The Kiss Bet Webtoon dub
Project Overview
Hello everyone! I am starting up a voice acting youtube channel that will be doing some dubs of a variety of different comics from places like Webtoon and such.
One of our first projects is going to be on the Webtoon comic, The Kiss Bet.
What is The Kiss Bet?
It’s senior year and Sara Lin just turned 18. She’s got great friends, a cool Dad (or so he thinks) and a whole lot ahead of her. The last thing she needs is to worry about having her first kiss. But that’s all about to change because her good pal Patrick just challenged her to a bet that will either lead to love, heartbreak or embarrassment…or maybe all three.
What is the process for auditioning?
You can either audition through Casting Call Club or through our Discord here: https://discord.gg/MNEs68c
and once the audition deadline passes we will go through and pick people for the roles and message those who are chosen about it.
What are the requirements for auditioning?
1: Have a Discord
2: be at least 16
3: have a decent quality mic
4: be respectful of others.

Sara is a kind, witty, and sarcastic girl who is quick to clam up when it comes to talking to boys (besides Patrick). She’s always gearing to take on Patrick’s bets, but can hardly muster the courage to go through with them in a timely manner.
[startled] Ahh, Patrick! What are you doing here so early in the morning?
Wait, what?...Patrick! That's the real reason you're here, you punk! And don't talk about this in front of people!
Crap... I really hope she's just saying nonsense like always... There's no way he remembers all that, right?
Vicky is Sara's cousin and best friend. She is well-meaning and kind, Vicky is an encouraging person which often leads to bad or awkward situations for Sara.
Can you believe you're finally 18, Sara Lin!?

Richard is Sara’s dad. He is a classical rock fanatic and sarcastic man, much like his daughter. He is quick to judge any boys that come around Sara, but does so only in a semi-serious manner.
You know you've been washing the same dish for the last five minutes?
It's 7:15 a.m. You're going to be late for school, Sara Lin!
Stop washing the dish! Go! Go! And make sure you tell your friends how cool your dad is!

Patrick is Sara's best guy friend and previous crush. They attend the same high school and are in the same class. He's spiraled Sara in a string of bets that usually end up giving him a little extra pocket change. A prankster at heart, Patrick has a tendency to pick on Sara, and pretty much everyone else, as often as possible.
Oh, you know what? Now that I'm here, you might as well pay me for last night's bet!

Joe is a new transfer student at Sara's school and is very polite and respectful towards others.

Oliver is Joe's younger half-brother and Sara's math tutor. Oliver and Sara's friendship was initially tense because she freaked Oliver out when they first met by asking him for a kiss (on a bet with Patrick). Their forced time spent together eventually developed into a friendship.
What the heck was that all about!? "Can I kiss you?" Freaking weirdo!

Tammy is a friend of Sara's and is kind of dorky. She has an obvious crush on Patrick.

She's the head of the newspaper club that Sara joins and is also in the same class as her.
Teacher! I have an announcement!
Hi everyone! As you all know, I'm the new president of the newspaper club. So, because the school festival is coming up at the end of this month. Mari and I are looking for new members to join so we can document all these experiences!
*sighs* Sara Lin....Always so clueless. Why didn't you say anything before?
It's fine! We're just going to have to rearrange the whole thing so that we can fit in another article or something for you.
*slight panic* Wait, wait, wait! Is there really need for that?
Lulu! Weren't you complaining about needing more people for your, uh....S-spells section?
She used to be one of Sara's friends, but they drifted apart as she started getting into some weird stuff. They still talk sometimes, though and she does tarot card readings.
Doesn't everyone already know? Secrets are a heavy burden to carry, Sara Lin. But, I leave you with a magical freeing spell.
