LEGO Star Wars: Rebel Commando
Project Overview
Hi there!
I'm currently in the process of animating my most ambitious LEGO project to date. It's a star wars story, with a small number of rebel's carrying out an Endor-esque infiltration to disable a planetary shield. The stop-motion combat is also combined with digitally animated space-battles, lip-synced characters and there might even be a cheeky droid or two thrown in there! I'm trying my best to recreate the feel of the original trilogy in terms of story, pace and light-heartedness!
Each character is lip-synced (in a similar way to this unrelated video I made a while ago - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pq3PPFyzwQA) - which gives them more personality than a standard-lego figure with photoshopped lips.
I'm unable to offer payment for this project, although I'm happy to create a 30 second clip of your character with your voice explaining that you've just appeared in a lego video - for you to upload to your own facebook/youtube/website.
The final Star Wars video will be uploaded to my Youtube channel.
Due to the nature of the lip-syncing software, I need you to have a reasonable-quality mic.
After auditions close, I'll send out the scripts to those chosen - please send me the audio files back within a week of recieveing them.

The Imperial Technicians are a small role (possibly just these three lines!). The last line is said by a different technician to the first two, but should speak in a similar way so it makes sense for the same person to voice act it!

(Similar but slightly deeper and more menacing voice) "I'll deal with you when I get back..."
