Once honored defenders of Shurima against the Void, Aatrox and his brethren would eventually become an even greater threat to Runeterra and were defeated only by cunning mortal sorcery. But after centuries of imprisonment, Aatrox was the first to find freedom once more, corrupting and transforming those foolish enough to try and wield the magical weapon that contained his essence. Now with stolen flesh, he walks Runeterra in a brutal approximation of his previous form, seeking an apocalyptic and long overdue vengeance. Before the Darkin War, Aatrox was a great champion and the vanguard of all noble conflicts. He was noble and loyal to the Shuriman Empire and didn't hesitate to help his fellow Ascended in battle. His conduct was true and just and as such he could easily rally troops behind him. The Void War deeply traumatized most ascended such as Aatrox. He would start having a more bleak view of the world, seeing no point in its further existence. He had a deep mistrust of others as well as hated everyone that has wronged him. These tendencies would be kept in check until the Fall of Shurima. His ruthlessness and anger were infamous even amongst other Darkin. This reputation would lead to his eventual imprisonment by the Aspects. His mind further deteriorated during unknown periods trapped in his sword prison. During periods when he could take control of hosts, he would ruthlessly and with no hesitation take control of their bodies until they were beyond use. His ultimate goal is to plunge Runeterra into oblivion so that he could have a chance of finally dying.
Now, hear the silence of annihilation!
Pantheon, I see you! Like a lamprey you attach yourself to a host! I will carve you from this mortal's form, and eviscerate you both!
They think me defeated, enchained. But I am unbowed... Noble is this carnage.
Innately connected to the magic of the spirit realm, Ahri is a mysterious fox-like vastaya in search of her place in the world. Having become a somewhat reluctant and empathetic predator since entering mortal society, she prefers to manipulate her prey's emotions before partaking in their life essence—receiving flashes of memory and insight from each soul she consumes. Ahri started as a very savage and impulsive person. Growing up in the wild, she little would know about social behavior. As she would become drunk on devouring souls, she started to become an empathic and reluctant person. She would have many regrets in her life, most by killing a former lover. Although she would want to forget about those she killed, she ultimately decided not to, as she would find oblivion much worse. With time, Ahri became determined to find out more about her past and would travel the whole country looking for answers, even if would take her outside of Ionia. She is very smart and keen, able to get herself out of harmful situations. She is also a very capable detective thanks to her memory absorption ability. Although she remains moody and impulsive sometimes, she became patient with age and was able to empathize even with those who would harm her.
Don't you trust me?
Should I make your pulse rise? Or... stop!" *Giggles*
If you'd like to play with me, you'd better be sure you know the game.
Abandoning the Kinkou Order and her title of the Fist of Shadow, Akali now strikes alone, ready to be the deadly weapon her people need. Though she holds onto all she learned from her master Shen, she has pledged to defend Ionia from its enemies, one kill at a time. Akali may strike in silence, but her message will be heard loud and clear: fear the assassin with no master.
Fear the assassin with no master.
The words on their tombstones will be my new mantras.
The rules hold you back, leave 'em for someone who needs 'em.
Raising an eyebrow in the face of danger, Akshan fights evil with dashing charisma, righteous vengeance, and a conspicuous lack of shirts. He is highly skilled in the art of stealth combat, able to evade the eyes of his enemies and reappear when they least expect him. With a keen sense of justice and a legendary death-reversing weapon, he rights the wrongs of Runeterra's many scoundrels while living by his moral code: "Don't be an ass."
Fixing the world, one scoundrel at a time!
Shadya would approve of this. I think. You could never tell with her.
What else can I add to this gun? Maybe a shovel. No-a ladder!
Always a mighty warrior with a fearsome reputation, Alistar seeks revenge for the death of his clan at the hands of the Noxian empire. Though he was enslaved and forced into the life of a gladiator, his unbreakable will was what kept him from truly becoming a beast. Now, free of the chains of his former masters, he fights in the name of the downtrodden and the disadvantaged, his rage as much a weapon as his horns, hooves, and fists. Alistar is a fighter, and his goal is to fight against Noxus in the name of all he has lost and all those that have lost much too. He is angry, wanting Noxus to fall and inciting rebellion in Noxuian territories. Despite this, Alistar has a kind heart and is intent on finding Ayelia at all costs, as she was one of the few people who showed kindness to him.
Nothing can hold me back!
Now I'm angry.
Mess with the bull and you get the horns!
Legend claims that Amumu is a lonely and melancholy soul from ancient Shurima, roaming the world in search of a friend. Doomed by an ancient curse to remain alone forever, his touch is death, his affection ruin. Those who claim to have seen him describe a living cadaver, small in stature and wrapped in creeping bandages. Amumu has inspired myths, songs, and folklore told and retold for generations such that it is impossible to separate truth from fiction. Due to his curse, Amumu is unable to properly interact with other people. This has led him to experience immense sadness and feelings of loneliness and despair wherever he goes.
I thought you'd never pick me.
Where are we going?
Would you like to be friends?
Anivia is a benevolent winged spirit who endures endless cycles of life, death, and rebirth to protect the Freljord. A demigod born of unforgiving ice and bitter winds, she wields those elemental powers to thwart any who dare disturb her homeland. Anivia guides and protects the tribes of the harsh north, who revere her as a symbol of hope, and a portent of great change. She fights with every ounce of her being, knowing that through her sacrifice, her memory will endure, and she will be reborn into a new tomorrow.
On my wings.
A thousand lives will I give for the Freljord.
The chicken or the egg? Actually I came first.
Dangerous, yet disarmingly precocious, Annie is a child mage with immense pyrokinetic power. Even in the shadows of the mountains north of Noxus, she is a magical outlier. Her natural affinity for fire manifested early in life through unpredictable, emotional outbursts, though she eventually learned to control these tricks. Her favorite includes the summoning of her beloved teddy bear, Tibbers, as a fiery beast hellbent on destruction. Lost in the perpetual innocence of childhood, Annie wanders the dark forests, always looking for someone to play with. Annie is childish and reckless, putting on a display of innocence while showing an unsettling sense of humor at times. She is very protective of Tibbers, seeing him as her best friend, and will not hesitate to animate him to attack whoever tries to harm her or snatches him from her. She is shown to have an indomitable will which impressed Tybaulk (the demon within Tibbers) enough to ally with her.
You wanna play too? It'll be fun!
Have you seen my bear Tibbers?
What's your favorite animal? A bear?
Emerging from moonlight’s shadow with weapons drawn, Aphelios kills the enemies of his faith in brooding silence—speaking only through the certainty of his aim, and the firing of each gun. Though fueled by a poison that renders him mute, he is guided by his sister Alune in her distant temple sanctuary from where she pushes an arsenal of moonstone weapons into his hands. For as long as the moon shines overhead, Aphelios will never be alone. Aphelios is a very devoted and mysterious individual, but he is also extremely protective and caring for his twin sister, Alune. He is faithful to his goddess whom he refers to as Mother Moon, He often kills the Solari to protect and further the interests of the Lunari people.
NOTE: We're aware Aphelios is a guy but due to Alune doing all the talking for him in the game, we have listed the gender as Female so there isn't any confusion.
So many weapons, Aphelios. The deadliest is your faith.
Even from across the celestial veil… I will be with you, brother.
You knew this would not be easy, the way forward written in scars.
Iceborn war mother of the Avarosan tribe, Ashe commands the most populous horde in the north. Stoic, intelligent, and idealistic, yet uncomfortable with her role as leader, she taps into the ancestral magics of her lineage to wield a bow of True Ice. With her people's belief that she is the mythological hero Avarosa reincarnated, Ashe hopes to unify the Freljord once more by retaking their ancient, tribal lands.
All the world on one arrow.
Move quickly, position well, and the battle is won before blood is drawn.
When I say Avarosa, I hear my mother, and her dreams...
Aurelion Sol once graced the vast emptiness of the celestial realm with wonders of his devising but was tricked by the Aspects of Targon into revealing the secrets of a sun that he created. His awesome power was channeled into immortal god-warriors to protect the insignificant world of Runeterra—now, desiring a return to his mastery of the cosmos, Aurelion Sol will drag the very stars from the sky, if he must, to regain his freedom. Aurelion Sol is an arrogant and prideful celestial being. He is angry at the Aspects for imprisoning him and is determined to destroy Runeterra. He is impatient and irritable and is extremely dismissive of Aspects (apart from Zoe) and anybody that he sees as inferior to him. Made bitter by his imprisonment, perhaps the only things that Aurelion Sol cares about are the stars he has created.
Naturally.
They call me a comet. They call me a dragon. They have no words for my true form.
The depths of space crawl with terrible entities. Pray they ignore this world.
Azir was a mortal emperor of Shurima in a far distant age, a proud man who stood at the cusp of immortality. His hubris saw him betrayed and murdered at the moment of his greatest triumph, but now, millennia later, he has been reborn as an Ascended being of immense power. With his buried city risen from the sand, Azir seeks to restore Shurima to its former glory. Azir is an arrogant and rather bossy person, while his desire to return Shurima to its former glory is a very noble gesture, he wants to do it just so he can dominate her as he did centuries ago.
Shurima! Your emperor has returned!
Shurima will once again stretch to the horizon.
None know the will of the desert better than I.
A traveler from beyond the stars, Bard is an agent of serendipity who strives to maintain the harmony between creation, and the cold indifference of what lies beyond it. Many Runeterrans sing songs that ponder his extraordinary nature, yet they all agree that the cosmic vagabond is drawn to artifacts of great magical power. Surrounded by a jubilant choir of helpful meeps, it is impossible to mistake his actions as malevolent, as Bard always serves the greater good... in his own odd way. Unlike celestials such as Soraka that care for living beings and their peaceful coexistence, Bard focuses more on the bigger picture by attending to matters of cosmic significance and assessing their threat levels for Runeterra. As such petty mortals are not important unless they threaten existence and reality themselves. E.g. Bard would save you not because you yourself are in danger but rather because your descendants will have a hand in keeping cosmic balance in the future. Bard will not intervene in battles unless the combatants themselves are the ones that could change the world for the worse.
NOTE: The reason Bard is set as a Sound Engineer role instead of Voice Actor is due to him only speaking through chimes.
Say something you think would fit
A nightmarish empress created from the raw material of an entire devoured city, Bel'Veth is the end of Runeterra itself... and the beginning of a monstrous reality of her design. Driven by epochs of repurposed history, knowledge, and memories from the world above, she voraciously feeds an ever-expanding need for new experiences and emotions, consuming all that crosses her path. Yet her wants could never be sated by only one world as she turns her hungry eyes toward the Void's old masters... Unlike most creatures that originate from the Void, Bel'Veth is sapient and individualistic due to the human qualities brought into her creation. Seeing herself as the embodiment of the Void, her main goal is to assimilate Runeterra into the Lavender Sea, a new Void made in her image. She is cold and intelligent, desiring to gather knowledge about everything she encounters. She is also arrogant, having no concern about others' threats if they aren't powerful enough to harm her. Bel'Veth is aware of the Watchers' origins and their hatred of creation but looks down on her creators for their inability to understand what she sees due to their blind desire to destroy all of existence, and is willing to make bargains of self-interest to stop the Watchers since they want to destroy the world which she wants to rule.
I am the voice of the silence.
You call us nothing, yet we are everything. Every place, every time... we are you.
My Runeterra will be beautiful.
A behemoth of burnished metal, steam, and crackling electricity, Blitzcrank walks the streets of Zaun in a tireless effort to improve the undercity and give aid to those in need. Created to descend into the most caustic and dangerous of environments in Zaun to dispose of harmful waste, they have evolved beyond the bounds of their original programming, thanks to the genius of their inventor, and the mysterious power of hextech.
Fired up and ready to serve.
A rolling golem gathers no rust.
I put the 'go' in 'golem'. That was humor. Other golems find that to be appropriately funny.
Once a tribesman of the icy Freljord named Kegan Rodhe, the creature known as Brand is a lesson in the temptation of greater power. Seeking one of the legendary World Runes, Kegan betrayed his companions and seized it for himself—and, in an instant, the man was no more. His soul burned away, his body a vessel of living flame, Brand now roams Valoran in search of other Runes, swearing revenge for wrongs he could never possibly have suffered in a dozen mortal lifetimes. Kegan Rodhe was an angry man, bitter towards the denizens of Rygann's Reach for how they treated him and his mother. He had an explosive temper, often resorting to him yelling, or more often using violence at those who angered him. After transforming into Brand, the World Rune took full control of Kegan's body, becoming a cataclysmic pyromaniac obsessed with gaining more power and burning the world to ash, seeing mortals as weak and wishing to rule as a god. He is obsessed with hunting down his vessel's former master Ryze, trying to tempt him to rule with the World-Runes' power alongside him, and taunting him when his apprentice Kala nearly gave in to the temptation of a World-Rune. It is shown that Brand's personality was influenced by the World-Rune tempting Kegan to get revenge on the world for how he had been treated, reducing Kegan to nothing more than the embodiment of his desire for vengeance.
Ready to set the world on fire? Heheheh...
I am the fire that cleanses the world!
Their scars will be warning.
