Project Overview
Welcome to Sonic Comic Central! Your one-stop-shop for all dubs of Sonic Comics! We're a group of passionate VAs and Sonic fans with the noble goal of dubbing every single Ian Flynn Pre-boot Archie Sonic Comic. We also plan on branching out to other Sonic comics, such as other Archie Eras, IDW, Sonic the Comic and even Fan-comics!
This Casting Call covers the first half of Batch 1 of the comics we'll be dubbing. As more dubs are produced, more batches will need casting and more CCs will go up.

The Casting Call for the second half of Batch 1 will go up once production on the first few dubs begins.

EXTRA INFORMATION:
The "Deferred Amount" on each role isn't exactly a deferred amount per say. When the channel becomes monetized, a fair pay for the VAs will be decided upon.

Princess Sally Acorn is a mobian squirrel-chipmunk. She is the princess of the Kingdom of Acorn and is also known as the leader of the Freedom Fighters.
While a voice that matches her voice in the 1993 Sonic cartoon would be good, feel free to make the role your own! A unique take will always be more interesting than a copy-paste!

Miles Prower, better known by his nickname Tails, is a mobian two-tailed fox, born on the day of Dr. Ivo Robotnik's takeover of Mobotropolis. Since he was young, Tails has been at Sonic's side, helping him and the Knothole Freedom Fighters defeat Dr. Robotnik and other evil forces.
I'm looking for a Colleen'O'Shaughnessy/Kate Higgins type voice for Tails, but once again, feel free to make the role your own!

Rotor Walrus is a mobian walrus and was a key member of the Knothole Freedom Fighters, using his skills and knowledge of technology and mechanics to provide the Mobians with an edge against the forces of Dr. Eggman. Following Sonic the Hedgehog's return from outer space, Rotor limited his involvement with field operations and stuck to providing data and technological assistance.
Rotor's voice should be a bit gruff, but in a big friendly giant sort of way.
Sorry, Tails, but you've got me. They're supposed to only cross dimensions into the special zone.

Boomer Walrus, originally known as Anti-Rotor, or Evil Rotor is the Moebius counterpart of Mobius Prime's Rotor Walrus, and a member of the Suppression Squad.
Boomer Walrus should be also be gruff, but not in a friendly way. Boomer's gruffness should give more of a violent tone.

Miles Prower, formerly known as Anti-Tails or Evil-Tails, is the Moebius version of Miles "Tails" Prower. Miles was one of the original Anti-Freedom Fighters, but unlike his counterpart, he held no loyalty or brotherly admiration for Anti-Sonic. Also, instead of being humble and kind like Tails, Miles is a cunning and smug mastermind who seeks to appear more formidable despite his age out of self-interest.
Anti-Tails should have the same youthful energy as current day Tails, but he should be trying to sound older and more composed. He'll revert to that fully child-like voice when he's frightened.
I'm merely observing that with Sonic present, it wouldn't take much to tip the scales of war in either direction. (cunning)

Princess Alicia Acorn formerly known as Anti-Sally or Evil Sally, is the Moebius counterpart of Sally Acorn. Originally a member of the Anti-Freedom Fighters and the girlfriend of Scourge the Hedgehog, Alicia left him when the group believed Anti-Sonic lacked effective leadership skills. When Evil Sonic, partially transformed and now going by the name of Scourge, returned to Moebius, Alicia once again became subservient to him, joining the new Suppression Squad.
Alicia should sound like Sally's SatAM voice, but a lot more menacing. But once again, feel free to make the role your own!
Things got shuffled around when Scourge came back. So Fiona gets to be his "Queen." Survival's more important than titles.
Careful what you say, Miles. That's got a twinge of treason to it.

Patch D'Coolette, formerly known as Anti-Antoine "Patch" D'Coolette or Evil Antoine is Antoine D'Coolette's evil counterpart from Anti-Mobius. Patch was a member of the Anti-Freedom Fighters, but unlike his cowardly counterpart, Patch was evil, fierce and an expert warrior, but also had murderous tendencies, which drove him to attempt assassinations on Anti-Sonic on more than one occasion. Patch was also the love interest of Anti-Sally and gained his nickname (now first name) from wearing an eye-patch, despite previously having perfect functionality of both eyes.
Patch should sound posh, but gruff. He has a French accent and should have a commanding voice.

