Project Overview
Hello and welcome to the audition page of Kabaneri Abridged!
We are looking for female voices to play the parts of Mumei and Yukina as our other actresses had to leave the project, but more will also be posted on this page in the future. If you don't get the role don't be discouraged as we might offer you a different role if you have a particular voice we're looking for.
Here are some rules before considering to audition.
RULES
1) You must be 15 or older to audition. There's going to be some foul language and you'll be voicing some mature jokes.
2) Have a good quality mic. We don't expect you to have the best mic in the world but we want good enough quality to here you clearly, no background noise or echo's
3) Do not audition if you are not 100% sure you are going to be part of this project for as long as we need you.
4) Have fun!
If you have any trouble in how to play the role we posted our first video for you to give you a good understanding of what we are looking for. I'm personally looking forward to what you bring onto the table! Good luck and we hope to here from all of you soon!

Mumei is a 12 year old who has a very childlike, energetic personality but is more dangerous than she is innocent. She's a pretty selfish sadistic character, almost disregarding other peoples feelings and only caring about what she wants. She also has a short attention span and doesn't like to explain things for too long.
Ughhhhhh I can't sleep with all this racket going on! Is it really hard for them to keep their crying and screaming to themselves?

Yukina is a pessimistic and cynical character. She kinda has an Eeyore kind of aspect to her. She's also very blunt, always tells the situation for what it is and reluctantly is along for the ride even when everything goes to hell. She also uses a wonderful catch phrase for when people don't listen to her and make stupid decisions "We're all gonna die".

I'm only 4 days into my training. I don't even know how to make it go.
That explains the shit smeared all over the control panel...
Horobi is a very stoic and reserved woman. She has a certain elegance to her but also can be very stern. She can be polite to others but just as quickly be rude to them when she's done with them. When it comes to her boss Biba she's usually really attracted to him, even going as far as to sexually wanting him. Looking for a voice that can be elegant and sweet but also be rude at a drop of a dime. Also there are certain lines where she's sexually aroused in a scene with Biba so if this makes you uncomfortable do not audition.
