This is a fandub for the part when Komi gives Tadano her chocolate for valentines day
INTRODUCTION
Hello, everyone! This casting call is for "Komi Can’t Communicate Fandub “It’s just Valentine’s Day."! This is a fandub for my two fav moments in Komi Can't Communicate Season 2! PLOT: Onemine invites Komi to her house to make chocolates for Valentine's Day. Alongside Otori and Onemine's younger siblings, she bakes a chocolate cake. At school, Komi receives chocolate from her friends and she gives the ones she made back. Katai manages to give his to Tadano, while Komi feels guilty for being unable to do so. If you are cast I will request your discord username to invite you!
All roles are in the English language. Voice actors must be comfortable using English
DEADLINES AND AUDITIONS
The deadline for auditions is August 12th, 2022. There are currently no plans to extend this deadline, as the full Pilot script is ready to release to voice actors. We'll notify voice actors who have been cast in roles by August 12th and 13th and send the link to the discord server.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Expect to be warmly greeted by myself, Opal. At this point, you'll be part of our "Komi Can't Communicate Fandub" family, where you'll get to interact with other voice actors from around the globe, all of whom offer a wealth of experience and knowledge. We communicate primarily through Discord. If you are unfamiliar with either of these applications, you will need it to audition.
WHAT WE ASK OF YOU
First and foremost, have fun -- we take pride in bringing together talents in different mediums to create something truly phenomenal, but none of it means anything if the people involved aren't passionate about their craft.
Please submit clean recordings on prosumer mics (no air conditioners in the background, no fans -- we don't mind performing noise reduction on your files, however too much clean-up reduces the quality of your voice). And speaking of clean-up -- please let us handle the post-production. Don't add effects to your lines -- leave that to our audio geniuses :)
Feel free to cut your lines to your best/favorite takes. Three is the gold standard. We have a few voice actors that would rather give us more takes, and that's okay, too. However please at least remove the takes you don't want to be featured on the audition.
Please submit your recordings as one .MP3 file to We do occasionally ask for line re-dos, but we do this sparingly and only after great consideration - we realize your time is valuable, and we won't ask for anything we can't work around in edits.

Shouko Komi (古こ見み 硝しょう子こ Komi Shouko?) is the titular character of Komi Can't Communicate. She has a communication disorder and is bad at communicating with people.

Hitohito Tadano (只ただ野の 仁ひと人ひと Tadano Hitohito?) is the main character in Komi Can't Communicate. While appearing to be nothing but an ordinary teenage boy, he possesses exceptional observational skills which allow him to understand other people's feelings. He decided to help his classmate, Shouko Komi, who suffers from extreme social anxiety, to achieve a goal of getting a hundred friends by the end of their high school years.

(He is responding to Komi at a distance) Uh, yes?!
Hitomi Tadano (只ただ野の 瞳ひとみ Tadano Hitomi?) is the younger sister of Tadano Hitohito. She bears resemblance to her brother in terms of understanding people's minds. She is an energetic girl, unlike her brother who is timid and more passive in doing things.

(Serious, and rambling) Just shut up and do it. Winter is a popular season for ice cream. It's warm inside so people crave ice cream. Sales figures are rising every year. - Winter ice cream is a thing.
(Demanding) Hey, go buy some ice cream.
This is Tadano's Mother, this is her first appearance in the show! There is not much about her at the moment. For this video, she will only have one line!
