Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure (Re:Verse) Fandub Parts 1 and 2: Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency - MIXED

Hello fellow person!
My name is SparkleChan713, (or Diva if you follow me on Discord) and I am the director, of an anime dubbing group called Re:Verse!
I’ve been wanting to do this for a VERY long time, but never had the chance to, or wasn’t that experienced. But I’m doing it now. Introducing... An unofficial fandub of JJBA Part 1 and 2!
Now this might just be a normal casting and nothing really that special. But the one thing that will change up the whole game, is that we will be accepting ANY gender, for ANY role! Here, gender won’t matter, as long as you fit the character’s tone, range, clarity, and expression. (If you’re a girl and want to audition for let’s say Caesar, you will be able to AND GET CAST, as long as you suit his tone, range, and etc. and vice versa.)
This is the casting for all of the MAIN characters in Parts 1 and 2.
Please, keep in mind that Tarja (Kars) and Joseph will NOT be posted as I’ll be voicing Tarja (Kars), and the co-director, @RoadToDusk, will be voicing Joseph.
BUT WAIT!
Before you go ahead and audition all WILLY-NILLY, I need to lay down some requirements.
~Requirements~
- 1. You MUST have Discord, and comment your Discord ID, under your audition. This is so we can easily communicate with you, and send you updates and scripts in the simplest way. If you get selected, you will be DM’ed on Discord, to a link to the group. Keep in mind if you don’t do this, your audition will be disregarded.
- 2. Record with a decent microphone. Any thing is okay to record with. Just please, (As long as it isn’t the literal definition of C R A P, that it would be good to use!)
- 3. Must be able to work with deadlines. Don’t worry, I’m not THAT strict. I tend to be moderate with my deadlines, so you have plenty of time to get your lines in. If you have issues with my deadlines, please let me know!
- 4. It’s recommended that you have a little bit of background knowledge on Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. This isn’t required, but it would be helpful for you to know just a little bit about JJBA, Parts 1 and 2. This is so when you do get selected, and receive your scripts, you won’t get confused about it.
- 5. This isn’t a big issue, but please try to match the lip flaps as best as possible. I want this to look very convincing, so if you can (and I want to see effort) ,try to get your lines to sync up with the lip flaps, so it would look appealing!
Note: When auditioning, please be aware of the time period it’s in. Phantom Blood takes place in England, in the year 1880, while Battle Tendency, takes place in the time of World War 2. Use the time period to help you convey your speech, accent, and emotion.
Note 2: When you see two words divided by slashes, (i.e. Kars/Tarja) you say ONE of them depending on if you’re auditioning for the original, or genderbend. The before the slash is for the original character, and the word after the slash is for the genderbend.

Now, I am HORRIBLE at editing in general. So I will need some help. I would need somebody to add in the voices, music, and possibly sound effects to give our fandub some pizzazz. Sound effects really make the video pop.
I will also love for this person to know how to make awesome videos in general for our trailers we will put out. So I would love to find someone who is VERY experienced.

Our main hero of Part 1, Phantom Blood. Jonathan/Jocelyn comes from England and is a honest, and sweet person at heart, and strives to be a true gentleman/lady. After their conniving adoptive brother/sister becomes a vampire, Jonathan/Jocelyn will do anything to stop them.
I am looking for a hopeful, and determined protagonist, with a smooth sounding voice, with a mid range.
(*mortified*) I...I can’t lay a finger on him/her. If I lose now, I’ll spend the rest of my life cowering under Dio’s/Delia’s shadow! (*determined*) ....But most importantly, I need to fight, I have to defend Erina’s/Erwin’s honor!
(*distraught, but calm approach*) The only home I've ever known will be in ashes before the dawn. Father/Mother is dead, and I am alone. I have nothing left to lose... (small pause*) But my life itself. (*angry*) We'll go to the flames together, Dio/Delia! I'll gladly die if it means an end to your evil!
(*with aggressive energy*) SUNLIGHT YELLOW, OVERDRIVE!
The main villain of Part 1, Phantom Blood. Was born into a very poor childhood, and later adopted by the Joestar family, however, he/she gets bloodthirsty for power, cunning and very spiteful and uses the Stone Mask to turn themself into a vampire. At this point, they will stop at nothing to end the Joestar bloodline.
We are seeking a mature, mid-to-low-ranged sounding voice with a dark tone, sounding malicious, and very manipulative.
(*devilishly tempting*) Now, mademoiselle/monsieur...I offer you, a simple choice. Would you not care to enjoy your youth, and beauty, for all eternity? Fret not my dear... I shall not force my friendship upon you, like others might do... you control your life, you hold your destiny in your own hands~
(*with a lot of spiteful and cunning energy*) Jojo! I should thank you for the source of my newly found power! Your father’s/mother’s blood, and the ancient mask!
(*calm, but devious, then angry*) Your hamon training avails you NOTHING. It’s absolutely USELESS, USELESS, USELESS, USELESS, USELESS, USELESS, USELESS, USELESS, USELESS, USELESS! (*projecting your voice with an evil tone to show authority*) A mere monkey can NEVER defeat a lion! In comparison to MY POWER, YOU’RE NOTHING BUT A MERE MONKEY JOJO!
