Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger - Abridged
Project Overview
Project Name: Zenkaiger Abridged: A Chaotic Parody Series
Introduction
Zenkaiger Abridged is a comedic reimagining of the Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger series. This fan-made parody aims to amplify the absurdity, exaggerate the characters, and dive into the hilarious chaos of a team of misfits trying—and often failing—to protect the multiverse. Packed with over-the-top humor, exaggerated personalities, and witty dialogue, this abridged series is designed for fans of Super Sentai, parody content, and sharp comedy.
We are looking for talented voice actors, artists, and other creative contributors to help bring this vision to life.
Plot Summary:
The multiverse is under attack by the sinister Tojitendo Empire, but the only team standing in their way is the Zenkaigers—a group of dysfunctional heroes with clashing personalities and questionable teamwork.
At the center of the chaos is Kaito Goshikida, an optimistic leader who just wants to do his job without losing his sanity. Unfortunately, his team includes:
Magine, a fortune-telling magical Kikainoid obsessed with Kaito and their "destined romance."
Zyuran, a lazy dinosaur Kikainoid who’s more interested in napping than saving the day.
Gaon, a sarcastic beast-themed Kikainoid who’d rather critique his team than follow orders.
Vroom, the overly stressed strategist who just wants the team to stick to his carefully crafted plans.
Together, they must face not only the Tojitendo but also their own dysfunction, all while Magine relentlessly pursues her dreams of romance with Kaito.

Kaito is the optimistic and energetic leader of the Zenkaigers. He has a heart of gold but is constantly overwhelmed by his chaotic team, especially Magine’s obsessive advances. Kaito genuinely wants to save the multiverse, but he’s often reduced to babysitting his dysfunctional teammates while trying to keep his sanity.
Voice Requirements: Medium to high range. Energetic and heroic but capable of panicking and yelling when things spiral out of control. Needs strong comedic timing.
Key Personality Traits:
Optimistic and determined, yet perpetually flustered.
The "straight man" of the group, reacting to absurdity with exasperation.
Often breaks the fourth wall, begging for help.
- male young adult
(Panicked, frustrated) “MAGINE, LET GO OF ME! THIS ISN’T A COUPLES’ EXERCISE!”
(Exasperated, fourth-wall breaking) “Why is this team like this?! If anyone’s watching… please send help.”
(Cheerful, heroic) “Alright, team! Let’s make this another day to save the multiverse! …Or at least survive it.”
Magine is a magical Kikainoid obsessed with fortune-telling—and Kaito. She’s convinced their love is destined by the stars and uses her cards to justify her over-the-top romantic fantasies. Magine often daydreams about their future, sometimes at the worst possible moments, like in the middle of a battle.
Voice Requirements: Medium to high range. Sweet, dreamy, and bubbly, with the ability to shift to dramatic or comedic tones. Needs subtle delivery for occasional adult humor.
Key Personality Traits:
Lovable but hilariously obsessive and clingy.
Fortune-telling fanatic who interprets every card as a sign of her romance with Kaito.
Alternates between adorable fangirl and hilariously suggestive dreamer.
- female young adult
(Dreamy, confident) “Oh, Kaito, the cards say today is a day of destiny and love! Isn’t it romantic?”
(Over-the-top dramatic) “Look, Kaito! Even my magic reflects our love!”
(Suggestive, playful) “Don’t worry, Kaito. The cards say you’ll fall for me eventually… and when you do, it’ll be magical~.”
Zyuran is the team’s laid-back powerhouse who acts like he’s too cool for everything. He’s a dinosaur-themed Kikainoid who would rather nap than fight but always steps up when needed—albeit begrudgingly. He often mocks Magine’s antics and Kaito’s flustered reactions.
Voice Requirements: Low to medium range. Relaxed, sarcastic, and occasionally gruff. Needs strong comedic timing for deadpan and lazy delivery.
Key Personality Traits:
Perpetually chill and unbothered, with a dry sense of humor.

(Amused, teasing) “She’s naming kids now? Oh, this is the best thing I’ve heard all day!”
(Dry, relaxed) “Punching mooks is easy, but watching Kaito deal with Magine? That’s entertainment.”

Key Personality Traits:
The team’s realist and constant critic.

(Biting commentary) “I’m more shocked she hasn’t planned matching outfits for the imaginary kids yet.”
(Witty, resigned) “Honestly, the villains should surrender just to stop watching this disaster.”
Vroom is the overworked strategist of the team who desperately tries to bring order to the chaos. He’s intelligent and analytical but constantly frustrated because no one listens to him. Despite his exasperation, he remains loyal and determined to make things work.

(Nerdy, determined) “Stick to the strategy! That’s what it’s for! Is anyone even listening?!”
Secchan is the Zenkaigers’ mechanical bird mascot and advisor. However, in this parody, Secchan spends most of his time laughing at Kaito’s misery and mocking the team’s dysfunction. He occasionally provides useful advice—but only after getting a good laugh out of everyone’s failures.

(Mocking, gleeful) “Why fight the villains when you can fight each other? This is gold!”
Yatsude is Kaito’s cheerful and loving grandmother. She supports Magine’s obsession with Kaito, often encouraging her and pushing Kaito to "settle down" and give her grandkids. She’s warm and kind but unafraid to stir the pot for her own amusement.
Voice Requirements: Medium to low range. Warm, nurturing, and humorous. Needs comedic timing for moments of sly encouragement.
Key Personality Traits:
Sweet and supportive but loves egging on Magine’s antics.

(Calm, amused) “Magine’s got spirit, Kaito. You could learn a thing or two from her.”
(Matter-of-fact, teasing) “Stop fighting fate, Kaito. Just say yes already!”
Barashitara is The Tojitendo Commander who leads the mooks during their attack. He’s evil in theory but spends most of the episode confused and frustrated by the Zenkaigers’ dysfunction.
Voice Requirements: Medium to low range. Gruff and commanding but with frequent shifts to exasperation.

Frustrated and baffled by the Zenkaigers’ lack of coordination.
