Project Overview

Kinarai Summer Paradise is a episodic story of a young twelve year old child name Taylor who has autism, and also based on a real life person. Taylor and his family are heading to Kinarai Paradise, a fictional hotel beach and resort, as a therapeutic endeavor to help Taylor be treated for a traumatic event that just happened few weeks prior. Now in Kinarai Paradise Taylor must learn to get past his traumatic past, learn to work with his autism, and to make friends on his own while he is there for two weeks. 


Important note to say: this is not for me, but rather a YouTube channel that the character is based off of. I'm just the hiring manager for the voice actors. This season will be comprised of 10 episodes, with a few possible fillers, so the exact number will change to suit the project's/director's satisfaction. The season teaser and episode 1 have already been written out, and our writers are doing their job to work on the remaining episodes as fast as they can. Because of the extreme level of details intended to be in the story, there is the need for many extras voice actors. If you do not get hired for a specific character: don't worry, there are many others in the season.

  • Late Update

    I do wish to first apologize for the forgetfulness on my part for not posting any updates concerning the project. There has been some administrative setbacks that needed to be taken care of, and most of this was within the Discord that is hosting the project. As for the questions about the roles, who is hired, or why hasn't anyone been rejected/hired on yet: again the administrative problems needed to be taken care of, and since there is not enough dedicated staff I had to take care of them myself. I will be re-opening up this CastingCall, and there will be a few changes to the characters/auditions. The general background characters and extras will still be open, and with the writing staff adding in more characters we will be requesting you for either more specific roles or bring you into the Discord at a later time. I again thank you for your patience, and wish to work with you in the future.   • Roles Opening Up!

    Hello everyone who is reading this update. After some technical difficulties, and some unfortunate events, many roles that were previously filled are now open! That means if you wanted a character in a main role, or wanted to be a more active participant then here's your chance. The characters will be added in soon, so don't worry cause there will be a minor extension for the deadline.

This character will appear in very few videos. Although the character does not have a chosen gender at this time, you are still welcome to sound like a stereotypical surfer who a little "radical".

These are a mix of voices in the background to help give life to the park portion of Kinarai Paradise. These characters make up the game booth operators, roller coaster operators, janitors, and so on. 

  • (Game booth hosts) Step right up! If you can knock down the bottles you win a fabulous prize!

  • (Ride operators) Attention guests, for your safety please keep you arms, hands, feet, and legs inside of the ride at all times. And now away you go!

  • (Janitors) Great, another pile of puke to clean up. Stupid kids eating too much candy, and doing the crazy spin rides.

We are now able to begin some body acting sessions for the trailer, and a few episodes. Your job, if you don't know what a "body actor" does, is to puppeteer your Minecraft character with character specific skins under the direction of the director. We are looking for talented script writers to help continue the episodes that have been already completed.. Script writers must be able to read and analyze a season outline for what each episode will have, and to create a script with other members of the writing team. The time period for each script is to be written within two weeks, which is more than reasonable for the writers to complete their job. Understand that his job is the most important job because you are going to be the backbone of the project, and everything relies on what will happen in the scripts.

Tony is a young child around the age of 12-13. He has asthma, yet he loves to be active in activities such as volleyball and surfing. He is a very kind and popular child, and will be a huge influence to the main character, Taylor. Important note: he was from Canada, but recently moved down into the United States. He is around the age of puberty, so he is nervous around cute girls he likes. 

  • (Casual) Wow, thanks I guess. I could really use some friends too, *little awkward laugh* I got here yesterday. My family and I had to move all the way from Canada to here! So, this is really new to me as well. Oh yeah, I’m Tony by the way!

  • For a brand new friend? Of course I’ll pay! Come on, let’s go!

  • (Talking very fast and nervous in front of his crush)  Umm yeah totally! I’m fine! I uhh….what do you mean you out of it? It's getting hot here. Does anyone feel that?!

Cody is a 13 year old male child who is an abusive bully. He is a regular antagonist of sorts seen throughout this season. Physically hurts others and is verbally rude towards other children, especially those who are either physically or mentally challenged/different.  When he is around adults, however, he can put on a fake display of innocence. 

  • Oh lookie here, guessing we have a dropped kid lacking in the brains department. What happened, got kicked out of the normal baby making factory?

  • Really girl, why are you playing with him? He's a retard, a nobody, just trash that is so different. It's not normal how he talks or even acts. I think he loves that Tony kid he hangs around with so much. 

  • Oh hello there mister resort worker, sir. What's the trouble? Me? Oh I am not causing trouble, I'm having a great time here at this park. It's wonderful! I do know that a strange boy and his friends are picking on me, and making up lies that I'm "bullying" them. I think his name is...Taylor? Yeah that's it, even hangs around a guy named Tony or something.
