Kawaii Butterflies
Project Overview
Hello and welcome to Kawaii Butterflies.
We are looking to create a 12 episode mini series similar to the style and format of shows like Villianous which aired on Cartoon network.
There series will follow a set of roughtly six characters interacting in a blog like narrative.
At this time we are looking at animator portfolios to find talent that can match our desired feel. Looking for a traditional 2D animation style that was popular in 90s style cartoons.
The series will be family friendly and will be geared to social media platforms like tiktok and instagram. The characters and shorts will be geared towards expanding our brand and IP. There is no timeline on this project as the brand is well established and these will be promotional materials for future showcases. Quality over quantity.

Our studio is looking for 2D animators. Rate listed is the LOWEST payment possible. Rate negotiable based on experience and portolio. Rate listed is for minimum level of animation which is a ROUGH ANIMATIC) if an animator can provide a higher level of work the rate would INCREASE. 7 seconds of ROUGH ANIMATIC 100 dollars is the current rate for the project. We would love to invest in higher quality work as well but want to make sure EVERYONE at different levels of art talent is encouraged to apply.
