Star Wars: Kanan Book I: The Last Padawan Episode 2

Project Overview

Grand Stag Studios is proud to announce that we will be collaborating with Krayt Dragon Films to bring to life the Star Wars: Kanan: The Last Padawan series! If you have been following the project, you know that we just wrapped Episode 1's casting call on December 18th. We wanted to keep the ball rolling for Episode 2 while we finish production on Episode 1.

As usual we have the same great team working to put this project together along with the same base ground rules.

Ground rules before you audition.

- Please make sure you can commit to the series and reprising you roles.

- Have a better than average microphone. Our sound engineers can only do so much to enhance quality.

- Have a Discord or be able to create one. It allows for us to communicate and upload documents much easier than Skype or any other platform.

- Certain characters, such as those already portrayed in media, will need to be similar if not a dead ringer for your voice to be cast. I am referring to characters such as the Clones, Hera, Zeb, Sabine, etc. However, please do not let this discourage you from auditioning for those roles!

- Lastly, enjoy yourselves!

Thank you again to Krayt Dragon Films for this incredible opportunity! And may the odds, and the Force, forever be in your favor.

Latest Updates

  • Episode 2 Released

Episode 2 just released this past Saturday morning on Krayt Dragon Film's YouTube page! It has been a blast working with all of our phenomenal actors! Every episode we try to do something different and add something new and exciting to the process of making the dub. This time we heavily focused on the music and ambient sounds. While we got it as close to perfect as possible in our two week production schedule, it has already received high praise as being the best comic dub series on YouTube! Obi-Wan Kenobi was once hailed as a hero of the Republic and the vanguard of the Jedi Order. After Order 66 however, he and Master Yoda invaded the Jedi Temple to relay a final message to any surviving Jedi to stay away from Coruscant and to be assured that a new hope will emerge.

I'm looking for either an Ewan McGregor impression or a James Arnold Taylor impression. The video link is Kenobi's final message from Star Wars Rebels, to be used as inspiration for the role.
