Katawa Shoujo Playthrough (Rin Route)
Project Overview
So I am a small youtuber/streamer who likes anime and visial novels a little too much. I presonally love voice acting and have had some experience and so I tried to start a playthrough but then I remembered this site. There are alot of talanted ladies out there who would make such good roles.
I don't expect you to have professional setup and such. You don't need to know audio editing and only really have to do a good voice and be up for a good time.
Also, the voice range is just a prefered. If you want to do an audition for someone who I say I want a high voice for but you have a medium to lower range voice I'll be 100% fine with it.
If you haven't played the game this is a great opportunity for you since I plan to just do it as we go along. We will skype as I play and you can make jokes and have fun while it all goes along.
I am going to do the voices of Hisao and Minor male characters (since my voice is sooo masculine).
I will be playing with adult content off cus I don't play it to get nudity, I play it cus I fucking love the stories and characters.
I will be doing all the other routes eventually so if you're worried that you won't get much time to hang along for the ride then there's that.

Kenji tends to vacillate between reclusive, suspicious, and paranoid, and calm, friendly, and mildly sociable (albeit fairly awkward to talk to). He has a marked misogynistic streak that is something of a defining characteristic for him. He is convinced that women are inherently dangerous, and thus avoids talking to them whenever possible-- not even his class representative, Lilly, is fully able to get him to open up to her. He also has a poor grasp of acceptable social protocol-- at one point, he even goes into the bathroom naked, right as Hisao is leaving the shower, just to ask him to loan Kenji some money for a pizza. He also has a habit of getting inappropriately close to people's faces in order to identify them, rather than just asking who they are (due in part to his intermittent paranoia).
Voice Range: High/Medium

Emi has a happy-go-lucky personality despite having no legs. She is highly energetic, which can occasionally cause her injury when running, much to the nurse's dismay. She is playful and willing to try new things, which can sometimes lead to humorous situations. Despite her normally cheery personality, she finds it hard to truly rely on other people, and is very stubborn.
Voice Range: High
Wanna swoop in your white charger and save the day? Stop the nightmares, the phantom limb pains? Restore what's lost?

Hanako is a quiet but extremely shy girl, being prone to run away when a new person tries to make contact with her (e.g Hisao on his first day at Yamaku).Despite her shy demeanour she does gets along with certain student she knows like Lilly, Shizune, Emi and Misha. She also gets along with Hisao but still in her usual self to him but soon they can become close friends.
Voice Range: Medium/High

Blind since birth, Lilly is caring, responsible and friendly - the perfect foil to Hanako, her best friend, whom she shares an almost mother-daughter relationship with, in addition to her free time often being spent drinking tea alongside her companion. In class she is a diligent student, with her sense of confidence serving her well in her role as class representative of class 3-2.
(Scottish accent is just a bonus, won't achive you anything great.

I believe that there are things one chooses to do in life, and also things that are chosen for one to do in life.
Have I ever apologized for my blindness even once? You can't help the way you are born, Hisao. There's no point in apologizing for who you are. You are a beautiful person, Hisao. Please don't apologize for that.

This is basicly a joke. If you feel like being a part of this and you're good at making moans that sound annoyed, then go ahead I won't stop you.
However she does have a "voice" when you play her route (don't think she doesn in Rin's) so there you go. If I remember wrongly I will add her as a serious character and well.. you know the rest.

As an artist, Rin is an extremely creative person, and equally philosophical; it is not uncommon to spot her lost in thought, or giving voice to abstract opinions on man, the universe, and so on. She is not particularly skilled with words, and has difficulty conveying her ideas to others. For Rin, art is the preferred method of communication, and she uses her work as a visual display of her thoughts.
Rin's voice is the most important. The lines should be said in any tone you feel fit her. She's a weird girl who likes art and has a lack of arms. She's my favorite character so a good voice would make me so happy!
Voice range: Medium to high

Underpants are the soul of a girl. You shouldn't peek at someone else's soul. Even if you are not a girl.
