carries a quiet sense of longing and sadness as she looks back on what they once shared.
The voice performance should feel natural, soft, and emotionally genuine, rather than overly dramatic. The role only requires approximately 1–2 lines, performed for specific scenes in the animation.
I still remember the day we first met… like it was only yesterday
I thought we’d have more time together.
Even if you’re no longer here, a part of me will always remember you.
Role: Leon — Male Lead
Leon is a calm and caring young man who shares a meaningful connection with Lyra. He tends to keep his emotions to himself, but his words reveal how deeply he values the memories and moments they shared. His voice should feel warm, natural, and sincere, with a subtle emotional tone rather than being overly dramatic.
If I could turn back time, I’d choose to stay a little longer.
You made even the simplest moments feel like something worth remembering.
Whatever happens next, I hope you know that I never forgot you.
