Crossover, a place where any and every creature can live in a society that fits their needs and are split into factions based on those needs. This world is filled with wonder and magic and is safe from the cruelest of realms.
But when one of the Titan’s overseeing Crossover rebels on helping the creatures, a newcomer by the name of Melancholy, a young human, has to rise up to stop them. But with Melancholy being the first of their kind to gain entrance to Crossover, it's going to be a challenge….
Crossover is a franchise created by CorvidBlack Studios as a long-term passion project made by Cyanidehowl. The story contains five storylines that consists of different medias like shows, books, etc. But as of now our goal is to release shorts to gain traction so we can start doing official releases!
Storylines:
Crossover: Awakening - Ronnie (Melancholy/Compassion) is a fifteen year old human who has been cursed upon birth, the spell only now making itself known to them and unfortunately their peers. With this new revelation, friends and peers of them alike grew distant or used this against them; thus the ending to Ronnie’s life to escape the torment ended in tragedy. Despite Ronnie appearing at death’s gate, they find themselves presented with the chance to live life once more with the help of beings outside of what they’ve known their whole life. This leads them on a lifetime adventure as they travel through a whole new realm with the task to fulfill a prophecy to protect the creatures in Crossover that has shook them all to their cores as well as finding the other eleven creatures required to fulfill it.
Crossover: Atoning - After the death of Ronnie, Ronnie’s ‘friends’, acquaintances, and peers are left with the bitter taste of sorrow in their mouths with the news spreading across the city. One particular girl named Mabel, despite her lack of involvement in Ronnie’s life, has been reflecting on herself because of this incident. One day, while she was home alone with her thoughts, she is approached by a mythical creature who presents himself as a spirit advisor that can help with Mabel’s internal struggle and growth, but only in exchange for Mabel’s own assistance. When Mabel accepts this proposal, she finds herself, and a few of her friends and peers, in a very inconceivable situation that she has no idea how she even got herself into.
Crossover: Homecoming - All the way deep within The Human Realm, in a city called San Diego, there is a family holding a clowder together; not knowing that their lives are about to change forever when a small golden-brown kitten from their clowder is born. Flurry, the newest family member of the family’s clowder, is a young feline with strong senses, extreme curiosity and is WAY more intelligent than all the other animals (maybe more then humans as well) in his area; making him more human like then all of those other animals. Thus making him an outcast by not only his sentient nature, but also due to his shy nature. After the death of his brother, Owl, he encounters a spirit from Crossover named Honeymoon who is trapped in The Human Realm. Together, the two form a bond like no other as Honeymoon learns about Flurry’s home realm and Flurry learns about Honeymoon’s home realm, the younger feline not knowing what their strange friendship will bring him in the future.
Crossover: Unifying - Existence is the home to quite a few realms, these realms have shaped Existence to what it is today and it wouldn’t be Existence without them. The realms of Existence have always minded their own business and agreed that whatever happens in their realm, stays in their realm. But as of recent years, a surprising turn of events from The Human Realm and the creation of The Crossover Realm, has made it so the other realms can’t exactly ‘stay out’ each other’s business when prophecies and outside forces have been tipping the balance of Existence. So finally, the other realms decide to make a presence in this tale.
Crossover: Origins - All stories have a beginning and this story is not an expectation. As we learn how Existence was made and the origins of the Celestial Beings up above; we also follow a young girl by the name of Kaia who has been granted the power of creation and life, one of the strongest magic you can ever have in Existence. From there we learn the true history of Crossover; how the realm was created, the stories that came after her disappearance, and the events prior and during the Hundred Year War with the aftermath following right after.

Hawkfrost is one of the major main characters in Crossover.
"When it comes to needing a keen eye for things, Hawkfrost is the first one to call. From being an underdog since the day he was born to High Ranked Detective of Bloodmaw, earning the title of ‘High Ranked’ is no easy feat for any creature in their faction, much less for someone who came from The Human Realm. But with persistence he managed to fight tooth and claw to earn it...."
Hawkfrost is described to be a very quiet person and melancholic person at times. His voice coming off usually soft, light and smooth like you're listening to a lullaby. Although he can be a bit more expressive at times if he's really interested in something, speaking fast and seeming energetic. (Bonus points if you can sing but it's not required)

Ascendance is one of the major main characters in Crossover.
"Always presented with a smile on her face, Ascendance's presence immediately lights up the room without a moment of hesitation. As the High Ranked Rumpire of Celestial Skies, it is her duty to de-escalate any situation and pacify the crowds before it turns to into discord. Without a doubt her outgoing and powerful form proves she does her job well and spread joy to everyone."
Ascendance is described to be a very uplifting person with somehow always ALWAYS a smile on her face. While her voice isn't very high or low pitched, more in the middle, it comes off as bright, smooth, and sometimes very relaxed. A lot of her mannerisms are very proper, polite and formal, but also very expressive energetic and fast.

