Kirby's Nightmare - Meta Knight Recast | Comic Dub
Project Overview
This recast involves a character in a project that I'll be editing/producing + helping with. That being 'Kirby's Nightmare' by Koku Draws on Deviantart. The original VA just wasn't able to make the interpretation that the director was looking for, so we'll be recasting the role here. Please keep in mind that you need to have decent/good mic quality, little to no background noise, and put effort into your interpretation! Do your best & best of luck to those who audition!!

Meta’s character resembles his usual traits. Being stoic and mostly mysterious, however this Knight tends to let his annoyance and frustration show a little more often than not. Although, that doesn’t mean he can hide from comedic moments thanks to Kirby.
Something to note however, is that Meta goes through a ridiculous amount of character development. Part one really is only the tip of the iceberg for his character. Just something worth keeping in mind.
Labeled as ageless for being 1000+ years, but despite that he really only reflects a young adult, so a young adult or even teenager would be prefered for his voice. Also, let's not do the whole "Spanish Accent" ordeal because it's quite overused when it comes to Meta.
His tone should preferably sound genuine when interacting with Kirby specifically, but if anyone else is in the vicinity then his tone should sound more of a front, so that’s also something to keep in mind.
“Like I said, I kidnapped you. I didn’t save you. But that’s not the point.” {Serious} “We both know your strength is more than enough to avoid being captured.... So, why come willingly?” {serious slight confusion} “It’s odd.” {Muttered to self}
*Sigh* “I figured this would happen. It’s almost shameful that I cannot evade all your attacks even when you’re only playing around… Truly, that means only one thing.” {Slow, discouraged} “It’s clear that this victory should belong to you… Childish or not, I can never ignore the strength you possess” {Slow, acknowledgement}
“Honestly, I wouldn’t know. My trust and friendship isn’t won easily.” {Slow} “Perhaps if we fought alongside each other we could find the answer?” {Thoughtful}