Blessed with massive biceps and an even bigger heart, Braum is a beloved Iceborn hero of the Freljord. Every mead hall north of Frostheld toasts his legendary strength and tells tales of how he felled a forest of oaks in a single night and punched an entire mountain into rubble. With his shield, an enchanted vault door forged in ages past, Braum roams the frozen north as a cheerful protector, helping the vulnerable as he works toward his dream of a peaceful Freljord.
The heart is the strongest muscle.
Good times, good friends... what could be better?
Sometimes icy heart just needs warm smile.
Renowned as its finest peacekeeper, Caitlyn is also Piltover’s best shot at ridding the city of its elusive criminal elements. She is often paired with Vi, acting as a cool counterpoint to her partner’s more impetuous nature. Even though she carries a one-of-a-kind hextech rifle, Caitlyn’s most powerful weapon is her superior intellect, allowing her to lay elaborate traps for any lawbreakers foolish enough to operate in the City of Progress. Caitlyn is a woman who is quite loyal to the town of Piltover, she loves her job as a sheriff to help people and capture criminals so that they have a fair trial, which indicates that she is quite fair with good or bad people. However, Caitlyn can also be somewhat rebellious, as she often breaks the rules to make her do the sheriff's job, such as allowing Vi, a girl from Zaun to join her and chaperone her on missions. She is also quite compassionate since seeing how the city of Zaun is, she tries to help Vi in any way she can to try to help Zaun and prevent the corruption and anarchy from continuing.
I'm on the case.
So close to a breakthrough. All I must do is connect the dots.
They cannot run from the long arm of the law... nor from the scope of my rifle.
Weaponized to operate outside the boundaries of the law, Camille is the Principal Intelligencer of Clan Ferros—an elegant and elite agent who ensures the Piltover machine and its Zaunite underbelly run smoothly. Adaptable and precise, she views sloppy technique as an embarrassment that must be put to order. With a mind as sharp as the blades she bears, Camille's pursuit of superiority through hextech body augmentation has left many to wonder if she is now more machine than woman. Camille has shown to be a person quite obsessed with her work since she agreed to become a cyborg to become more powerful, she also seems to be quite cold and direct with people, especially with her co-workers like Caitlyn and Vi, but she can become quite soft with some people who follow nearly unattainable ideals like Seraphine.
Precision is the difference between a butcher and a surgeon.
The harsh memory of one's past does not soften with age.
If you don't have the talent to fight, at least have the decency to die.
Cassiopeia is a deadly creature bent on manipulating others to her will. The youngest and most beautiful daughter of the noble Du Couteau family of Noxus, she ventured deep into the crypts beneath Shurima in search of ancient power. There, she was bitten by a gruesome tomb guardian, whose venom transformed her into a viper-like predator. Cunning and agile, Cassiopeia now slithers under the veil of night, petrifying her enemies with her baleful gaze. Cassiopeia is a treacherous, manipulative schemer who takes any opportunity she can to further her goals. She has an individualistic philosophy, seeing others as tools to exploit. After transforming into her cursed form, she initially felt disgusted towards her new body and despair from losing her old life as a noble but embraced her new form as a way to enact her goals herself. Though Cassiopeia's new capabilities have made her sadistic and predatory, she still has moral standards and prefers to hunt those more evil than herself, such as when she admonished and killed a Noxian soldier who committed inhumane crimes.
There is no antidote for me.
Who will have the 'fortune' of facing me today?
Spineless? No. Flexible? Extremely.
From the moment Cho'Gath first emerged into the harsh light of Runeterra's sun, the beast was driven by the purest and insatiable hunger. A perfect expression of the Void's desire to consume all life, Cho'Gath's complex biology quickly converts matter into new bodily growth—increasing its muscle mass and density, or hardening its outer carapace like an organic diamond. When growing larger does not suit the Void-spawn's needs, it vomits out the excess material as razor-sharp spines, leaving prey skewered and ready to feast upon later.
You'd wish the world you know to end! Yeeeesssss...
Your races are a scourge upon the world!
Death is not the end for you, I have seen to it. For eternity, you are mine!
The yordle pilot Corki loves two things above all others: flying, and his glamorous mustache... though not necessarily in that order. After leaving Bandle City, he settled in Piltover and fell in love with the wondrous machines he found there. He dedicated himself to the development of flying contraptions, leading an aerial defense force of seasoned veterans known as the Screaming Yipsnakes. Calm under fire, Corki patrols the skies around his adopted home, and has never encountered a problem that a good missile barrage couldn't solve.
I'm up to snuff, and gots me an ace machine!
This is Major Tom to ground control!
That just goes to show you you're nothin' but a Whiskey Delta!
There is no greater symbol of Noxian might than Darius, the nation's most feared and battle-hardened leader. Rising from humble origins to become the Hand of Noxus, he cleaves through the empire's enemies—many of them Noxians themselves. Knowing that he never doubts his cause is just and never hesitates once his axe is raised, those who stand against the commander of the Trifarian Legion can expect no mercy.
They will regret opposing me.
I do not tolerate cowardice.
Don't turn your back, or expose your neck.
Bearing her crescent moonblade, Diana fights as a warrior of the Lunari, a faith all but quashed in the lands around Mount Targon. Clad in shimmering armor the color of winter snow at night, she is a living embodiment of the silver moon's power. Imbued with the essence of an Aspect from beyond Targon's towering summit, Diana is no longer wholly human and struggles to divine her power and purpose in this world. Diana as a child was a quite rebellious and undisciplined girl since many times she did not obey the rules of the Solari and that led her to isolate herself from everyone, the only person who understood her was Leona whom she always treated with respect, with time the two became best friends and eventually lovers. Diana was also quite curious and she was more curious about the moon and the Lunari tribe whom the Solari looked upon with hatred and abhorrence. After becoming the Aspect of the Moon, Diana tried to convince Leona to leave Mount Targon together. However, Leona only wanted to return to the Solari. This disagreement soon turned into a titanic battle. Diana chose to flee rather than strike down her only friend and lover. Diana is driven by the idea that the Solari and Lunari were close once before, and could be again. In recent times she has dedicated herself to guiding the Lunari and helping them to move forward. Meanwhile, Diana still has feelings for Leona and refuses to kill her.
A new moon is rising.
Embrace the night.
Knock, knock. Who's there? The moon... it's far away! You were alone the whole time! Ha ha ha!
Utterly mad, tragically homicidal, and horrifyingly purple, Dr. Mundo is what keeps many of Zaun’s citizens indoors on particularly dark nights. Now a self-proclaimed physician, he was once a patient of Zaun’s most infamous asylum. After “curing” the entire staff, Dr. Mundo established his practice in the empty wards that once treated him and began mimicking the highly unethical procedures he had so often experienced himself. With a full cabinet of medicines and zero medical knowledge, he now makes himself more monstrous with each injection and terrifies the hapless “patients” who wander near his office. Mundo believes himself to be a doctor and everyone else to be his patients. This is a psychotic delusion/escapist reality, and he often injures, dismembers, or even kills his 'patients' without realizing it. Despite all this, Mundo seems to care for his 'patients,' becoming sad when his 'cures' don't work. He works tirelessly to cure these people of these supposed 'diseases' and is a generally caring but crazy person.
The doctor is... uh... in!
Dear medical journal. First day in new hospital. Already have... uh... five patients.
Like Mundo always say: malpractice make mal-perfect.
In Noxus, warriors known as reckoners face one another in arenas where blood is spilled and strength tested—but none has ever been as celebrated as Draven. A former soldier, he found that the crowds uniquely appreciated his flair for the dramatic, not to mention the spray of blood from each of his spinning axes. Addicted to the spectacle of his brash perfection, Draven has sworn to defeat whomever he must to ensure that his name is chanted throughout the empire forever more.
Welcome to the League of Draven.
Perfection? I got that.
Who wants some Draven? Heheheh.
A prodigy from the rough streets of Zaun, Ekko manipulates time to twist any situation to his advantage. Using his invention, the Z-Drive, he explores the branching possibilities of reality to craft the perfect moment. Though he revels in this freedom, when there’s a threat to his friends, he’ll do anything to defend them. To outsiders, Ekko seems to achieve the impossible the first time, every time.
It's not how much time you have, it's how you use it.
Someone's day's about to get wrecked.
Never had luck. Never needed it.
Elise is a deadly predator who dwells in a shuttered, lightless palace, deep within the oldest city of Noxus. She was once the mistress of a powerful noble house until the bite of a vile spider-god transformed her into something utterly inhuman, yet still beautiful—an arachnoid creature, drawing unsuspecting prey into her web. Elise now feeds upon the naive and the faithless, and few can resist her seductions.
Only the spider is safe in her web.
My true beauty is beneath the skin.
I hear a man likes a lady with legs.
Within the dark seams of Runeterra, the demon Evelynn searches for her next victim. She lures in prey with the voluptuous façade of a human female, but once a person succumbs to her charms, Evelynn's true form is unleashed. She then subjects her victim to unspeakable torment, gratifying herself with their pain. To the demon, these liaisons are innocent flings. To the rest of Runeterra, they are ghoulish tales of lust gone awry and horrific reminders of the cost of wanton desire. Evelynn is a vicious and cruel creature that hunts for prey without mercy. In the beginning of her existence during the Rune Wars, Evelynn was a thoughtless entity that hunted for pain to satisfy her hunger. Once the war ended, Evelynn decided to attract her prey by using a sensual form. Under this persona, Evelynn is charming and flirty towards her victims, manipulating others towards her doom. She prefers those that live happy lives, and then brings them to the peak of ecstasy so that their agony is more intense, relishing in her cruelty.
You know you want me.
Show me the man who has everything, and I'll show you my next victim.
That skin looks good on you, but it would look better on my bedroom floor
A dashing adventurer, unknowingly gifted in the magical arts, Ezreal raids long-lost catacombs, tangles with ancient curses, and overcomes seemingly impossible odds with ease. With his courage and bravado knowing no bounds, he prefers to improvise his way out of any situation, relying partially on his wits, but mostly on his mystical Shuriman gauntlet, which he uses to unleash devastating arcane blasts. One thing is for sure—whenever Ezreal is around, trouble isn’t too far behind. Or ahead. Probably everywhere. Ezreal is an intelligent and cunning young man that appears to be an arrogant, and narcissistic person. He also seems to be a very self-confident individual, always getting into trouble and not being very careful of traps and monsters he encounters as he explores, not caring about the 'collateral damage' he might incur when exploring. At least part of his attention-seeking behavior comes from a young age. Back when he was a kid attending university at the petition of his uncle, he was already known for his troublemaking behavior, lockpicking into restricted areas, evading the university wardens, rearranging the professors' desks, and even for more infamous and notoriously complex pranks. Even in his shenanigans as an explorer, not taking into account any rules or legal proceedings to do things, all in hopes of his parents being out there and coming back to him if he makes enough of a reputation as an explorer. Despite showing this ego-inflated attitude, Ezreal is a wounded inside individual that uses this confident exterior to cover trauma he wouldn't admit having. He is a very critical individual of the people and city he grew up in because he sees his flaws exaggerated in them. He has a rather evident image problem, dissonant with his exterior self-centered attitude, Ezreal appears to not stand looking at his reflection in a mirror.
Quest accepted! ...Wait, where are we going?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. World. Peril. Save it. I got it, I got it.
Little piece of advice: If no one tells you something's impossible, then it's still possible. So go do it.
Something has awoken in Runeterra. Something ancient. Something terrible. The ageless horror known as Fiddlesticks stalks the edges of mortal society, drawn to areas thick with paranoia where it feeds upon terrorized victims. Wielding a jagged scythe, the haggard, makeshift creature reaps fear itself, shattering the minds of those unlucky enough to survive in its wake. Beware the sounding of the crow, or the whispering of the shape that appears almost human... Fiddlesticks has returned. Fiddlesticks is a creature of pure emotional instinct that doesn't understand the form it takes or the words it repeats, and was created from the formless negative energy endemic to all life.
Fear...
It's hunting us. It knows what we're afraid of.
It moves around at night.
The most feared duelist in all Valoran, Fiora is as renowned for her brusque manner and political cunning as she is for the speed of her rapier. Born to the noble Laurent family in Demacia, Fiora claimed the household from her father in the wake of a scandal that nearly destroyed them—now she is dedicated to restoring the Laurents to their rightful place among the great and good of the kingdom.
I long for a worthy opponent.
Sharp blade, sharp mind.
I like you. I hate to kill you.
Fizz is an amphibious yordle, who dwells among the reefs surrounding Bilgewater. He often retrieves and returns the tithes cast into the sea by superstitious captains, but even the saltiest of sailors know better than to cross him—for many are the tales of those who have underestimated this slippery character. Often mistaken for some manner of capricious ocean spirit, he seems able to command the beasts of the deep, and delights in confounding his allies and enemies alike. In the beginning, Fizz was a proud and headstrong warrior of an ancient aquatic civilization. Like most Yordles, Fizz was greatly attached to his civilization of choice, and dedicated his life to protecting it, training to become a powerful warrior against terrible foes. When that aquatic civilization was destroyed anyway, the trauma made Fizz sink into a despair so big that he hibernated, where he remained for centuries. After waking up from his coma in Bilgewater. Fizz's personality changed greatly. He became the trickster of Bilgewater, a strange and mercurial creature of the seas. Though generally good-natured, Fizz pranks often lead to chaos and destruction, such as the sinking of ships and massive amounts of casualties. Despite this, Fizz often tends to help the good-natured and punish those that try to abuse the oceans.