Mabel is one of the main characters in Crossover.
"When push comes to shove, Mabel takes the reins and makes sure that everything is in line and under control even in chaotic circumstances. She is a strong leader, willing to push through any obstacle with her team to reach the goal; but, she is also a more strategic type of gal, her decisions coming from logic rather than heartfelt choices which can prove to be a fatal flaw when it comes to motivating others. Despite her aggression, stubbornness, and hot-headed temper, she always strives to make things right when she comes to terms with being in the wrong."
Mabel is described to be a very serious and strong person. Her voice isn't too high but isn't too low and can be very strong, controlled and a bit gravelly. At times though it can be a bit breathy, shaky, and nasally if she overworks herself.

Lucy is one of the main characters in Crossover.
"A chaotic and adaptable teenager easily takes the stage and presents herself with such boldness that it's almost hard to ignore. Lucy is a rambunctious but clever girl that loves using her intelligence for the greater good or to stir up trouble which can end up with weird consequences. Despite being the living embodiment of a racoon she is extremely loyal and will do anything for her friends if any harm comes their way."
Lucy is described as a very outgoing and energetic person. Her voice may come off as rough, relaxed and a bit heavy at times due to her tom-boyish attitude. She's also really expressive, authoritative, and casual in her mannerisms.

Louis is one of the main characters in Crossover.
"With a few heavy steps in this bears path, he claws away at anybody that wants to harm him and his family. Despite his appearance, Louis is a boy with a heart of gold, always wanting to keep the peace between his peers and always protect them when danger comes. Although being strong, he can be a bit of a pushover never wanting to push his strength in fear of using it in poor fashion or hurting others as, to him, violence is never the answer."
Louis is described to essentially just be a huge teddy bear. His voice while a bit rough, heavy, and low; is actually very clear and soft. He is a more polite, proper and humble person when it comes to his mannerisms.

Esther is one of the main characters in Crossover.
"Opposing her dark coat, Esther is a bright young feline always looking forward to new experiences and willing to stand up to anyone that dares to do wrong. With her tall, muscular figure, she is brutal in combat, imposing, and terrifying, but despite all that she refuses to lift her paw always trying to protect the things she loves in other ways...even if she's a bit of an airhead."
Esther is described to be a very energetic and powerful person. Her voice is a bit on the higher-pitched side but still keeping a strong, bright, and light quality to it. She can be really loud, expressive and fast at times in her mannerisms but can fall into a bit of a rough territory.

Elliot is one of the main characters in Crossover.
"Born in his reflection, Elliott seems to despise everyone and everything, being the brains between him and his sister Esther. While he is witty, sharp, and bright to an extent, his cold demeanor sets him back big time. He always seems to be in a bad mood, sarcastic, and haughty, almost like he doesn't seem to care about other people outside of his circle."
Elliot is described to be a cold and reserved person. His way of talking comes across as soft, light, and a bit smooth, similar to his older brother Hawkfrost. But, his voice is a lot more dull and the mannerisms he has is more monotone, formal, and quiet.

Blyss is one of the main characters in Crossover.
"At first glance with her cat-like pigtails she seems sweet and cutesy, but that kind facade of hers goes down the window when stuff goes down. Blyss is a clever and a trickster type of person, her main mask being that feminine and sugary persona to hide how she views the world. Despite all of that she has her values and morals, and one thing she holds strongly to is her love for animals, feeling a stronger connection to them then she ever did with her peers."
Blyss is described to be a silent but kind of 'deadly'/'cunning' person. While her voice isn't very high or too low in pitch, her voice comes off as smooth, light, and soft. Her mannerisms are very proper and formal, but sometimes can be a bit vulgar too.

"After the bloodshed; to remedy a mistake made by the divinities, Revivine was chosen as the next leader for Existence's Spirit Advisors. Revivine is a creature of words and with a booming voice, doing everything in his power to not jeopardize or cause destruction towards his fellow divinities which causes him to uphold his values quite high. But when a new situation spawning in The Human Realm, it challenges him and his values. "
Revivine is described to be a commanding but kind of definitive' person. His voice is low as well as being rough, strong, and heavy. His mannerisms consists of him being more authoritative, formal, and loud thanks to his leadership status.

"Blushcomb is one of the oldest creatures ever to live in Crossover. Blushcomb is a practically a sweetheart, trying to spread hope through out Crossover. Despite her soft spoken voice, she is confident in herself and finds the will to live on and on for her ancestors that have been slaughtered despite their innocence. She is one of the most aware creatures in the group and is like a big sister to some of them. She records everything that has happened in Crossover, to the leaders, to the war, and to the Twelve Strikes prophecy."
Blushcomb is described to be a warm but kind of comforting person. Her voice is isn't too low or too high but is soft, bright, and light. Her mannerisms when it comes to talking is very polite, formal, and humble with how she was raised..

Sloth is one of the main characters in Crossover.
"A blessing or a curse? No cat truly knows. But Sloth makes their future visions dabble in both. Sloth is known to be a neutral type of cat, always trying to stray away from trouble and just get through life. They are known to be silent, not trying to contribute to anything unless directly dragged into. But once something peeks their interest they will do nothing to stop to cure that curiosity."
Sloth is described to be a gloomy and can be silent at times. Their voice coming off usually soft, light and a bit dull. When it comes to talking their mannerisms come across as polite, formal, monotone, and a bit slow at times.