Fiona Fox is a traumatized survivor of Dr. Robotnik's conquest shaped by abandonment and perceived betrayal. Although initially a member of the Knothole Freedom Fighters, she ultimately rejected trust, heroism, and redemption in favor of self-preservation, power, and loyalty only to those who match her cynical worldview. She is the devoted partner of Scourge the Hedgehog and a leader/field commander of the Destructix.
My vision for Fiona's voice is something akin to the 4Kidz Rouge voice but less sultry. She should be commanding, but have some flirtatious energy as well.
I heard. And you better watch your tone, princess. Alright, Suppression Squad! Press forward!

Vector the Crocodile is a mobian crocodile, one of knuckles the Echidna's oldest friends and the de-facto leader of the Chaotix.
For Vector, the only necessity is to keep the gruffness of any of his official voice actors. Aside from that, feel free to take the role wherever!

Amy Rose is a young, carefree mobian hedgehog who has had a crush on Sonic the Hedgehog for years. Born in the Kingdom of Mercia, she was sent to the safe haven of Knothole Village by her cousin Rob o' the Hedge after her parents and much of the kingdom were roboticized. As a young girl in Knothole, Amy developed a crush on Sonic the Hedgehog.
Like Knuckles, feel free to do whatever with this role. An accurate voice or a fan interp!

Bunnie D'Coolette, birth name Bunnie Rabbot is a mobian rabbit and the wife of her teammate Antoine D'Coolette. Bunnie was among the many mobians subjected to Dr. Ivo Robotnik's Roboticizer after being captured by his SWATbots, though the process was interrupted by Freedom Fighter agents Sonic the Hedgehog and Rotor Walrus, thus only a portion of her body was roboticized.
Bunnie has a southern accent, so try to form her voice around that. Feel free to stay true to the SatAM voice or make the role your own, but please retain the accent.

Antoine D'Coolette is a mobian coyote and the son of the late army General Armand D'Coolette. He is as well a faithful and longtime member of the Knothole Freedom Fighters and husband of his teammate Bunnie D'Coolette. Formerly cowardly, now noble yet serious about his duties, Antoine fought alongside his fellow Freedom Fighters against the evil forces of Dr. Eggman and the Eggman Empire.
Antoine also requires a french accent. Feel free to stay accurate to the SatAM voice or do your own thing.

Lien-Da is a mobian echidna and is currently the leader of the Dark Legion, having inherited the title after Dimitri's incapacitation. Lien-Da is sometimes called Kommissar.
Lien-da should have a deep voice with a commanding presence. That is all.

Julie-Su is a mobian echidna and the girlfriend of Knuckles the Echidna. Julie-Su was brought up among the Dark Legion, being a descendant of Dimitri. After her parents were murdered by her half-sister Lien-Da, she joined Knuckles and his group, the Chaotix.
Julie-Su's voice should exude confidence. No other ideas there. Have fun with the role.
She was never much of a listener. Never much of a sister, either.

Lien-Da's retreat led her right to the others. They need our help!

Saffron Bee is a young mobian bee from the former Golden Hive Colony and is also one of Charmy Bee's earliest friends. While Saffron can at times be naive, she's brave, determined and always willing to help others, especially her friends. Saffron would eventually become a member of the Chaotix with her fiancé Charmy after the Golden Hive Colony was destroyed by Dr. Eggman.
Feel free to make the role your own, seeing as she has no fanon voice. I would recommend making her sound somewhat posh, but do try out your own thing.
Loud and clear, Julie-Su! The boys are almost done setting all the charges.

Espio the Chameleon is a mobian chameleon who resides in Rainbow Valley on Angel Island, and also a member of the Dragon Kingdom's Shinobi Clan. He is one of the original members of the Chaotix and his ability to camouflage makes him a formidable opponent. While he tends to prefer performing missions on his own, Espio also works well as a team player in the Chaotix.
Espio, like the other main characters, can be a fan-interpretation or be accurate to any of his official voices.

Mighty the Armadillo is a mobian eastern armadillo possessing incredible strength, a member of the Chaotix, and the best friend and adoptive brother of Ray the Flying Squirrel, having met him while both were held prisoner by Dr. Ivo Robotnik.
Mighty should sound like a strong yet peaceful character. He does hate violence, after all. He has no official voice, so feel free to do your own thing too!