Let me at 'em!
Wanna see a trick?
Hmm, something's fishy.
Outside the Great City of Demacia, the stone colossus Galio keeps vigilant watch. Built as a bulwark against enemy mages, he often stands motionless for decades until the presence of powerful magic stirs him to life. Once activated, Galio makes the most of his time, savoring the thrill of a fight and the rare honor of defending his countrymen. But his triumphs are always bittersweet, for the magic he destroys is also his source of reanimation, and each victory leaves him dormant once again. Galio, when active, has a cheerful personality, always eager to help people in need, as well as fight whenever called upon. He has no particular fondness for most mages, as most of his encounters with them are from opposing armies.
Time to make an impact!
You know what's hard about fighting? Nothing! Come on, I'm made of stone.
Tragedy is worse when you can do nothing about it.
As unpredictable as he is brutal, the dethroned reaver king Gangplank is feared far and wide. Once, he ruled the port city of Bilgewater, and while his reign is over, some believe this has only made him more dangerous. Gangplank would see Bilgewater bathed in blood once more before letting someone else take it—and now with a pistol, cutlass, and barrels of gunpowder, he is determined to reclaim what he has lost.
Neither the flames nor the depths could claim me.
With sword and shot I'll take my island back.
Hang 'em from the slaughterdocks.
A proud and noble soldier, Garen fights at the head of the Dauntless Vanguard. He is popular among his fellows and respected well enough by his enemies—not least as a scion of the prestigious Crownguard family, entrusted with defending Demacia and its ideals. Clad in magic-resistant armor and bearing a mighty broadsword, Garen stands ready to confront mages and sorcerers on the field of battle, in a veritable whirlwind of righteous steel.
My heart and sword always for Demacia.
We fight for those who cannot.
Come forth, you will find honor in death.
Gnar is an excitable yordle whose playful antics can erupt into a toddler's outrage in an instant, transforming him into a massive beast bent on destruction. Frozen in True Ice for millennia, the curious creature broke free and now hops about a changed world he sees as exotic and wondrous. Delighted by danger, Gnar flings whatever he can at his enemies, be it his bonetooth boomerang... or an uprooted tree.
Gnar gada!
Oga manni maxa.
Shoo shoo? Bahnah! (laughs)
Equal parts jolly and imposing, Gragas is a massive, rowdy brewmaster on his quest for the perfect pint of ale. Hailing from parts unknown, he now searches for rare ingredients among the unblemished wastes of the Freljord, trying each recipe as he goes. Often intoxicated and extremely impulsive, he is legendary for the brawls he starts, which often end in all-night parties and widespread property damage. Any appearance from Gragas must surely foreshadow drinking and destruction—in that order.
If you're buying, I'm in!
Let's get this party started!
I'll drink you under the table, scrub!
Malcolm Graves is a renowned mercenary, gambler, and thief—a wanted man in every city and empire he has visited. Even though he has an explosive temper, he possesses a sense of criminal honor, often enforced at the business end of his double-barreled shotgun Destiny. In recent years, he has reconciled a troubled partnership with Twisted Fate, and together they have prospered once more in the turmoil of Bilgewater’s criminal underbelly.
Dead man walkin'.
Let's settle the score.
Don't die, yet! Heh, that was only a warning shot. *chuckles*
A former doll transformed and brought to life by magic, Gwen wields the very tools that once created her. She carries the weight of her maker’s love with every step, taking nothing for granted. At her command is the Hallowed Mist, an ancient and protective magic that has blessed Gwen’s scissors, needles, and sewing thread. So much is new to her, but Gwen remains joyfully determined to fight for the good that survives in a broken world. Gwen is a doll given life by the Hallowed Mist and a fragment of Isolde's soul, representing her kindness, love, and joy, granting her self-awareness and an independent personality. Having been created as an idealized character by Isolde as a little girl, Gwen has the personality of an idealized princess of fairy tales, highly polite and graceful. She's kind, friendly, excitable, eager to see the world, curious, and in love with everything in it. Having been alive for only a short time, she is terrified of dying. Although generally friendly and genuine in her niceness, Gwen is not unaware of the darkness of the world. She dutifully fights the evils of the Black Mist to protect the world she was born in, and she has nothing but contempt for the Shadow Isles' most malevolent members, such as Thresh and Viego.
Head high, chin up, scissors ready!
What a strange, wonderful world. I must make sure it stays that way.
Still can't believe I get to move my hands and feet all on my own!
Hecarim is a spectral fusion of man and beast, cursed to ride down the souls of the living for all eternity. When the Blessed Isles fell into shadow, this proud knight was undone by the destructive energies of the Ruination, along with all his cavalry and their mounts. Now, whenever The Black Mist reaches out across Runeterra, he leads its devastating charge, reveling in the slaughter and crushing foes beneath his armored hooves. Hecarim is a merciless, bloodthirsty warrior who enjoys raiding cities and killing their inhabitants, mainly to gain a reputation of being feared or simply pure sadism, shown when he was so caught up with slaughtering the Helians that the Ruination took him by surprise. He is obsessed with glory and has no problem with killing his allies to further climb up the ranks. Hecarim can also be cunning and manipulative to get what he wants, pushing Viego's grief into becoming more unhinged so he could raid enemy settlements on his command, and persuading Kalista to reveal the Blessed Isles for him. After becoming a wraith, he now seeks to kill every mortal being he comes across with the Iron Order by his side.
Behold, the might of the Shadow Isles.
Their souls beg for release.
You won't live to see your world destroyed.
A brilliant yet eccentric yordle scientist, Professor Cecil B. Heimerdinger is one of the most innovative and esteemed inventors Piltover has ever known. Relentless in his work to the point of neurotic obsession, he thrives on answering the universe's most impenetrable questions. Though his theories often appear opaque and esoteric, Heimerdinger has crafted some of Piltover's most miraculous—not to mention lethal—machinery, and constantly tinkers with his inventions to make them even more efficient.
Indeed, a wise choice.
Yes, yes, hurry, I have important work to get back to!
Not enough variables... hmm... not nearly enough variables.
Illaoi's powerful physique is dwarfed only by her indomitable faith. As the prophet of the Great Kraken, she uses a huge, golden idol to rip her foes' spirits from their bodies and shatter their perception of reality. All who challenge the 'Truth Bearer of Nagakabouros' soon discover Illaoi never battles alone - the god of the Serpent Isles fights by her side.
I'm not big on sermons - broken bones teach better lessons.
It is my burden to carry an eye of god. It is my privilege to see the truth.
If I hate something, I destroy it. If I want something, I take it.
The Noxian occupation of Ionia produced many heroes, none more unlikely than the young Irelia of Navori. Trained in the ancient dances of her province, she adapted her art for war, using graceful and carefully practiced movements to levitate a host of deadly blades. After proving herself as a fighter, she was thrust into the role of resistance leader and figurehead, and to this day remains dedicated to the preservation of her homeland. Irelia is a passionate, protective, and very fond of dance individual who dedicates herself to the protection of Ionia.
Fight for the First Lands!
We stand on the bones of the ones who came before us. For them, we fight!
I have walked the silver plains and fished the rivers of grass. The land knows me.
Ivern, known to many as Bramblefoot or the Old Woodsman, is a peculiar half-man, half-tree who roams the wilds of Runeterra, cultivating life everywhere he goes. He knows all the secrets of the natural world, and holds deep friendships with things that grow, fly, and scuttle. Ivern enriches the forests, imparts strange wisdom to any mortal he meets, and occasionally entrusts loose-lipped butterflies with his secrets.
My favorite color is spring.
What a wonderful day. Gooseberries would love it.
I follow only the sun! Eh, and sometimes a river. This one time, a scorpion.
An ancient and mysterious wind spirit, Janna has come to protect the dispossessed of Zaun. While her presence is most often felt as a soothing breeze or a ferocious tempest, she also can manifest in corporeal form as an ethereal figure, comforting the downtrodden. Over the eons, Janna has witnessed the rise and fall of civilizations. Through it all, she remains steadfast as a beacon of hope to those in need. Janna is a benevolent and mysterious individual, but is also extremely protective and caring towards those who believe in her and trust her guidance, she is true to her cause in helping those most in need.
The tempest is at your command.
And you thought it was just a harmless breeze!
Say hello to the winds of--- (double cough, clears throat) I don't know what came over me.
As the king’s only son, Prince Jarvan is the heir apparent to the throne of Demacia. Raised to be a paragon of his nation’s greatest virtues, he is forced to balance the heavy expectations placed upon him with his desire to prove himself on the battlefield. An exceptional warrior in his own right, Jarvan also inspires his troops with fearsome courage and selfless determination, raising his family’s colors high and revealing his true strength as a future leader of his people.
By my will, this shall be finished.
Stand with me, brothers and sisters.
You like my weapon? Come on over for a closer inspection!
Runeterra's greatest weapons master, Jax is the only survivor of the Kohari—champions sworn to the defense of Icathia. But when the Void was unleashed against the Shuriman empire's Ascended Host, Icathia was destroyed, leaving Jax without a home or purpose. He gathered the “last light of Icathia”, a symbol of his hope to one day defeat the Void, and now travels the world, searching for warriors strong enough to face the coming darkness by his side. Always itching for a fight, Jax is a brazen and arrogant individual, wanting to find an opponent that presents him with a challenge. Despite this brazen personality, Jax still harbors personal doubt because of the events of Icathia, which changed him forever.
Let's do this!
Who wants a piece of the champ?!
Imagine if I had a real weapon!
Jayce is a brilliant inventor who has pledged his life to the defense of Piltover and its unyielding pursuit of progress. With his transforming hextech hammer in hand, Jayce uses his strength, courage, and considerable intelligence to protect his hometown. While revered throughout the city as a hero, he hasn't taken well to the attention it brings. Still, Jayce's heart is in the right place, and even those who envy his natural skills are grateful for his protection in the City of Progress.
I fight for a brighter tomorrow.
Eyes on the horizon.
This is what the future looks like.
Jhin is a meticulous criminal psychopath who believes murder is an art. Once an Ionian prisoner, but freed by shadowy elements within Ionia's ruling council, the serial killer now works as their cabal's assassin. Using his gun as his paintbrush, Jhin creates works of artistic brutality, horrifying victims and onlookers. He gains a cruel pleasure from putting on his gruesome theater, making him the ideal choice to send the most powerful of messages: terror. Despite his theatrics during murders, much of his day-to-day personality is reserved and quiet; it's not very memorable which he takes advantage of with his performances. Within the ranks of the Navori Brotherhood, the few that know him to consider him a weirdo. His inner voice is one of attentiveness, almost to the point of obsession, like when he cleans the stock of his gun. When interacting with the people around him, he seems to analyze their attributes. The man is internally self-deprecating, as it is mentioned that "normally, his appearance elicited pangs of self-conscious loathing". When it comes to his performances, he's willing to take risks which makes sense due to his psychopathy. He's also notably grandiose, carrying himself with an air of haughtiness.
In carnage, I bloom, like a flower in the dawn.
I suppose I must make do with this tawdry setting.
They're puppets. I pull their strings, and then they dance.
A manic and impulsive criminal from Zaun, Jinx lives to wreak havoc without caring about the consequences. With an arsenal of deadly weapons, she unleashes the loudest blasts and brightest explosions to leave a trail of mayhem and panic in her wake. Jinx despises boredom and gleefully brings her own chaotic brand of pandemonium wherever she goes. Jinx is an eccentric inventor and criminal, taking pleasure in inventing and causing mayhem and destruction.
Rules are made to be broken... like buildings! Or people!
I'm crazy! Got a doctor's note.
Guns don't kill people. I mean, until you shoot 'em. Then they kill everything!
Claimed by the Void when she was only a child, Kai'Sa managed to survive through sheer tenacity and strength of will. Her experiences have made her a deadly hunter and, to some, the harbinger of a future they would rather not live to see. Having entered into an uneasy symbiosis with a living Void carapace, the time will soon come when she must decide whether to forgive those mortals who would call her a monster, and defeat the coming darkness together... or simply to forget, as the Void consumes the world that left her behind.
Are you the hunter... or the prey?
You know that feeling when your skin crawls? Like a thousand needles poking through every pore? Blood pounding through every vein? That's just an itch compared to what lives on me.
This skin is fashioned for survival, and honed by instinct.
An undying specter of wrath and retribution, Kalista is an armored nightmare summoned from the Shadow Isles to hunt deceivers and traitors. The betrayed may cry out in blood to be avenged, but Kalista only answers those willing to pay with their very souls. Those who become the focus of Kalista's wrath should make their final peace, for any pact sealed with this grim hunter can only be ended by the cold, piercing fire of her soul-spears.
Death to all betrayers.
Turncoats, oath breakers and betrayers... we hate them all.
What is started will be finished.
No mortal exemplifies the spiritual traditions of Ionia more than Karma. She is the living embodiment of an ancient soul reincarnated countless times, carrying all her accumulated memories into each new life, and blessed with power that few can comprehend. She has done her best to guide her people in recent times of crisis, though she knows that peace and harmony may come only at a considerable cost—both to her and to the land she holds most dear.
