I'm so glad people auditioned for this! I'm also sorry I keep pushing back the deadline, but I promise the final deadline is now June 23! I'll definitely have everyone cast by then!

Project Overview
“Summer’s here and it’s our time to shine!”
For 12 year old Nagisa Kazuro, school just ended and she’s super bored. Thus she grabs her younger sister Ryoka and best friend Daimon to go on random adventures in their small rural town. Before heading out, she recruits newcomer Michi Itsuka, the girl who just moved in next door. For some reason, it feels like they’ve known each other all their life. Along the way, she invites Setsuna Iori and Ren Kazu, a pair of friends also diagnosed with summer boredom. Watch Nagisa and friends visit abandoned houses, contact supernatural gods, and accidentally jump dimensions!
Jubilation is a short, 7 episode series, that will be finished (hopefully) by the end of this summer. I would like the lines to be returned ASAP/within 2 weeks, since it will be a weekly series. Once cast, I would like to have a reliable email in which I can contact you by!

Nagisa is the main character of the series. Summer just started, and she has no plans at all, making her super bored. Thus, she creates a team, the Meme Team Supreme, and their main goal is to try to find their "jubilation". She's wild and very impulsive, and a very happy kid in general. Her best friends are Daimon and Setsuna.
(annoyed) Ryoka, that outfit doesn't fit you. Go change.
(tired) Everything is so boring! I thought summer was supposed to be fun!
(happy) Daimon, look! Someone's moving in next door! Let's say hi!

Michi Itsuka is the new girl in town who goes by the nickname Mika. She instantly becomes friends with Nagisa when they meet, since Nagisa ends up dragging her around with Mika having no say in the matter. She's a bit shy, but very smart, However, her memory is bad.
I didn't lie about my name. I am Michi Itsuka, but everyone just calls me Mika. It's easier that way.
(shocked) Oh! Sorry, I didn't see you there. Who are you?
(in a low voice) Michi is a weird name. Just call me Mika.

Daimon is a cat demon summoned by Ryoka, Nagisa's sister. He now resides in the Kazuro house and can only be seen to those he allows. The only exception to this is Michi, who can see him at all times, for an unknown reason. He likes to wreak havoc and be a general nuisance. His best friend is Nagisa since they have a lot in common. He's ageless technically but he likes the form of a child.
(mocking) Oh Princess Ryo, what an idiot you are. I hope you know you just summoned a real demon.
I am Daimon, a cat demon of the underworld, I think. I don't know where I come from, actually.

Ryoka is the younger sister of Nagisa, and she has a princess complex. She's also obsessed with the paranormal and creepy things. She does everything like her vision of a princess, and likes being called Princess Ryo. Nagisa considers her to be annoying, but Ryoka is a simple 9 year old living her life like a dream.
I may not look like a woman yet, but this outfit helps. I will not change!
(commanding) I am Princess Ryo! You will address me as such.
(scolding) I can't go outside! I'll be too hot in this dress......and no, I'm not changing!

Setsuna is the mortal best friend of Nagisa. She loves her a lot and they are super close childhood friends. Setsuna gets easily jealous when she feels her friendship with someone is threatened, and she doesn't like Michi at first.
Good morning Nagisa! I made sure to be the first person you talked to today. Did I beat Ren to it?
*laughing* That Ren is so wild, and his head's always in the clouds. He'll never confess at this rate.
(whispers) Nagisa is my best friend. No one else's. Who is this Mika and what are they doing.

Ren is a new friend of Nagisa from last school year. He has a big crush on her, but he's too shy to confess to her. He promises one day he will. Each day he tries his best to get Nagisa to stop being dense and notice him. He thinks that Setsuna also has a crush on her, and promises to confess before she can. He is kind to others except Daimon.
(shy) G-Good morning Nagisa. Did you sleep fine?
You want to go on an adventure? But didn't you just come back from a trip with your family yesterday?
Setsuna, calm down. Mika isn't going to steal OUR Nagisa away.