FACE THE MUSIC JOJO, A ZOMBIE IS ALL YOU’LL EVER BE! (*war cry*) WRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Jonathan/Jocelyn’s best friend, Robert/Ruth E.O. Speedwagon, introduced as an enemy, comes to join Jonathan/Jocelyn, on their journey to defeat Dio/Delia, and has had a strong bond of friendship along the way.
I’m seeking for mid-ranged vocals, that showcase a tender, and supportive friend who care about the main character.
(*kindly informing*) Right about now, you’re probably wondering who I am. Allow me to elucidate ya! The name is Robert/Ruth E. O. Speedwagon! I had a hunch Jonathan’s/Jocelyn’s run of trouble might not be done, so I followed him/her back home. I like you, Jonathan/Jocelyn, so I’m gonna offer up this little tidbit pro bono: living in the gutter, you learn to spot lowlifes pretty quick if you want to see tomorrow.
(*shocked*) Uncanny! With crossing his arms, he can mount an attack while still keeping his guard up for protection! That incredible strategy!
(*protective, but raising voice in a worried manner*) Mr./Ms. Zeppeli, you said your arm needed to be thawed, aye? Is my heart warm enough to thaw it for you? In a place called the Arctic, I’ve heard people covering themselves in seal carcasses to help fight their frostbite!
A hamon master, hailing from Italy who helps Jonathan/Jocelyn destroy the stone mask and defeat Dio/Delia. She’s fearless, and quite eccentric, and will do anything he/she can to help Jonathan/Jocelyn train in the art of ripple breathing.
We’re looking for a mid-to-high ranged voice with a quirky tone, yet very fearless sounding voice.

What you see is the force that eased your pain and healed your broken bones Signore/Signorina Joestar! (*screaming*) HA!
Stand aside my friends, I will do the fighting here. He is a zombie; and zombies must feed on living flesh to survive. However, they are on constant thrall to their master, much like marionettes.
(*extremely somber and serious*) The day will come when this, will be the death of you... En Fine; is tonight of the night.. that I will go to my grave. Face is a fickle mistress, but I cannot deny her.
Jonathan/Jocelyn’s childhood friend and love interest. A damsel who our main hero is acquaintances with and spend a lot of time together in their past, and still to this day, helped heal Jonathan/Jocelyn after getting wounded in battle.
We are seeking a high ranged voice, with a sweet sounding tone, almost motherly or fatherly.
(*distraught, but very tender*) I don’t know, how the things that are occurring today are possible... It’s all...to impossible to bear; I don’t know whether I should cry or scream. Perhaps I should just faint death away and block it out...
(*tenderly, and softly*) In the warmth of these lips; I feel.. the cool ebbing of his/her life... Jonathan/Jocelyn Joestar is dying.... but, we are together. I want to stay like this.....until the ship explodes, and everything burns to ash...
(*narrating*) Jonathan/Jocelyn Joestar passed away into undeserved oblivion. His/Her life was an important part of history, but invisible to ordinary people. Most of humanity, for who he/she sacrificed, will never know of his/her noble accomplishments. But his/her descendants will. The life within me, newly created by Jonathan/Jocelyn and I, will certainly hear his/her story.
A skilled Italian hamon user who is dedicated in what he/she does, and is a bit of a hot head.
Caesar/Ciara is Will/Willow’s grandkid, and wants to take a lot of pride in that, while also being extremely dedicated fighting the Pillar Men and Women.
I’m seeking a person who knows how to convert emotion in their tone well, and someone who especially know how to act pissy in situations, and a mid-to-high range.
(FYI: About the Italian accent, I would recommend you have it with your audition, but if you can’t emulate it, that’s fine.)
(*slightly pissed and somewhat disappointed*) I don’t think that’s any excuse. I heard about Straizo, and I was impressed to find out that he fought one of the Pillar Men and Women. But I wanted to see for myself how tough he was, so I waited at the hotel. And I’m disappointed to say the least that his Hamon skills, leave much to be desired.
(*pissed off yelling*) Oh, we’ll see who dies! (*small pause*) I feel like I did back then, when I was naïve and poor! BACK WHEN YOU VICIOUSLY TOOK THE LIFE OF MY FATHER! And now... I’ll use... MY VICIOUSNESS TO DESTROY YOU!
(*dying*) It’s tradition.. (*bloody cough*) I have to do something. I...I just can’t let my bloodline die out... just butter out to darkness.. (*projecting voice*) This is the Zeppeli family spirit! Handed down from the past to ensure the family’s future! It’s the family’s spirit! (*small pause*) (*yelling*) JOJO! THIS IS THE LAST OF MY HAMON! TAKE IT FROM MEEEEEEE!