Always trust your spirit.
I have seen two paths and made another between.
An ideal is nothing... until you fight for it.
The harbinger of oblivion, Karthus is an undying spirit whose haunting songs are a prelude to the horror of his nightmarish appearance. The living fears the eternity of undeath, but Karthus sees only beauty and purity in its embrace, a perfect union of life and death. When Karthus emerges from the Shadow Isles, it is to bring the joy of death to mortals as an apostle of the unliving. Karthus has pledged to bring death to the world. He sees life as a crutch and an obstacle to reaching the true potential and knowledge that humanity has to offer. He feels no remorse for those he kills, as he sees them as freed and at their true potential.
Agony, ecstasy, peace. Every passing has a beauty all its own.
We all have a place among the divine. We have only to accept it.
In the end, only the dead shall remain.
Cutting a burning swath through the darkest places of the world, Kassadin knows his days are numbered. Though once a notorious adventurer, he had chosen to live anonymously and raise a family among the nomad tribes of Shurima—until the day his daughter was claimed by the Void. Kassadin vowed to bring her back, combining several arcane artifacts and forbidden technologies for the struggle ahead. His precautions were not enough, however, and these devices now only serve to slow the insidious corruption that ravages his body... but he will gladly pay that price if only he can save her...
The balance of power must be preserved.
Your magic is powerless against me!
You are null and void.
Decisive in judgment and lethal in combat, Katarina is a Noxian assassin of the highest caliber. Eldest daughter to the legendary General Du Couteau, she made her talents known with swift kills against unsuspecting enemies. Her fiery ambition has driven her to pursue heavily guarded targets, even at the risk of endangering her allies—but no matter the mission, Katarina will not hesitate to execute her duty amid a whirlwind of serrated daggers.
Violence solves everything.
Keep friends close and enemies guessing.
Come on, live a little... while you can!
Born to a Targonian Aspect at the height of the Rune Wars, Kayle honored her mother's legacy by fighting for justice on wings of divine flame. She and her twin sister Morgana were the protectors of Demacia for many years—until Kayle became disillusioned with the repeated failings of mortals, and abandoned this realm altogether. Still, legends are told of her punishing the unjust with her fiery swords, and many hope that she will one day return...
They shall tremble at my perfection.
In me will rise the strength of a thousand swords... The fury of a thousand flames...
There is right, and there is wrong. All else is rationalization.
A peerless practitioner of lethal shadow magic, Shieda Kayn battles to achieve his true destiny—to one day lead the Order of Shadow into a new era of Ionian supremacy. He wields the sentient darkin weapon Rhaast, undeterred by its creeping corruption of his body and mind. There are only two possible outcomes: either Kayn bends the weapon to his will... or the malevolent blade consumes him completely, paving the way for the destruction of all Runeterra.
NOTE: You will be auditioning for not only Kayn but also Rhaast.
Kayn: Will you prove worthy?
Rhaast: Probably not.Kayn: I have mastered every weapon of war. No prattling tool will prove an exception.
Rhaast: Such an obsequious pupil. I will be your new master.
The longest-standing member of the ancient Kinkou Order, the yordle Kennen is the first and only Heart of the Tempest. For centuries, he has used diplomacy—and force—to maintain the sacred balance in his adopted home of Ionia. Lightning fast and bearing the wisdom of a long and storied life, Kennen works with the Eye of Twilight, Shen, to protect the fragile harmony of the First Lands with a whirling storm of shuriken and devastating electrical energy. Kennen is a paradoxical being, due to his nature as a Yordle. Simultaneously an ancient being and an unaging spirit, Kennen can shift from a wise master to excitable and childlike in an instant.
The eyes never lie.
Big targets are the best! There's more to aim at!
Yes, they make shurikens this small!
The Void grows, and the Void adapts—in none of its myriad spawn are these truths more apparent than Kha'Zix. Evolution drives the core of this mutating horror, born to survive and to slay the strong. Where it struggles to do so, it grows new, more effective ways to counter and kill its prey. Initially a mindless beast, Kha'Zix's intelligence has developed as much as its form. Now, the creature plans out its hunts, and even utilizes the visceral terror it engenders in its victims.
Change is good.
This world is delicious!
Do not fear death. The best part of you will live on!
Separate, but never parted, Kindred represents the twin essences of death. Lamb's bow offers a swift release from the mortal realm for those who accept their fate. Wolf hunts down those who run from their end, delivering violent finality within his crushing jaws. Though interpretations of Kindred's nature vary across Runeterra, every mortal must choose the true face of their death. In the beginning, Kindred was a single being, isolated from the others due to their nature as a god of death. Lonely and craving companionship, they took an Ax and cut themself in half dividing them into two beings, Lamb and Wolf. Both are deeply attached to each other.
NOTE: It's recommended if auditioning for Kindred to have someone who's also a VA and interested in the project to take either Lamb or Wolf depending on which one you're going for. If you plan on going for both, make sure your range is wide enough.
Lamb: Never one...
Wolf: ...without the other.Lamb: Beauty fades. That is why it is beautiful.
Wolf: Fear makes the chase more fun!
A warrior as fearless as he is ornery, the yordle Kled embodies the furious bravado of Noxus Crest icon.png Noxus. Many claim Kled has fought in every campaign the warhosts have waged, acquired every military title, and never once backed down from a fight. Though the truth of the matter is often questionable, one part of his legend is always the same: charging into battle on his un-trusty steed, Skaarl, Kled fights to protect what's his... and takes whatever else he can get.
I find courage unpredictable, it's total insanity you can rely on!
Was the battle of Fallgren when I first took the rank of Sergeant General Colonel. Least, I think that's what rank they was. Gotta' remember to ask before killing them.
A man without a weapon ain't worth listening to.
Belched forth from a rotting Void incursion deep in the wastelands of Icathia, Kog'Maw is an inquisitive yet putrid creature with a caustic, gaping mouth. This particular Void-spawn needs to gnaw and drool on anything within reach to truly understand it. Though not inherently evil, Kog'Maw's beguiling naiveté is dangerous, as it often precedes a feeding frenzy—not for sustenance, but to satisfy its unending curiosity. Kog'Maw is a curious creature with baseline instincts and seems to have no personality or consciousness beyond that. It is not known to what extent Kog'Maw can understand itself or its surroundings.
Time to feast!
Want meat!
Keep coming! Not full!
Mysterious even to other members of the Black Rose cabal, LeBlanc is but one of many names for a pale woman who has manipulated people and events since the earliest days of Noxus. Using her magic to mirror herself, the sorceress can appear to anyone, anywhere, and even be in many places at once. Always plotting just out of sight, LeBlanc's true motives are as inscrutable as her shifting identity. Leblanc is a deceptive individual, often using her sorcery to trick, confuse, or convince people into serving her and the interests of the Black Rose. Leblanc is also clever, using all manner of methods to serve the interests of her and the Black Rose. Her ultimate goal is to have control of Noxus, whether publicly or by proxy. Although she seeks the striving of herself and her coven, LeBlanc never takes the spotlight of her schemes. Instead, she manipulates others to do the dirty work for her, as she convinces them through their little struggles as she sees the big picture.
The Black Rose shall bloom once more.
It's all smoke and mirrors.
For a moment I thought I'd broken a sweat.
A master of Ionia's ancient martial arts, Lee Sin is a principled fighter who channels the essence of the dragon spirit to face any challenge. Though he lost his sight many years ago, the warrior-monk has devoted his life to protecting his homeland against any who would dare upset its sacred balance. Enemies who underestimate his meditative demeanor will endure his fabled burning fists and blazing roundhouse kicks.
Your will, my hands.
I will struggle, I will fail, but to surrender is a privilege I do not have.
Never again will arrogance lead me astray.
Imbued with the fire of the sun, Leona is a warrior templar of the Solari who defends Mount Targon with her Zenith Blade and Shield of Daybreak. Her skin shimmers with starfire while her eyes burn with the power of the celestial Aspect within her. Armored in gold and bearing a terrible burden of ancient knowledge, Leona brings enlightenment to some, and death to others. Leona is a Solari quite devoted to her religion, so she is always willing to give her life in the name of the sun and her people, which makes her quite loyal, she is also a very warm soul like the sun with all people, especially with her best friend Diana, who is the one Leona respects the most within the Solari. When Diana left with the Lunari, Leona was emotionally shattered as she could not bear Diana's betrayal, many Solari demanded her head due to this betrayal, but Leona adamantly refused to kill her friend as no matter what powers she has, she still loves her suggesting that Leona feels more than friendship towards Diana.
The dawn has arrived.
Chosen of the sun.
They will be sundered.
Intensely shy, the fae fawn Lillia skittishly wanders Ionia's forests. Hiding just out of sight of mortals—whose mysterious natures have long captivated, but intimidated, her—Lillia hopes to discover why their dreams no longer reach the ancient Dreaming Tree. She now travels Ionia with a magical branch in hand, to find people's unrealized dreams. Only then can Lillia herself bloom and help others untangle their fears to see the sparkle within. Eep! Lillia is a timid and kind individual, but is also extremely protective and determined in her cause to help her Mother tree.
Me? A dream come true.
The garden is filled with burls. The burls, with nightmares... Mother Tree, I'll remind them how to dream.
Quiet things are strong. That's why I'm whispering!
As the reclusive leader of the Frostguard, many believe Lissandra is a living saint whose followers bring healing and wisdom to the tribes of the Freljord. The truth is perhaps more sinister, as she uses her elemental magic to twist the power of True Ice into something dark and terrible, entombing or impaling any who would reveal her deepest secrets. Indeed, the legacy of her past may yet be the beginning of the end for Runeterra. Lissandra is a very imposing presence. She ports herself like a glorious monolith, always standing above everyone else. Lissandra is very manipulative, frigid, demanding, a perfectionist, and will do anything to achieve her goals. She is a very harsh leader and does not cope well with defeat or failure. She is also a very patient person, observing the Howling Abyss for almost ten millennia, waiting for the beings below to wake up. Although she has this icy facade, Lissandra is a fearful person. She is in constant dread that her past will catch up to her and perpetually carries a heavy burden. She came to accept that she will find no peace in this life.
I will bury the world in ice.
I will restore Freljord's greatness.
I've been killing your kind for centuries!
Lucian, a Sentinel of Light, is a grim hunter of undying spirits, pursuing them relentlessly and annihilating them with his twin relic pistols. After the wraith Thresh slew his wife, Lucian embarked on the path of vengeance—but even with her return to life, his rage is undiminished. Merciless and single-minded, Lucian will stop at nothing to protect the living from the long-dead horrors of the Black Mist.
Everybody dies. Some just need a little help.
I got two guns. One's for what's in front of me, and one's for what's chasin'.
I try to remember her the way she was... maybe it's best I don't.
The yordle mage Lulu is known for conjuring dreamlike illusions and fanciful creatures as she roams Runeterra with her fairy companion Pix. Lulu shapes reality on a whim, warping the fabric of the world, and what she views as the constraints of this mundane, physical realm. While others might consider her magic at best unnatural, and at worst dangerous, she believes everyone could use a touch of enchantment.
Pleased to meet you!
That squirrel looks familiar.
I could go for a twirl... Whoa, whoa whoa ah, wooh!
Luxanna Crownguard hails from Demacia, an insular realm where magical abilities are viewed with fear and suspicion. Able to bend light to her will, she grew up dreading discovery and exile and was forced to keep her power secret to preserve her family's noble status. Nonetheless, Lux's optimism and resilience have led her to embrace her unique talents, and she now seeks to bring greater tolerance and understanding to her homeland. Lux presents an energetic and optimistic disposition, being happy and finding humor all the time. However, in more serious situations, Lux's facade drops and she turns out to be constrained and worried about her magic and being found out. She wishes for mages to be accepted in Demacia and opposes the Mageseekers' prosecution of them just because of their powers, sympathizing with Sylas for being unfairly imprisoned. When he betrayed her and started the rebellion, Lux saw him as the danger he truly was, though since the rebellion she has decided to help innocent mages secretly escape Demacia and join Sylas' camp, since being under his rule would be better than being trapped in a nation which saw them only as criminals.
Let's light it up!
I've been hiding my light long enough.
I don't have dark secrets - I have bright ones.
A massive creature of living stone, Malphite was born from the heart of the great Ixtal construct known as the Monolith. He has studied the elemental balance of Runeterra for thousands of years, using his tremendous strength to maintain order in a frequently chaotic world. Now, roused all too often from his slumbers, Malphite endures the fluid temperaments of mortals, while struggling to find a cause worthy of the last of his kind.
Rock solid.
I'm moving as fast as I can.
Caught between a rock... and a hard place.
A religious zealot dedicated to the unification of all life, Malzahar truly believes the newly emergent Void to be the gateway to Runeterra's salvation. In the desert wastes of Shurima, he opened his mind to the universe, and the whispers that answered led him to Icathia. Amidst the ruins of that land, he gazed into the dark heart of the Void itself—and Malzahar emerged changed, a shepherd empowered to bring others into the fold… or to release the voidling creatures that dwell beneath. As a child, Malzahar lost his family and was forced to live alone, which gave him great sadness and also a sense of empathy towards others less fortunate. After becoming a famous fortune-teller, Malzahar took joy in helping others make choices about their futures and guiding their lives to a better path. Despite this, he was still unhappy, as his experiences with others made him see more and more human misery. This made Malzahar lose hope in humanity, which led to him coming to Icathia and embracing the Void. As The Prophet Of the Void, Malzahar is fanatically devoted to the powers of the Void, regularly sacrificing entire cities to the Void.