Dimitri is Knuckles the Echidna's arch-nemesis, and is also the brother of an ancestor of Knuckles, Edmund, and an ancestor of the leaders of the Dark Legion, as well as Julie-Su.
Dimitri's voice, like Nicole's, should still sound lively, with a slight robotic tone.
I was made Grandmaster of the legion. it is my duty to ensure the safety of my people. I will not sit idly by and let you lead them to failure and ruin.
Listen up, my Dark Egg Legion! The enemy surrounds us and would destroy a key outpost in our benefactor's city!

Nicole is an artificial intelligence program that originally resided in Sally Acorn's portable hand-held computer from a possible future of Mobius that has since been destroyed. She is incredibly versatile and able to interact with and manipulate most machinery and computer systems due to her advanced technology and is capable of mental and emotional growth. Due to the latter, she has gradually become more and more lifelike in demeanor during her time interacting with the Knothole Freedom Fighters. Eventually she herself desired to "live" as they do and developed a complex holographically simulated body that can be projected where resources are available. She later used the Nanite city created by A.D.A.M. to create New Mobotropolis and became the city's steward and administrator, serving and protecting the city's people and her friends however she could.
For Nicole, feel free too be accurate to SatAM or do your own thing. I'd suggest your average deep female voice with a bit of a robotic demeanour. Feel free to add the robot filter on your own, though I am able to do it in post.

Rosemary Prower is a mobian fox who is the wife of Amadeus Prower, sister-in-law of Merlin Prower, and mother of Miles "Tails" Prower. Rosemary lived in Mobotropolis with her husband and, shortly after the Great War, became pregnant with Tails. The same day of Robotnik's takeover, Amadeus was roboticized trying to stop Robotnik's insane plans, while at the same time Rosemary went into labor.
No pointers for Rosemary. Have fun with the role.
Scourge may have conquered the Anti-Mobius, but our world is different. He won't make his gains so easily.

Hamlin Pig is a mobian pig who was personally trained by Sally Acorn and became a member of the Substitute Freedom Fighters. After several years of service, he was elected to the Council of Acorn.
Hamlin should have a booming voice. He speaks loudly, when ticked of, but still speaks within reason otherwise.
Besides, considering the gains we've made on Robotnik's city, we should focus our attacks on him! We can get Freedom HQ back later.

King Elias Acorn of Mobius is the son of Maximillian Acorn and Alicia Acorn, and is the older brother of Sally Acorn. He grew up on Angel Island out of the eye of the public, his father having assumed that he died in transit to the island, and was torn between the life he wished to lead and his duty to the crown for much of his young adulthood.

Sir Charles Hedgehog is a mobian hedgehog and a Knight in the service of the Kingdom of Acorn, having earned his knighthood because of his personal friendship and services to King Maximillian Acorn. After Sonic's parents Bernadette and Jules disappeared, Sonic became especially close with Charles and learned many of his most important lessons from him, as Charles acted like a foster father. Charles' capture and roboticization was the catalyst which led to Sonic's development as a hero.
Charles (Uncle Chuck) should maintain his voice from Sonic Underground's first episode, but once again, feel free to do your own interpretation.
I helped build a new set of Star Posts so Sonic and Amy Rose could travel to their "Moebius" and find a way to send those punks home.

Archimedes, also known as Archy, like his ancestors and the Guardians, is long-lived, having served as mentor to Knuckles and his father Locke, among others.

Prince Charmy Bee is a teenage mobian bee, a member of the Chaotix, and the prince of the destroyed Golden Hive Colony. He left his home seeking adventure and ended up taking residence on Angel Island, but returned home after the loss of a close friend. He subsequently rejoined the Chaotix with his girlfriend, Saffron, after Dr. Eggman invaded and destroyed their home, and continued to fight alongside them and the Knothole Freedom Fighters against Eggman and other evils, though he got briefly subjugated to the Egg Grape Chamber and suffered memory loss.
Charmy should be accurate to how he sounds in the games, though a simple little boy voice should suffice.