A strong Hamon user, and coach or mentor of Joseph, and Caesar/Ciara. A dedicated, and courageous individual, also quite strict with our hero’s training with the Hamon. Little is know about their background, including their real name, due to them wanting to keep a mature and mysterious aura.
I am looking for a low ranged voice with a strict, and mysterious tone to it, similar to the Japanese dub.
You should just be happy that you impressed me with your initial display of skills. Walking on water when you obviously lack proper training is quite an accomplishment. (*raising voice*) However, if you TRULY wish to master Hamon in a month, YOU MUST BE PREPARED TO DIE FOR IT!
(*suspiciously or mildly paranoid*) Tarja is here... I...I can feel her! But.. she seems to be coming from above as well as below...
(*softly crying*) (*distraught*) Caesar/Ciara... (*more soft crying*)
A German Nazi soldier, who helps Joseph and the others take down Tarja (Kars) and the other Pillar Men and Women, with German science and technology. Rudol/Rudi is quite brash and loud most of the time, and takes a lot of pride in what he/she does, to a point where they might seem boastful, and overly confident.
We are looking for a mid-ranged voice who sounds quite brash, and loud, also very confident with their voice, and can pull of a very thick but natural German accent. I want this to STRONGLY resemble the Japanese dub.
(*yelling very confidently*) YOU ARE THE FOOOOOOL! GERMAN SCIENCE IS THE FINEST IN THE WORLD! THESE ARMS HAVE SUCH GREAT POWER! THEY WERE CONSTRUCTED BASED ON THE ABILITIES OF SANVIENTO!
(*determinately*) I’m going to pluck you like a chicken, bit by bit, and take you apart one square centimeter at a time! Hey Jojo! Don’t you DARE even think about feeling sorry for me. (*small pause*) (*boasting*) BEHOLD, MY PROUD NEW FORM! IT’S THE VERY EMBODIMENT OF THE ULTIMATE PEAK OF GERMAN SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING! YOU SEE? I’M NOT ONLY HUMAN, I’M MOREEEEEEE!
(*girly scream*) (*loudly panicking*) NO! DAMMIT! STOP NOW! WHATEVER YOU DO, DON’T FIRE THE UV AMPLIFIERRRR! (*shreiking very girlishly*) WE’RE DONE FORRRRRRRRRR!
One of the few Pillar Men and Women warriors left, and is servicing Tarja and Esidisi, also Joseph’s personal rival throughout Part 2. Takes combat very seriously, and has a very strong sense of honor in fighting, and how he/she does it. Wamuu looks down on other people, but will very much respect them if they are dedicated into their combat.
We are seeking a person with a low-range, and speaks with a lot of authority, and with a serious tone, and expression, and also a VERY SLIGHT grit to their voice.
I see the world has undergone significant changes during my slumber. These insignificant adventures must be quite popular here. (*small pause*) (*raising voice*) I said your pitiful humanizations have no match against my power!
(*informing*) This ring will start to dissolve in 33 days. It’s impossible to remove, and once dissolved, it will release a virulent poison. Any attempt to remove or damage it, will also release the lethal poison.
(*softly*) I am Wamuu, although sworn to Lord Tarja, I will not allow the vampires to attack you. It’s not because of sentiment, as I told Caesar/Ciara this as well. To me, only the strong truly existed. Victory was the single quality to be admired. I existed to only my own code of honor.
The second highest ranked Pillar Man/Woman, only under Tarja, and battles Joseph and the gang for the Stone of Aja. Esidisi is usually confident and witty when combatting, especially with humans. Despite this, he/she is usually very calm and tranquil, and is a master tactician.
We’re seeking a mid-to-low ranged voice with bold emotion, and someone who doesn’t take crap from anyone; and has a daunting feel.
(*I want you to give me, THE MOST, ABSOLUTELY, UGLIEST, OBNOXIOUS AND ANNOYING CRY YOU CAN. Start off small, then overtime, it turns into uncontrollable BAWLING. I want a solid minute of this obnoxiously ugly and loud bawling. Make it awkward as well! I want to feel very awkward when I hear it.*)
(*intimidatingly*) An animal’s core temperature will increase when its body is greatly exerting itself. I can raise my blood up to 500 degrees and then shoot it out at will. At the same time I took off his arm. I also sent in some of my boiling blood to show you. (*small pause*) With his/her Divine Sandstorm, Wamuu can control the wind. (*gradually projecting voice to show authority*) My domain.. is that of heat. I control the inferno.
(*evil chuckle*) (*calmly but bluffing*) So Jojo, What was that phrase you said earlier? Something like: “Victory is decided before the battle has begun?” Is that it? (*gradually projecting voice loudly to show victory*) Well it’s true, true..... VERY TRUE VERY TRUE VERY TRUE! (*raised voiced to show victory*) How incredibly true were the words you spoke... but MY plans were the ones to go deeper! MY PLANS WERE THE ONES TO CALL VICTORY!
There is not really a specific role here, however this is if you want to audition for any of the other minor roles in Parts 1 and 2. Just make sure you comment you who went for, and which part their from, the lines you used for them, and your range fits whoever your going for.