Oblivion awaits!
Second sight ordains it.
Bow to the void! Or be consumed by it!
Maokai is a rageful, towering treant who fights the unnatural horrors of the Shadow Isles. He was twisted into a force of vengeance after a magical cataclysm destroyed his home, surviving undeath only through the waters of life infused within his heartwood. Once a peaceful nature spirit, Maokai now furiously battles to banish the scourge of unlife from the Shadow Isles and restore his home to its former beauty.
The Isles will bloom again!
Life can come back, once the earth is turned.
If I am already lost, I will take them with me.
Master Yi has tempered his body and sharpened his mind, so that thought and action have become almost as one. Though he chooses to enter into violence only as a last resort, the grace and speed of his blade ensure resolution is always swift. As one of the last living practitioners of the Ionian art of Wuju, Yi has devoted his life to continuing the legacy of his people—scrutinizing potential new disciples with the Seven Lenses of Insight to identify the most worthy among them.
My blade is yours.
The focused mind can pierce through stone.
You wish to learn the hard way, I see.
A Bilgewater captain famed for her looks but feared for her ruthlessness, Sarah Fortune paints a stark figure among the hardened criminals of the port city. As a child, she witnessed the reaver king Gangplank murder her family—an act she brutally avenged years later, blowing up his flagship while he was still aboard. Those who underestimate her will face a beguiling and unpredictable opponent... and, likely, a bullet or two in their guts.
Fortune doesn't favor fools.
You've got dangerous eyes... I like that.
Watch your mouth, kid, or you'll find yourself respawning at home!
Twice slain and thrice born, Mordekaiser is a brutal warlord from a foregone epoch, who uses his necromantic sorcery to bind souls into an eternity of servitude. Few now remain who remember his earlier conquests, or know the true extent of his powers—but some ancient souls do, and they fear the day when he may return to claim dominion over both the living and the dead. Mordekaiser is a brutal warlord that desires to conquer everything and destroy all those that stand in their way.
Destiny. Domination. Deceit.
The world has tried to forget my existence, time to remind them why they fear.
Mortals plan in fear for tomorrow, I build for eternity.
Conflicted between her celestial and mortal natures, Morgana bound her wings to embrace humanity and inflicts her pain and bitterness upon the dishonest and the corrupt. She rejects laws and traditions she believes are unjust and fights for truth from the shadows of Demacia—even as others seek to repress it—by casting shields and chains of dark fire. More than anything else, Morgana truly believes that even the banished and outcast may one day rise again. Contradicting everything they think of her, Morgana is not the "evil twin"; she is just an incarnation of the other side of justice, while her sister Kayle represents blind justice, Morgana represents compassionate justice that consists of listening to reasons first. by which sinners were converted. sinners and decide whether or not to punish them, indicating that Morgana is fair and compassionate towards people. At first, she rejected her celestial powers and which caused them to become corrupted, but she sees them as a perfect weapon to punish fairly and compassionately, so as not to forget her humanity and her emotions, since she could not cut her wings she tied them, having her wings tied together symbolizes that she still has humanity inside her and although Kayle is her rival, deep down she still loves her and wishes that one day they can be together again as sisters and not as enemies.
I am bound, but I will not break.
The trials I endured were seared into my soul, they drive me forward even after my wounds have healed.
I prefer an honest sinner over a righteous liar.
A headstrong young vastaya of the seas, Nami was the first of the Marai tribe to leave the waves and venture onto dry land, when their ancient accord with the Targonians was broken. With no other option, she took it upon herself to complete the sacred ritual that would ensure the safety of her people. Amidst the chaos of this new age, Nami faces an uncertain future with grit and determination, using her Tidecaller staff to summon the strength of the oceans themselves. Nami is a very kind and friendly individual, but she is also extremely protective and determined in her duty to protect her people, the Marai and she is loyal to her cause.
I decide what the tide will bring.
I still hear the song of the sea.

Nasus is an imposing, jackal-headed Ascended being from ancient Shurima, a heroic figure regarded as a demigod by the people of the desert. Fiercely intelligent, he was a guardian of knowledge and a peerless strategist whose wisdom guided the ancient empire of Shurima to greatness for many centuries. After the fall of the empire, he went into self-imposed exile, becoming little more than a legend. Now that the ancient city of Shurima has risen once more, he has returned, determined to ensure it never falls again.
The cycle of life and death continues. We will live, they will die.
Burdens sleep best in their tombs.
Your legacy shall drift away; blown into eternity, like the sands of the desert.
A lonely legend as old as the first piers sunk in Bilgewater, the armored goliath known as Nautilus roams the dark waters off the coast of the Blue Flame Isles. Driven by a forgotten betrayal, he strikes without warning, swinging his enormous anchor to save the wretched, and drag the greedy to their doom. It is said he comes for those who forget to pay the "Bilgewater tithe", pulling them down beneath the waves with him—an iron-clad reminder that none can escape the depths.
Beware the depths.
Do you hear them calling?
You are in the deep end now!

Sharing memories, colors, feelings is magic! Magic connects people.

Nilah is an ascetic warrior from a distant land, seeking the world’s deadliest, most titanic opponents so that she might challenge and destroy them. Having won her power through an encounter with the long-imprisoned demon of joy, she has no emotions other than unceasing jubilation—a small price to pay for the vast strength she now possesses. Channeling the demon’s liquid form into a blade of unparalleled might, she stands defiant against ancient threats long forgotten. In Nilah's original life, she was interested in books and reading about legends, taking interest in uncovering the legends she had read about, which influenced her to set out to the prison of Ashlesh in the hopes of finding a heroic destiny. After taming Ashlesh's power, Nilah has now become a passionate and fearless heroine with a goal to protect the helpless. Nilah can only feel joy due to Ashlesh suppressing her other emotions, causing her to emote only happiness and positivity but being unable to lament the sorrows of her life, even if she is aware of them.
Joy, unceasing and forever!
I am unbound from the world, mighty and joyous. May evil tremble before me.
I need only three weapons: water, muscle, mind.
A demonic amalgamation drawn from the nightmares that haunt every sentient mind, the thing known as Nocturne has become a primordial force of pure terror. It is liquidly chaotic in aspect, a faceless shadow with cold eyes and armed with wicked-looking blades. After freeing itself from the spirit realm, Nocturne now continually descends upon the waking world, to feed on the kind of fear that can only thrive in true darkness.
Embrace the darkness.
People are flames to be blotted out.
Bring me more flesh bags to slice up!
Once upon a time, there was a boy who wanted to prove he was a hero by slaying a fearsome monster—only to discover that the beast, a lonely and magical yeti, merely needed a friend. Bound together by ancient power and a shared love of snowballs, Nunu and Willump now ramble wildly across the Freljord, breathing life into imagined adventures. They hope that somewhere out there, they will find Nunu’s mother. If they can save her, maybe they will be heroes after all… Nunu is a kind, excitable child, eager for adventures and traveling. Having listened to the stories of his mother since he was born, Nunu dreams of being a mighty hero, fighting against terrible foes, and exploring the world. After the loss of his tribe, Nunu felt great sorrow but remained hopeful. Desiring to help his new caretaker Lissandra, and wishing to fulfill his dreams of being a hero, Nunu went to face a terrible beast and prove himself a hero for his people, only to meet Willump and befriend the yeti, the two forming an intense and loving bond. Having been protected by Willump for a long time Nunu is somewhat sheltered from the more complicated and darker aspects of life, he tends to see the best of people, for good or for worst and tries to insert them into his very naive beliefs about the world. Nunu also has hyperactive imagination, often coming up with fantasy ideas to entertain himself and Willump.
Every adventure is better with a friend! (Willump noises) (Nunu Laughs)
And so they traveled, over mountains and glaciers. And this one time, there was a village full of people turned into stone! (Willump noises) We couldn't help them. (Willump noises) But we're gonna help everyone else!
If you could do anything, Willump, what would you do? (Willump noises) Scratch behind your ears?! That's not an adventure! (Willump noises)

The might of Lokfar approaches!
The worth of a man can be measured by the length of his beard, and the girth of his belt buckle.
Once a curious girl of flesh and blood, Orianna is now a technological marvel comprised entirely of clockwork. She became gravely ill after an accident in the lower districts of Zaun, and her failing body had to be replaced with exquisite artifice, piece by piece. Accompanied by the extraordinary brass orb that houses her hextech heart, Orianna is now free to explore the wonders of Piltover, and beyond. Orianna was helpful and altruistic, willing to do whatever it takes to help others even when dissuaded and often sacrificed herself in numerous ways to offer others a chance to live. She enjoyed crafting like her father, but as she became more robotic she became more detached from her humanity, yet still retained her concern towards her father. She transplanted her own heart into her father as she saw it as the most logical option. After becoming fully robotic, she now wishes to find her place in the world as a robot retaining her human memories. Orianna has trouble expressing her emotions but is still capable of feeling them. She initially felt love towards Fieram due to being an automaton like her, even going as far as to attack the watchmen due to believing they were trying to stop her from freeing him. When he turned out just to be a robot following his programming, she was saddened and left feeling defeated.
We will kill your enemies. That will be fun.
The ball is impatient.
I know what makes them tick. I know how to make the ticking stop.
Ornn is the Freljordian demi-god of forging and craftsmanship. He works in the solitude of a massive smithy, hammered out from the lava caverns beneath the volcano Hearth-Home. There he stokes bubbling cauldrons of molten rock to purify ores and fashion items of unsurpassed quality. When other deities—especially Volibear—walk the earth and meddle in mortal affairs, Ornn arises to put these impetuous beings back in their place, either with his trusty hammer or the fiery power of the mountains themselves. Ornn is a quiet and stoic individual, not bothering or interacting with anybody unless they come to him. Ornn often will not do things unless he deems it necessary, even using the shortest sentences he can to get his point across. Ornn is dedicated to his craft and works day and night, and while he takes satisfaction in his work, he does not appraise it, instead electing to let good work speak for itself. He is apathetic to many things, including the people around him. The only people Ornn has ever truly admired or respected were the Hearthblood, and the destruction of their people hurt his soul more than anything else in this world. He has not cared about anyone or anything else since.
Fine, we go.
The Freljord is a place for building, fighting, and eating. Home sweet home.
It is childish to favor one tool over another, but Hammer is my favorite.
Once an unwilling host to the Aspect of War, Atreus survived when the celestial power within him was slain, refusing to succumb to a blow that tore stars from the heavens. In time, he learned to embrace the power of his mortality, and the stubborn resilience that goes along with it. Atreus now opposes the divine as Pantheon reborn, his unbreakable will fueling the fallen Aspect’s weapons on the field of battle. Stoic and unwavering, Atreus as Pantheon possesses a strong fighting spirit. As the stalwart defender of humanity, Pantheon often feels over-encumbered by his duties and his expectations as an Aspect. Despite his failings, he presses forward stubbornly, and he encourages all of his compatriots to do the same. He is not very accepting of most god-like beings with immense powers, which include Aspects, Darkins, Ascendants, and demons alike. Given his own experience with War, Pantheon is hesitant in placing his trust in greater powers, preferring to rely on his own mortal will to fight his battles.
In battle, we are reborn.
I fight until the blood takes the spear from my grasp, until I can only crawl. And even then, you will not defeat me, even then, I will spit in your face!
Onward! The spear points in only one direction.
Runeterra has no shortage of valiant champions, but few are as tenacious as Poppy. Bearing the legendary hammer of Orlon, a weapon twice her size, this determined yordle has spent untold years searching in secret for the fabled “Hero of Demacia,” said to be its rightful wielder. Until then, she dutifully charges into battle, pushing back the kingdom's enemies with every whirling strike.
I'm no hero—just a Yordle with a hammer.
The hammer isn't mine, just keeping it until the real guy shows up.
If you're waiting for me to give up, you might be here a while.
A renowned harpooner from the slaughter docks of Bilgewater, Pyke should have met his death in the belly of a gigantic jaull-fish; and yet, he returned. Now, stalking the dank alleys and backways of his former hometown, he uses his new supernatural gifts to bring a swift and gruesome end to those who make their fortune by exploiting others—and a city that prides itself on hunting monsters now finds a monster hunting them.
Sink 'em all.
I was born where monsters die, I died where monsters are born.
Sometimes a shark takes the bait, and sinks the whole ship.
In the jungle city of Ixaocan, Qiyana plots her ruthless path to the high seat of the Yun Tal. Last in line to succeed her parents, she faces those who stand in her way with brash confidence and unprecedented mastery over elemental magic. With the land itself obeying her every command, Qiyana sees herself as the greatest elementalist in the history of Ixaocan—and by that right, deserving of not only a city but an empire. Though she does possess the skill to back it up, Qiyana is a proud and arrogant woman who brags often and loudly for all to hear about her prowess with elemental magic, her ostentatious nature reflected even in her choice of attire. She thinks very highly of herself and is fully convinced she deserves the throne regardless of her place in the line of succession. She is extremely competitive, proactive, and determined. When challenged by her older sister Inessa to ritual combat, Qiyana displayed a ruthless side by not only rising to the challenge but crippling her sister in the fight to assert how seriously she takes her desire to rise to the top and ultimately become Empress.