Jules Hedgehog is the father of the world-famous Freedom Fighter and hero Sonic the Hedgehog. During his time of service to the Acorn Kingdom Army in the Great War, Jules was fatally injured, forcing him to become the first ever mobian in history to go through Charles' latest and greatest creation; the Roboticizer, to save his life, though could never hope to return to normal due to his lingering injuries. In later years, Jules had been reunited with his son and family and, despite being the last robian, continued to be the father Sonic lacked for many years.
Jules is Sonic's dad. Run with that! Have fun with the interpretation! My only request is to not make him sound robotic. He may be a robian, but he still talks like a mobian.

Buns Rabbot, formerly known as Anti-Bunnie, is Bunnie D'Coolette's Anti-Verse counterpart from Moebius and one of Scourge the Hedgehog's ex-girlfriends. Anti-Bunnie was once a member of the Anti-Freedom Fighters, but Scourge kicked her out of the group after she developed a degenerative illness. After being left for dead, she was rescued by Dr. Ivo Kintobor, who placed her in the care of the Omega Care Unit to prevent her NIDS from spreading. Since then, Buns has served as a protector of the kindly Julian Kintobor.
Buns should have a voice similar to Bunnie. Southern accent and all. Though to differentiate her, I'd like her to sound more sassy.

Doctor Ivo Kintobor is the Moebius counterpart of Dr. Ivo Robotnik. Unlike his Mobius Prime counterpart, Anti-Robotnik is a kind and gentle overlander who actually protects the Anti-Mobians from the Suppression Squad.
He should sound like how Eggman does in Sonic Boom. He is, after all, a certified chill guy.

I am Dr. Ivo Kintobor! I run the Hospital Tower we just came from. It houses the force-field generator I use to protect the Grand Forest and all the Moebians who fear King Scourge's tyranny.

Rosy the Rascal, formerly known as Anti-Amy Rose, was the Moebius counterpart of Amy Rose. Shown to be mentally unstable, Rosy seeks to attack just about anyone who gets close to her, and constantly haunts Scourge the Hedgehog for ignoring her.
Rosy should sound like Harley Quin. Genuine Instanity.

Mari-An is a female mobian echidna, formerly from the Lost Tribe of Echidnas, and the wife of Rob O' the Hedge. A formidable warrior, Mari-An helped free the Lost Tribe from the High Sheriff's control. Later, when the Lost Tribe arrived on Albion, Mari-An remained in the Kingdom of Mercia to be with Rob, with whom she eventually had a child named Jon O'Hedge.
Mari-An, like Rob, should have a Shakespearean accent. Otherwise, have fun with the role!
And we're on Mercia! On the other side of the ocean.

King Robert O'Hedge, better known as Rob o' the Hedge, is the cousin of Amy Rose and the leader of the Mercian Freedom Fighters. Residing in Deerwood Forest outside of the former Kingdom of Mercia, Rob spent much of his adolescence combating the rule of Dr. Ivo Robotnik's sub-boss, the High Sheriff.
Rob should have a Shakespearean accent. That is all. Have fun with the role!

Snively Robotnik is the Overlander nephew of the infamous world-despot Dr. Ivo Robotnik. Snively was both devious and treacherous, and was responsible for his uncle's death when he reprogrammed the Ultimate Annihilator to target only his DNA.
Snively should sound like he does in SatAM, but feel free to do a fanon voice or your own thing!

Bernadette Hedgehog is a mobian hedgehog who is the mother of Sonic the Hedgehog. Both Bernie and Jules were agents of King Acorn's special forces during the Great War. Following the takeover of Dr. Ivo Robotnik, Bernadette was subsequently roboticized and became a mindless servant of the world despot. Years later, when her free will was restored, Bernie became the mother that Sonic lacked for the majority of his life.
No guidelines for Bernie. She's Sonic's mom. Have fun with it!

Zector is a Zone Cop and No Zone counterpart to Vector the Crocodile.

Zonic is a Zone Cop, and Sonic the Hedgehog's counterpart from the No Zone, a place 90° from everywhere. His job as a Zone Cop required him to monitor all realities maintaining balance in all zones, only allowing people to appear in other Zones when they are needed.
My vision for Zonic is a Sonic voice mixed with a bit of an 80s police show type voice, but once again, feel free to do your own thing!
As if we hadn't had enough trouble... All points converge on the central precinct! Scourge is the priority target!

Regina Ferrum, more commonly known as the Iron Queen, and formerly known as the Bride of the Four Houses, is an overlander who worked alongside the Iron King in the Dragon Kingdom.
