Let's Live Voice Act Pokémon Rejuvenation 3RD CASTING
Project Overview
Heya! I'm Phillip Le, aka HorizonVA, and I've been doing a Let's Play Series of the Fan Game Pokémon Rejuvenation on my YouTube and Twitch channels, where I voice all the characters. The story of this game is so gosh darn good, I figured we could do it justice with an actual ensemble cast! This is the THIRD CASTING of the project for chapters 4-5.

I can't guarantee everything will be a smooth process. Scheduling Live Sessions can be a hassle, and re-recording is in order if something goes wrong. Please be responsive and timely.

What is Pokémon Rejuvenation?
Pokémon Rejuvenation is a 10 years in the making Fan Game created by Jan and developed by The Rejuvenation Team on RPGMaker XP. To sell you the game, it is essentially a Pokémon game with deep characters akin to modern JRPGs like modern Final Fantasy and Tales of Series. The game also features 18 badges to collect and an entirely new region to explore, a truly globe-trotting experience.
The Goal
I want to introduce Pokémon Rejuvenation to more people! On top of being a fan game, the game itself can be quite difficult at times, both of which can deter people from playing it. I want to create a new way to experience the game's story with voice acting.
Cast members who haven't played the game will especially be able to experience it for the first time in an immersive way. You who have clicked on this audition page have, in a way, also helped me accomplish my goal!
What will the project be like?
We will begin an entirely new playthrough on the latest V14 update of the game, from the beginning.
Everyone will be on the same call on the dedicated Discord server I had created while the designated pro gamer is playing through the game as normal. As our gamer is going through the game, we'll voice our character dialogues as well as take turns with NPCs. We're sticking pretty close to the script, but in-character ad-libs are welcome.
After a session, I'll take the voice recording and the gameplay recording to edit down an episode for the series to be uploaded on my YouTube Channel.
Audition Requirements
Please be 17+
Have decent internet and Discord
Good mic quality (I'll ear test)
Submit at least 2 takes per line in any format you'd like
Have fun with your characters! They've never had a voice before, so you should really make them feel like your own. All interpretations welcomed.
I want to give a special shout-out to 8kaijme, Lenny Le, and HeatVA for the original inspiration for a project like this.
Voice Actor
The Primary Antagonist of the story. Her motives are unclear, but she's cruel and seems to be seeking out the death of as many people as possible. She seems to have taken an interest in the Protagonist for their continuous interference and is after Melia for something only she has.
Madame X is a cold and calculated person, planning ahead and maintaining full control and composure even when the odds may seem stacked against her as well as not caring much about the people around her. Despite all this, she seems somewhat sympathetic towards those in captivity, as she claims she does not like imprisoning others and even appears to be somewhat remorseful knowing of the pain and suffering her name alone has brought. She's also shown to be quite impulsive, as seen when she rushes headfirst into a trap without a second thought.

Voice Actor
Mosely is an orphan first introduced in Goldenleaf Town, where she's being threatened by the townsfolk for stealing. She tends to steal to provide for the orphans living with her at the Lost Camp.
Mosely is an energetic, fun-loving, child with a wild imagination. She is someone who treats others kindly but will retaliate against those that treat her or her friends poorly. She's also quite mischievous.
Mosely can be headstrong and impulsive when she has her mind set on something but, she is not above doing what she believes is morally right even if she does not get her way. Mosely is a free spirit who is at her best when she can explore her surroundings and enjoy spending time with others without needing to be serious.

Voice Actor
Adam is the region's Rock-type gym leader. He's first introduced while imprisoned at Blacksteeple Castle. He is 26 Years Old
Adam is a pessimistic introvert who’s quite physically capable. He’s aware he is more brawn than brain, so Adam is always thinking about ways to protect his friends from danger. He’s also a diligent person who isn’t easily broken. Due to this, he always reassures his friends that there’ll always be another solution to a problem.

Voice Actor
The head of the Akuwa Town Aquarium and a water performer, Valarie is the region's Water-type Gym Leader. She is 25.
She’s usually reserved, but when one of her favorite things is mentioned, such as tempura, she becomes extremely bubbly.
She also has a good read on people and catches on if someone isn’t being honest about themselves.