You may now appreciate me.
Congratulations, you have Qiyana. The other side, they have no Qiyana.
If they want to worship me... hmph, I will not stop them.
Sponsored by the noble Buvelle family, Quinn is a ranger-knight of Demacia who undertakes dangerous missions deep in enemy territory. She and her legendary eagle, Valor, share an unbreakable bond, and their foes are often slain before they realize they are fighting not one, but two of the kingdom’s greatest heroes. Nimble and acrobatic, Quinn aims with her crossbow while Valor marks their elusive targets from above, making them a deadly pair on the battlefield. Quinn is friendly and well-liked with her subordinate rangers, rarely using her superior position to give direct orders. She takes her duty seriously and always tries to protect those she is in charge of. She does what is right, even when it goes against the rules or the law. She is generally wary of strangers and "doesn't like people overmuch as a rule". She is more comfortable alone in the wild than with company. Cithria notes that she exudes an "easy confidence".
Justice takes wing.
A bird's eye view is the best advantage.
Valor's shadow is the last thing you'll see.
As mercurial as he is charming, Rakan is an infamous vastayan troublemaker and the greatest battle-dancer in Lhotlan tribal history. To the humans of the Ionian highlands, his name had long been synonymous with wild festivals, uncontrollable parties, and anarchic music. But this energetic, traveling showman has left his old life behind, dedicating himself to the cause of his lover, the rebel Xayah. Together, they seek to free Ionia’s wild magic, restoring the vastaya’s birthright.
Let's dance.
My fellow travelers, you are all about to witness my majestic epicness! ... unless I get killed, but... probably not!
Magic is supposed to be scary. Love is supposed to hurt. Ecstasy needs a little fear.
Idolized by many, dismissed by some, and mystifying to all, the curious being, Rammus, is an enigma. Protected by a Spiked Shell, Rammus inspires increasingly disparate theories on his origin wherever he goes - from demigod to sacred oracle, to a mere beast transformed by magic. Whatever the truth may be, Rammus keeps his own counsel and stops for no one as he roams the desert. Rammus has a calm demeanor, approaching situations in a relaxed state.
OK.
Hm.
Alright.
An apex predator, Rek'Sai is a merciless Void-spawn that tunnels beneath the ground to ambush and devour unsuspecting prey. Her insatiable hunger has laid waste to entire regions of the once-great empire of Shurima—merchants, traders, even armed caravans, will go hundreds of miles out of their way to avoid her and her offspring's hunting grounds. All know that once Rek'Sai is seen on the horizon, death from below is all but guaranteed. Rek'Sai is a primitive, animalistic predator who only communicates through roars and chitters. Her main drive is to burrow through the Shuriman desert and savagely consume every lesser being she senses. She has a motherly care towards her brood and wants to protect them from Bel'Veth, who mentions that the Watchers did not originally create her with these instincts.

The product of brutal experimentation at the hands of the Black Rose, Rell is a defiant, living weapon determined to topple Noxus. Her childhood was one of misery and horror, enduring unspeakable procedures to perfect and weaponize her magical control over metal... until she made a violent escape, killing many of her captors in the process. Now branded as a criminal, Rell attacks Noxian soldiers on sight as she searches for survivors of her old “academy”, defending the meek while delivering merciless death to her former instructors. Rell is impulsive, restless, and aggressive. Her trauma at the Black Rose's academy has made her vengeful and misanthropic, having a distrustful attitude towards most people and feeling no hesitation to kill. She feels nothing but hatred towards the Black Rose for their atrocities and Noxus as a whole for ignoring them. Despite this, she still cares about her fellow students of the Black Rose academy and wants to rescue them. To her allies, she takes on a protective role as she rallies them to fight alongside her but occasionally shows a gentler side by feeling gratitude if they help her. Rell is also shown to be easily flustered towards those she feels a romantic attraction to. She is hinted to be bisexual, having romantic feelings for both males and females.
Nothing gets in, no one gets out.
Run 'em all down! We're good, they're bad, and that's all you need to know.
I'd rather break rules than people, but I can make exceptions.
Renata Glasc rose from the ashes of her childhood home with nothing but her name and her parents’ alchemical research. In the decades since, she has become Zaun’s wealthiest chem-baron, a business magnate who built her power by tying everyone’s interests to her own. Work with her, and be rewarded beyond measure. Work against her, and live to regret it. But everyone comes to her side, eventually. Renata Glasc is a cunning and ruthless woman, determined to achieve her goals no matter what, having build her convictions on her past and doing anything to achieve her goals. Having survived the brutality of Zaun's streets, Renata decided to never again be put down. Unlike other chembarons, Renata prefers to avoid violence, and instead resorts to manipulation, convincing others to do her bidding and satisfy her desires by tying their interest together, thus putting them in debt to her. To manipulate the masses, she often feigns benevolence, taking advantage of crises and tragedies to make herself a savior. The trauma from her loss has made her deeply resentful of the idea of charity, deeming it foolish. She has a particular hatred towards Janna for not helping her family when she was young.
It's 'Miss Glasc'... if you value your life.
Every fashionable Piltovan owns at least one of my products. So trusting, so naive.
Progress comes at a price others aren't willing to pay.
Renekton is a terrifying, rage-fueled Ascended being from the scorched deserts of Shurima. Once, he was his empire's most esteemed warrior, leading the armies of Shurima to countless victories. However, after the empire's fall, Renekton was entombed beneath the sands, and slowly, as the world turned and changed, he succumbed to insanity. Now free once more, he is utterly consumed with finding and killing his brother, Nasus, who he blames, in his madness, for the centuries he spent in darkness.
As I live, all will die!
They will feel pain they've never imagined!
Nasus cannot escape me forever!
Rengar is a ferocious vastayan trophy hunter who lives for the thrill of tracking down and killing dangerous creatures. He scours the world for the most fearsome beasts he can find, especially seeking any trace of Kha'Zix, the void creature who scratched out his eye. Rengar stalks his prey neither for food nor glory, but for the sheer beauty of the pursuit.
Tonight, we hunt!
There is the hunter and the hunted.
You have a warrior's heart. I think I'll take it.
Once a swordmaster in the warhosts of Noxus, Riven rose through the ranks on the strength of her conviction and brutal efficiency and was rewarded with a legendary runic blade and a Warband of her own. However, on the Ionian front, Riven's faith in her nation was tested and ultimately broken. She severed all ties to the empire, seeking to find her place in a shattered world, even as rumors abounded that Noxus had been reforged. Now forced to return in chains, she faces the judgment of her former homeland... She was ruthless and efficient as a warrior, but her true strength lay in her conviction. She entered battles without any trace of doubt in her mind: no ethical pause, no fear of death. She is a determined and fiercely devoted individual with internal discipline.
What is broken can be reforged.
My spirit is not lost.
A broken blade is more than enough for the likes of you!
Rumble is a young inventor with a temper. Using nothing more than his own two hands and a heap of scrap, the feisty yordle constructed a colossal mech suit outfitted with an arsenal of electrified harpoons and incendiary rockets. Though others may scoff and sneer at his junkyard creations, Rumble doesn't mind—after all, he's the one with the flamespitter.
Let's get in the fight!
You don't have to tell me twice.
Come on, I'm not even holding the controls!
Widely considered one of the most adept sorcerers on Runeterra, Ryze is an ancient, hard-bitten archmage with an impossibly heavy burden to bear. Armed with immense arcane power and a boundless constitution, he tirelessly hunts for World Runes — fragments of the raw magic that once shaped the world from nothingness. He must retrieve these artifacts before they fall into the wrong hands, for Ryze understands the horrors they could unleash on Runeterra.
A step ahead of cataclysm.
I find the runes so they won't be found by someone else - or some thing.
They want to read my scroll. It'll be the last thing they read.
Samira stares death in the eye with unyielding confidence, seeking thrill wherever she goes. After her Shuriman home was destroyed as a child, Samira found her true calling in Noxus, where she built a reputation as a stylish daredevil taking on dangerous missions of the highest caliber. Wielding black-powder pistols and a custom-engineered blade, Samira thrives in life-or-death circumstances, eliminating any who stand in her way with flash and flair.
You want style? You've found her.
I've got two rules for every fight. Don't ask for permission, don't ask for forgiveness.
Virtues? I've got a few. Vices? Heh, a few more.
Sejuani is the brutal, unforgiving Iceborn warmother of the Winter's Claw, one of the most feared tribes of the Freljord. Her people's survival is a constant, desperate battle against the elements, forcing them to raid Noxians, Demacians, and Avarosans alike to survive the harsh winters. Sejuani herself spearheads the most dangerous of these attacks from the saddle of her drüvask boar Bristle, using her True Ice flail to freeze and shatter her enemies.
Trust nothing but your strength.
I will not hide behind another shield.
Don't worry, Bristle, I'll leave you the scraps.
Cursed from childhood to be haunted by the supernatural Black Mist, Senna joined a sacred order known as the Sentinels of Light and fiercely fought back—only to be killed: her soul imprisoned in a lantern by the cruel wraith Thresh. But refusing to lose hope, within the lantern Senna learned to use the Mist, and reemerged to new life, forever changed. Now wielding darkness along with light, Senna seeks to end the Black Mist by turning it against itself—with every blast of her relic weapon, redeeming the souls lost within.
No one fights alone in the Mist.
Come back to life... save the world... all with weapons locked. The sentinels trained me right.
It's always dark on the horizon if you only look up during storms.
Born in Piltover to Zaunite parents, Seraphine can hear the souls of others—the world sings to her, and she sings back. Though these sounds overwhelmed her in her youth, she now draws on them for inspiration, turning the chaos into a symphony. She performs for the sister cities to remind their citizens that they’re not alone, that they’re stronger together, and that, in her eyes, their potential is limitless. Seraphine is a warm, friendly person and very fond of music, when she was a child she liked to play in her parents' workshop when her magic power grew she became somewhat withdrawn as she heard many voices and could not hear herself, her parents created some special hearing aids for her that helped her control that power. When she came down to the city of Zaun, she was overcome with many emotions, most of them negative due to Piltover's contempt for Zaun. When she sang for the first time at the border of the two cities, she proudly saw how the people of both cities lived in harmony, so she set herself a goal that through her music she would unite the two neighboring cities.
Let's change the world!
Wow. All these songs sound amazing. I'll bring them into harmony!
It's harder to stumble on this stage, but it sure does hurt more.
A leader of Ionia’s growing criminal underworld, Sett rose to prominence in the wake of the war with Noxus. Though he began as a humble challenger in the fighting pits of Navori, he quickly gained notoriety for his savage strength, and his ability to take seemingly endless amounts of punishment. After fighting his way through the ranks of local combatants, Sett muscled to the top, seizing control of the pits he once fought in.
I'm undisputed.
Okay, everyone here knows how to throw a punch, right? 'Cause I don't have time for lessons.
I don't like hurtin' people. I like the money I get from hurtin' people.
Crafted long ago as a plaything for a lonely prince, the enchanted marionette Shaco now delights in murder and mayhem. Corrupted by dark magic and the loss of his beloved charge, the once-kind puppet finds pleasure only in the misery of the poor souls he torments. He uses toys and simple tricks to deadly effect, finding the results of his bloody “games” hilarious—and for those who hear a dark chuckle in the dead of night, the Demon Jester may have marked them as his next plaything. Shaco is an insane individual, committing atrocities just because he feels like it. He delights in others' pain and often finds what he does funny. There is no real motive for his crimes, although it is possible that he only does these things to entertain himself.
How about a magic trick?
Why so serious?
For my next trick, I'll make you disappear!
Among the secretive, Ionian warriors known as the Kinkou, Shen serves as their leader, the Eye of Twilight. He longs to remain free from the confusion of emotion, prejudice, and ego and walks the unseen path of dispassionate judgment between the spirit realm and the physical world. Tasked with enforcing the equilibrium between them, Shen wields blades of steel and arcane energy against any who would threaten it.
A demonstration of superior judgment.
There is no dispute.
You're already dead, you just haven't caught up yet.
Shyvana is a creature with pure elemental magic blazing in her heart. Though she most often appears humanoid, she can take her true form when necessary—that of a fearsome dragon, incinerating her foes with fiery breath. Having saved the life of the crown prince Jarvan IV, Shyvana now serves uneasily in his royal guard, struggling to find acceptance among the suspicious people of Demacia.
They are nothing before me.
The enemies of Demacia will fall.
Come get a glimpse into the belly of the beast!
Singed is a Zaunite alchemist of unmatched intellect, who has devoted his life to pushing the boundaries of knowledge—with no price, even his sanity, too high to pay. Is there a method to his madness? His concoctions rarely fail, but it appears to many that Singed has lost all sense of humanity, leaving a toxic trail of misery and terror in his wake. Singed is a cruel, heartless scientist with no regard for his victims, performing depraved experiments on his test subjects in the belief that they would become superior beings while subjecting them to physical and mental suffering with no remorse and seeing them as nothing more than lesser creatures or objects to experiment on. He is a perfectionist who doesn't like when people fail at his high standards and feels nothing but disappointment when they die.
