King Rouge (gacha)
Project Overview
In the Pharadith Kingdom, adventurer Aki accepts a quest for help from a stranger after a close encounter with death. She’s spent her entire life on quests to help others due to her severe hero complex. When this seemingly simple quest turns into a dark and twisted mystery, how far will she go to save a nation? Or more importantly, can she?
This is an original short film under the guise of gacha in order to attract more attention from the target audience (teens).
Before all else please be aware that the host (me) is a minor. Although I have experience in professional settings, I understand this makes some people uncomfortable. So if the host being an adult is something that is important to you, please keep looking for other amazing opportunities on this website!
Non-single line voice actors, animators, writers, and artists must have discord. One line characters will be selected from audition and the audio from said audition will be used.
A traditionally (15 fps frame by frame) short animated gacha movie with a SEQUAL.
(lead voice actors are signing up for 2 movies if the first is completed successfully. Animators and artists may leave after the first movie/after their job has been completed! If someone needs to leave, please do not ‘ghost’ and instead let me know so I can recast.)
Estimated to be around 30-40 minutes long. The sequel content and length will be announced after the first movie has been released and preparations have been made.
A movie early in production and the script/storyboard has not been completely finished. Once it has been, this page will be updated with more specifics and the final selections will be made.

Voice actors must have no background noise with good quality.
Please keep in mind that I’ve participated in the creation of multiple gacha movies/series, however, this is my first time going solo and creating my own film! Although I want to make everyone’s experience as easy as possible throughout production, I encourage accepted participants and auditioners to ask any questions and communicate concerns.

Not entirely sure if this will be a permanent role. Role validity will be decided depending on if anyone is interested to join. Will be asked to create as many complete song instrumentals as they want to, the minimum is one. You’ll be working in a team with me and other applicants to animate the rough draft of the film (sketches)! People with little experience in animation are allowed, but you must be open to constructive criticism and advice me and others give you. (This goes for all level animators.) The project is made through ‘traditional animation’ and not live2d. You will be asked to adhere as close as you can to the style of the movie. This will be a project mainly produced by minors due to the nature of the fandom, so I don’t expect professionals. However, please try your best! Send in past work.

King rouge, he’s… well… the king! Tales say that forever ago, an unspoken tragedy befell the kingdom. The entire land mourned, the wives wept and even crows cried a broken melody of lament. In the center of it all was the king. He was always cruel. His tales of violence are known to all… yet, some do wonder. What was he like before he put up that wall? (King rouge is a relatively silent villain, expect a lot of grumbles in replacement of actual words.) Rouge doesn’t age like humans do, so any voice from young adult to senior works.

He’s a bartender who has all the ladies wrapped around his finger--and he knows it. While he doesn't care for their swooning, he does care for the troubles and concerns people ask him advice for. It started out as unprompted venting after a few too many drinks, but now he’s practically the forest therapist. Character age: 24 years old. Medium low to low pitch

Aether is a human-bird hybrid who sails the skies. As a child he’s always loved that blue abbyss, he could just fly there forever. However, this world requires money and material to get by, so he’s made a job out of it. He could be called a scout, or a ranger of sorts. He does whatever job pays him good money. If you’d ever ask him, he’d likely tell you he really couldn’t care less about his assignments. He carries himself in a calm and cool manner. Any pitch of voice. Character age: 20

If you’ve mistaken a cloaker for a ghost, i think so too.