How about a drink?
To shake, or not to shake.
Mix, mix, swirl, mix.
A brutal warlord from a bygone era, Sion was revered in Noxus for choking the life out of a Demacian king with his bare hands—but, denied the peace of death, he was resurrected to serve his empire once more. His indiscriminate slaughter claims all who stand in his way, regardless of allegiance, proving he has retained little of his former humanity. With crude armor bolted onto his rotten flesh, Sion continues to charge into battle with reckless abandon, struggling to remember his true self between the swings of his mighty axe.
Rest is for the living.
No... pain... no... feeling... but hunger...
Your snapping bones are music to my ears!
Sivir is a renowned fortune hunter and mercenary captain who plies her trade in the deserts of Shurima. Armed with her legendary jeweled crossblade, she has fought and won countless battles for those who can afford her exorbitant price. Known for her fearless resolve and endless ambition, she prides herself on recovering buried treasures from the perilous tombs of Shurima - for a generous bounty. With ancient forces stirring the very bones of Shurima, Sivir finds herself torn between conflicting destinies. Sivir is possessed of a mercenaries' code of values and isn't motivated by anything as much as material wealth. Causes, nobility, and matter of honor pale in her eyes when compared to the alluring clinking of coins. Shaped by a harsh childhood spent trying to survive and make a living in the Shuriman Sai while always on the lookout for betrayal, Sivir is inherently a distrustful person. This is evidenced by her being slow to let down her guard around Taliyah even though the Stoneweaver had been the one to rescue Sivir and stitch her wounds after finding her bleeding outside Vekaura. Sivir's pragmatic self-interest plays a large part in why she doesn't embrace her role as Azir's heir, preferring her modest life as a mercenary/fortune hunter while avoiding the destiny seemingly placed before her.
I always take my toll - blood, or gold.
I'll fight for a cause. I won't die for one.
Look up. See the buzzards circling?
One of the brackern, Skarner is an immense crystalline scorpion from a hidden valley in Shurima. Known for their great wisdom and deep connection to magic, the brackern’s bodies are fused with powerful life crystals which hold the living thoughts and memories of their ancestors. In an age long past, they entered hibernation to avoid destruction—but recent, threatening events have roused Skarner, and he now strives to protect his dormant kin from those who would harm them.
My stinger brings ugly death.
The Crystal Scar is weeping.
I... am... ancient! You are nothing more than an insect to me!
Sona is a virtuoso of the stringed etwahl, speaking only through her graceful chords and vibrant arias. Her genteel manner has endeared her to the Demacian nobility, though some speculate her arresting melodies emanate magic—a dangerous prospect in the kingdom. Silent to outsiders but understood easily enough by close companions, Sona plucks her harmonies not only to soothe injured allies but also to strike down unsuspecting enemies.
What masterpiece shall we play today?
I never could refuse an empty stage. Not even this one.
A wrong note is just...a happy little accident.
A wanderer from the celestial dimensions beyond Mount Targon, Soraka gave up her immortality to protect the mortal races from their own more violent instincts. She endeavors to spread the virtues of compassion and mercy to everyone she meets—even healing those who would wish harm upon her. And, for all Soraka has seen of this world's struggles, she still believes the people of Runeterra have yet to reach their full potential. Soraka is a very kind and humble individual, but she is also extremely protective and caring for those who follow her and who rely on her guidance. she is faithful to her cause in wanting to help those in need and always seeks to help those who seek help. Despite this, Soraka believes in free will above everything else. Although she offers guidance, the offered must accept being guided and healed for her to be capable of helping. She offers numerous paths to mortals, but only they may choose the way they will walk.
Let me guide you.
Every step, a new journey.
No, I'm not happy to see you. Yes, that is a horn growing out of my head.
Jericho Swain is the visionary ruler of Noxus, an expansionist nation that reveres only strength. Though he was cast down and crippled in the Ionian wars, his left arm severed, he seized control of the empire with ruthless determination...and a new, demonic hand. Now, Swain commands from the front lines, marching against a coming darkness that only he can see—in glimpses gathered by shadowy ravens from the corpses all around him. In a swirl of sacrifice and secrets, the greatest secret of all is that the true enemy lies within. Swain is cold and calculating, often seeing people's lives as pieces in a bigger game. He is a master tactician and general, able to predict his enemies' next move with his cunning intellect and win battles swiftly and efficiently. Swain does not often act in his interests, rather doing whatever is best for Noxus, as he knows that the empire is much more important than him, and he is committed to returning it to its foundations and making sure that it outlasts him.
Fear the power you do not see.
The outcome was decided when they brought an army, and I brought a demon.
Every day I rule, Noxus becomes a more perfect expression of my will.
Sylas of Dregbourne has come to symbolize the darker side of the Great City. As a boy, his ability to root out hidden sorcery caught the attention of the notorious mageseekers, who eventually imprisoned him for turning those same powers against them. Having now broken free, Sylas lives as a hardened revolutionary, using the magic of those around him to destroy the kingdom he once served… and his band of outcast mage followers seems to grow by the day. Sylas is a ruthless, determined rebel who opposes Demacia's unfair persecution of mages regardless of their intentions. When he was younger, he initially wanted to protect his fellow mages from being harmed by his Mageseeker associates, but after the incident which got him imprisoned, Sylas grew to resent the kingdom after fifteen years of imprisonment. After being freed, he took on the role of a martyr for his fellow mages, inspiring them to join his rebellion. His current goal is to raze Demacia to the ground, with no prospect of the aftermath.
No more cages!
Those who wait to be freed do not deserve freedom. Onwards, brothers and sisters!
A shepherd with no flock is just an idiot with a stick.
Syndra is a fearsome Ionian mage with incredible power at her command. As a child, she disturbed the village elders with her reckless and wild magic. She was sent away to be taught greater control but eventually discovered her supposed mentor was restraining her abilities. Forming her feelings of betrayal and hurt into dark spheres of energy, Syndra has sworn to destroy all who would try to control her. As a child Syndra was a very withdrawn girl due to the constant abuse of her family, over time that sadness turned into rage and she just wanted to be left alone. During her time in Ionia's temple, she learned to better manage her powers and receive some of the love and compassion she didn't receive as a child. When she grew up she only wanted to increase her magical power and didn't want to be held back or manipulated for it, so she left the Ionians to her fate the same way they left her. Even so, Syndra is not evil herself, since she only kills when someone bothers her, regardless of whether they are Ionian or Noxian.
So much untapped power!
People fear what they cannot understand.
A legion couldn't stop me. What chance do you have?
Known by many names throughout history, the demon Tahm Kench travels the waterways of Runeterra, feeding his insatiable appetite with the misery of others. Though he may appear singularly charming and proud, he swaggers through the physical realm like a vagabond in search of unsuspecting prey. His lashing tongue can stun even a heavily armored warrior from a dozen paces, and to fall into his rumbling belly is to tumble into an abyss from which there is little hope of return. Tahm Kench is a voracious being that is constantly hungry and craves nothing more than indulge himself with as much as he can consume. He is cruel and manipulative, taking advantage of those that are vulnerable to make them make deals with him, using an affable façade to trick others into trusting him, and using their desires to lure them to their doom.
Call me king, call me demon. Water forgets the names of the drowned.
I see nothing splendiferous in this table's offerings!
I refuse to succumb to culinary degradation!
Taliyah is a nomadic mage from Shurima, torn between teenage wonder and adult responsibility. She has crossed nearly all of Valoran on a journey to learn the true nature of her growing powers, though more recently she has returned to protect her tribe. Some have mistaken her compassion for weakness and paid the ultimate price—for beneath Taliyah's youthful demeanor is a will strong enough to move mountains, and a spirit fierce enough to make the earth itself tremble. Taliyah is a kind, compassionate young woman with a strong will. She is deeply devoted to her homeland and the people in it, dedicating herself to protecting them from both Shuriman and outside threats. Her confidence was bolstered by Yasuo, as he taught her how to control her power over stone.
Know the loom. Be the stone.
Every tapestry begins with a single stitch.
Keep your eyes on the horizon and your feet on the ground.
Talon is the knife in the darkness, a merciless killer able to strike without warning and escape before any alarm is raised. He carved out a dangerous reputation on the brutal streets of Noxus, where he was forced to fight, kill, and steal to survive. Adopted by the notorious Du Couteau family, he now plies his deadly trade at the empire's command, assassinating enemy leaders, captains, and heroes… as well as any Noxian foolish enough to earn the scorn of their masters.
Live and die by the blade.
Your allegiances mean nothing to me.
Eventually, my blades will find their way into your heart.
Taric is host to the Aspect of the Protector, wielding incredible power as Runeterra's guardian of life, love, and beauty. Shamed by a dereliction of duty and exiled from his homeland of Demacia, Taric climbed Mount Targon to find redemption, only to discover a higher calling among the stars. Imbued with the might of a celestial being, the “Shield of Valoran” now stands ever vigilant, against any who would threaten the people of this world.
That glimmer of hope you see, that's me.
There is great power in the stars. Great danger as well.
Human life is fleeting, a mountain's life less so, but stars... stars are eternal.
Undeterred by even the most dangerous and threatening of obstacles, Teemo scouts the world with boundless enthusiasm and a cheerful spirit. A yordle with an unwavering sense of morality, he takes pride in following the Bandle Scout's Code, sometimes with such eagerness that he is unaware of the broader consequences of his actions. Though some say the existence of the Scouts is questionable, one thing is for certain: Teemo's conviction is nothing to be trifled with.
Captain Teemo on duty.
Armed and ready.
Never underestimate the power of the Scout's code.
Sadistic and cunning, Thresh is an ambitious and restless spirit of the Shadow Isles. Once the custodian of countless arcane secrets, he sought a power greater than life or death, and now sustains himself by tormenting and breaking others with slow, excruciating inventiveness. His victims suffer far beyond their brief mortal coil as Thresh wreaks agony upon their souls, imprisoning them in his unholy lantern to torture for all eternity. As a human, Grael dedicated his work to become recognized throughout Helia, but was narcissistic and spiteful, seeing himself as being worthy of recognition. He believed himself to be perfect and felt bitter towards anyone who stopped his goals, to the point where he had no problem in causing the deaths of his fellow monks to develop his progress. Observers described Grael as being unsettling and having darkness within his mind. After becoming Thresh, he embraced his true cruelty and hatred without anyone stopping him. He is a psychopathic sadist who delights in making others suffer even after death, by tearing out his victims' souls and leaving them to suffer within his lantern, even mocking his victims' loved ones. He enjoys antagonizing Lucian the most, after imprisoning the soul of his wife Senna, and taunting Lucian with Senna's soul on ransom. When Senna escaped, Thresh decided to let them win so he could torment them in the future. Thresh is also known for manipulating others for his gain, such as influencing Viego after reviving him so the deaths he caused would empower Thresh to become unbound, freeing him from his perpetual imprisonment in the Shadow Isles and granting him the power to move around Runeterra. Adopting a new human form, Thresh traveled to Noxus where he met Bort. A luckless waiter in a Noxian Inn who had been cursed with a crustacean arm after trying to steal from a mage and consequently was abused and ridiculed by fellow staff and customers alike for his clumsiness and unfortunate condition. Sensing potential in Bort, Thresh murdered all those who had previously mocked him and offered to free Bort from his deformity. Gladly accepting the offer, Bort became Thresh's Phantom carriage driver. Now in command of those who had tormented him, Bort whips and taunts the trapped souls who pull Thresh's carriage as Thresh himself travels deeper into Noxus.
What delightful agony we shall inflict.
Torment comes in so many flavors.
You're falling apart. What to do with the pieces?
While many other yordles channel their energy into discovery, invention, or just plain mischief-making, Tristana was always inspired by the adventures of great warriors. She had heard much about Runeterra, its factions, and its wars, and believed her kind could become worthy of legend too. Setting foot in the world for the first time, she took up her trusty cannon Boomer and now leaps into battle with steadfast courage and optimism.
Once a Bandle gunner, always a Bandle gunner!
I bravely volunteer to charge in recklessly!
If it's worth shooting once, it's probably worth shooting a lot!
Trundle is a hulking and devious troll with a particularly vicious streak, and there is nothing he cannot bludgeon into submission—not even the Freljord itself. Fiercely territorial, he chases down anyone foolish enough to enter his domain. Then, his massive club of True Ice at the ready, he chills his enemies to the bone and impales them with jagged, frozen pillars, laughing as they bleed out onto the tundra.
Time to troll!
I'm not ugly, but they're about to be!
I'm gonna crush your dreams... They're in your skull, right?
Fueled by unbridled fury and rage, Tryndamere once carved his way through the Freljord, openly challenging the greatest warriors of the north to prepare himself for even darker days ahead. The wrathful barbarian has long sought revenge for the annihilation of his clan, though more recently he has found companionship with Ashe, the Avarosan warmother, and a home with her people. His almost inhuman strength and fortitude are legendary and have delivered him and his new allies countless victories against the greatest of odds.
This'll be a slaughter.
I am your worst nightmare!
You never stood a chance.
Twisted Fate is an infamous cardshark and swindler who has gambled and charmed his way across much of the known world, earning the enmity and admiration of the rich and foolish alike. He rarely takes things seriously, greeting each day with a mocking smile and an insouciant swagger. In every possible way, Twisted Fate always has an ace up his sleeve. Twisted Fate rarely takes things seriously, greeting each day with a mocking smile and an insouciant swagger. He’s prone to brag and has an overall smug yet charismatic personality. He's an opportunistic and hedonistic person that enjoys the thrill of danger and adventure. However, he does seem to have some roguish honor, since he tends to steal mostly from rich people and it is mentioned that he enjoyed conning arrogant and cruel people, as shown in his short story. Even though he usually appears laid-back and playful, he rarely shows genuine emotions and has tight control of his expressions. Twisted Fate is analytical and a strategist, being the brains in his partnership with Graves, usually in charge of planning out heists. He’s also superstitious and theatrical since it’s mentioned he enjoys putting on a show and communicates artistically at times. He used to have a history of taking off when things started to get complicated but changed his ways after starting to work with Graves once again. Twisted Fate is also a stickler for appearance even having a “concerned face” he only uses when dealing with a really bad hand of cards or when he finds a new stain on his jacket. He’s very protective of his hat, to the point he checks the state of his hat first instead of his broken ribs after falling off a building. Twisted Fate is also plagued by the fact that he's a riverman that can't swim, drowning being his worst nightmare.
Lady luck is smilin'.
Just the luck of the draw.
Only two Jokers in the deck, and I get dealt you.
A Zaunite plague rat by birth, but a connoisseur of filth by passion, Twitch is not afraid to get his paws dirty. Aiming a chem-powered crossbow at the gilded heart of Piltover, he has vowed to show those in the city above just how filthy they really are. Always a sneaky sneak, when he's not rooting around in the Sump, he's digging deep into other people's garbage for discarded treasures… and perhaps a moldy sandwich.
What doesn't kill you just isn't finished yet.
Dip it in sewage... leave it in the sun for a while... oh, yes, that's perfect, yes!
I hear you're trash. Bow before your king!
The most powerful spirit walker alive, Udyr communes with all the spirits of the Freljord, whether by empathically understanding their needs or by channeling and transforming their ethereal energy into his primal fighting style. He seeks balance within so that his mind does not get lost amidst others, but he also seeks balance without—for the Freljord's mystical landscape can only thrive with the growth that comes from conflict and struggle, and Udyr knows that sacrifices must be made to keep peaceful stagnance at bay.
Conflict feeds the Freljord.
The spirits at the heart of the Freljord have need of me. I answer their call.
Great Seal Sister, guide my steps through treacherous waters.
Once a powerful Noxian headsman, Urgot was betrayed by the empire for which he had killed so many. Bound in iron chains, he was forced to learn the true meaning of strength in the Dredge—a prison mine deep beneath Zaun. Emerging in a disaster that spread chaos throughout the city, he now casts an imposing shadow over its criminal underworld. Raising his victims on the very chains that once enslaved him, he will purge his new home of the unworthy, making it a crucible of pain. Urgot is a determined individual, wanting nothing more than to free Zaun from its captors, the chem-barons, and take revenge on Piltover, which has deliberately ignored Zaun, and in his eyes, let it rot while they enjoyed their luxurious lives. While he works tirelessly to free Zaun, he does not consider himself the savior of Zaun, only a personification of its discontent and anger. He believes that Zaun must be ruled by anarchy to reach its true potential, along with the entire world, and that what he considers "the worthy" will be the only ones left standing. Urgot has made this his ultimate goal, and will not stop until he has accomplished it.
You cannot know strength... Until you are broken.
If they could only comprehend the truth of the Dredge... I wouldn't need to drive it into their skulls.
I want to see their faces when I tear their hope away.
One of the ancient darkin, Varus was a deadly killer who loved to torment his foes, driving them almost to insanity before delivering the killing arrow. He was imprisoned at the end of the Great Darkin War, but escaped centuries later in the remade flesh of two Ionian hunters—they had unwittingly released him, cursed to bear the bow containing his bound essence. Varus now seeks out those who trapped him, to enact his brutal vengeance, but the mortal souls within still resist him every step of the way.
The guilty will know agony.
Beware a man with nothing to lose.
The cost of your life is one arrow.
Shauna Vayne is a deadly, remorseless Demacian monster hunter, who has dedicated her life to finding and destroying the demon that murdered her family. Armed with a wrist-mounted crossbow and a heart full of vengeance, she is only truly happy when slaying practitioners or creations of the dark arts, striking from the shadows with a flurry of silver bolts. Vayne is incredibly determined in her mission to purge Runeterra of the forces of darkness, even willing to kill her mother figure when she found out she was a magic user. She holds extreme prejudice against magic users but has become more lenient since becoming a Sentinel of Light. She is also quite confident in her ability, challenging a monster to try and attack her before she could kill them.
Let us hunt those who have fallen to darkness.
In the dark, all is laid bare.
Hitting me is like boxing with shadows.
An enthusiastic yordle sorcerer, Veigar has embraced powers that few others dare even approach. As a free-spirited inhabitant of Bandle City, he once longed to learn more of the celestial magic practiced by mortals, but his natural curiosity was twisted by imprisonment in the Immortal Bastion. Now a stubborn creature with the dark fury of the stars at his command, Veigar is often underestimated by others—and though he believes himself truly evil, some still question his deeper motivations... When he first came to Runeterra, Veigar was an enthusiastic and curious Yordle that wished to learn more about magic. This curiosity led him to leave Bandle City, and go to Runeterra in search of knowledge. There he was delighted with the knowledge that he acquired and put all his effort into becoming a powerful mage. When the warlord Mordekaiser caught him, he was tortured for years under the warlord's brutal watch. This torture broke the Yordle's mind. With his personality broken, he re-imagined himself as a terrible tyrant with a thirst for power. Under this new persona, Veigar is obsessed with the aesthetics of villainy. He's arrogant, melodramatic, and antagonistic, constantly causing chaos in the hopes of getting the attention of others. This often leads to frustration as most of his attempts of villainy either led to mild annoyance or instead lead to great good. He is also territorial in his search for power, aggressively going after anyone that he considers a rival in his quest for power, which often, accidentally leads to him coming in direct blows with (and defeating) other dark sorcerers and other evils, accidentally helping many on his path. It's possible that Veigar's acts of good might not be as accidental as they might first appear, but instead, his subconscious guides his actions towards good while his conscious mind, too broken by Mordekaiser's cruelty, rationalizes.
Know that if the tables were turned, I would show you no mercy!
Your commands tire me.
You deny the darkness in your soul! You deny your power!
It is unclear if Vel'Koz was the first Voidborn to emerge on Runeterra, but there has certainly never been another to match his level of cruel, calculating sentience. While his kin devours or defile everything around them, he seeks instead to scrutinize and study the physical realm—and the strange, warlike beings that dwell there—for any weakness the Void might exploit. But Vel'Koz is far from a passive observer, striking back at threats with deadly plasma, or by disrupting the very fabric of the world itself.
Knowledge through... disintegration.
High concentration of subjects... wonderful.
It seems your chances of survival are... less than zero.
In the black heart of the Shadow Isles, a lone yordle trudges through the spectral fog, content in its murky misery. With an endless supply of teen angst and a powerful shadow in tow, Vex lives in her self-made slice of gloom, far from the revolting cheer of the “normie” world. Though she lacks ambition, she is quick to strike down color and happiness, stopping all would-be interlopers with her magical malaise. Vex is a gloomy yordle that finds contentment in misery. She is eternally unhappy and is content with this unhappiness. She is easily irritated, especially by bright and happy things, and can easily bring down the mood of any creature with her sadness.
Kay. See if I care.
And then I told her, 'Get outta my room!' And she said, 'This is my house, young lady and'... Oh, hang on, Shadow. I'll finish this later
D'ughhh, look at that tree. So stupid.
Once a criminal from the mean streets of Zaun, Vi is a hotheaded, impulsive, and fearsome woman with only a very loose respect for authority figures. Growing up all but alone, Vi developed finely honed survival instincts as well as a wickedly abrasive sense of humor. Now working with the Wardens to keep the peace in Piltover, she wields mighty hextech gauntlets that can punch through walls—and suspects—with equal ease.
Punch first. Ask questions while punching.
Here I come to save the day... or wreck it.
I've got five reasons for you to shut up.
Once the ruler of a long-lost kingdom, Viego perished over a thousand years ago when his attempt to bring his wife back from the dead triggered the magical catastrophe known as the Ruination. Transformed into a powerful, unliving wraith tortured by an obsessive longing for his centuries-dead queen, Viego now stands as the Ruined King, controlling the deadly Harrowings as he scours Runeterra for anything that might one day restore her, and destroying all in his path as the Black Mist pours endlessly from his cruel, broken heart. Viego was an incredibly passionate, yet arrogant man. Due to being raised in nobility, Viego was given everything in life and believed all was his. He was deeply enamored with his wife Isolde and would dote on her. His devotion to his wife lead him to be highly disinterested in ruling their kingdom and neglect his responsibilities. He has shown himself to be a perfectionist, having high expectations of his queen, and would berate her when she couldn't live up to them. When Isolde was poisoned, Viego became obsessed with saving her, using all of the kingdom's resources to try and keep her alive. When the queen had passed, he was willing to slaughter thousands and defy death itself to bring her back. Centuries later, his obsession remains, willing to plunge the world into darkness to revive his queen.
Love ruins all.
She waits for me beyond the mist. My queen. My love. My black and broken heart.
She was the star that lit my path. Without her... darkness.

A fiend with a thirst for mortal blood, Vladimir has influenced the affairs of Noxus since the empire's earliest days. In addition to unnaturally extending his life, his mastery of hemomancy allows him to control the minds and bodies of others as easily as his own. In the flamboyant salons of the Noxian aristocracy, this has enabled him to build a fanatical cult of personality around himself—while in the lowest back alleys, it allows him to bleed his enemies dry. Vladimir is a cruel and hedonistic being that desires to fulfill his immortal life with the pleasures of the world. He prefers to squirt around between the public eye and the secret societies that he builds, making sure others are not aware of his immortal status. His flamboyant behavior also hides his cruelty and sadism, that indulges when using his powers on others.
The rivers will run red.
A harvest moon, so aptly named.
You look like someone who's got a lot going on beneath the surface.
To those who still revere him, the Volibear is the storm made manifest. Destructive, wild, and stubbornly resolute, he existed before mortals walked the Freljord's tundra, and is fiercely protective of the lands that he and his demi-god kin created. Volibear is a proud and brutal god that sees the rise of civilization as a weakness. Having been born in ancient primeval times, Volibear believes that strength and brutality are what define one worth as an individual.

Zac is the product of a toxic spill that ran through a chemtech seam and pooled in an isolated cavern deep in Zaun's Sump. Despite such humble origins, Zac has grown from primordial ooze into a thinking being who dwells in the city's pipes, occasionally emerging to help those who cannot help themselves or rebuild the broken infrastructure of Zaun. Zac has an innate ability to feel the emotions of others due to his properties, often feeling overwhelmed by too many positive or negative emotions. Due to his upbringing from his adoptive parents, Zac has a kind, optimistic outlook on life and enjoys helping others, though when there are negative emotions around him he stops to intervene at best and lashes out in destructive tantrums at worst. He was overcome by rage towards his parents' deaths in the hands of Saito Takeda's men, yet felt remorse for the destruction he caused during his outburst, rebuilding everything he's damaged before choosing to live in the sewers alone. He feels a strong aversion to violence around him, yet usually remains in a calm demeanor when he fights.
I was made for this... literally.

I've seen your death, it was painful...
As the embodiment of mischief, imagination, and change, Zoe acts as the cosmic messenger of Targon, heralding major events that reshape worlds. Her mere presence warps the arcane mathematics governing realities, sometimes causing cataclysms without conscious effort or malice. This perhaps explains the breezy nonchalance with which Zoe approaches her duties, giving her plenty of time to focus on playing games, tricking mortals, or otherwise amusing herself. An encounter with Zoe can be joyous and life-affirming, but it is always more than it appears and is often extremely dangerous.
Yes! This'll be fun! Right?
Hey guys, so, cosmic change time, possible armageddon, twilight of the gods, blah blah blah. You've been heralded.
Trickster never loses. Because Zoe changes the rules.
Born in an ancient, sorcerous catastrophe, Zyra is the wrath of nature's given form—an alluring hybrid of plant and human, kindling new life with every step. She views the many mortals of Runeterra as little more than prey for her seeded progeny and thinks nothing of slaying them with flurries of deadly spines. Though her true purpose has not been revealed, Zyra wanders the world, indulging her most primal urges to colonize and strangle all other life from it. Zyra is a vicious, predatory creature. Despite gaining human intelligence, Zyra still has the natural instinct of consuming and devouring a vicious predator. Her ultimate goal is to envelop the world with her plants, making them beautiful and ridding it of all that isn't her.
Feel the thorns' embrace.
Things aren't always what they seem.
Our seasons are reversed: my spring, your fall.
