Project Overview

Joe and Hopper is an indie animated webseries by YouTuber 'SnazzyVEVO' that follows the troubling misadventures of a psychosis-ridden rabbit and their best friend: a talking mug. A long time ago, Hopper made a horrible mistake that was once thought to be swept under the rug, but as it's come to light, they realize that they only have a year to remedy this situation before it's too late.



The series heavily deals with topics like suicide and depression, but also highlights the high sides of life, like love and companionship. Uploads to the series are irregular as it is a independently created project, but we'd love your help in bringing life to characters without a voice!

  • Shortlist Update + What's Next???

    Hello hello!

    I've finally had the pleasure of sitting down and listening to every single audition that landed in my inbox, and I'd give you all a large round of applause (if I could)! I was a little nervous initially, because I've never had to listen to so many auditions on this kind of scale before, but the more I got into it, the more enamored I became with how talented you all are. When I closed my eyes, I could actually see my characters talking to me in fully animated glory.

    That being said, I have my shortlist devised at the moment, cutting down each role to around 17 Auditions. I hate to keep the suspense because I know that there are some who are eager to find the results, but I'd like to gather second and third opinions from close friends and current cast members. This is a long-term project anyway, if and when you make the part you'll be in for the long run!

    Lastly, I know there will be disappointment anyway that this shakes out, and it breaks my heart as a fellow actor to know that I'm letting people down. However, I know that you are all talented, and though you may not be the perfect fit in this call, there's a chance I may reach out privately in search of your talent in the future. Who knows!! No promises of course.

    Anyhow, sorry to yap. The next update on this page will be the last and will be announcing the official roles (with a video)! Stay tuned!

  • Deadline Extension + Other Info! WOW!

    Hello Hello!

    First of all: WOW! Thank you all so much for the Support/Auditions/Feedback! I wasn't at all expecting a turnout like this at all. I haven't listened to any auditions yet, and I won't be able to for at least another week because of college, which brings me to my next point...

    DEADLINE EXTENSION!
    I received an email and a couple personal direct messages through social media expressing regret for not having found the project sooner, and I APOLOGIZE! I didn't spread the word nearly as much as I wanted to, so I've decided to extend the deadline by a week to make up for it. I do apologize for making such a last minute decision to extend the deadline by a week, I'm only human after all.

    In the meantime, feel free to reach out to me personally about any questions or concerns regarding the project! I look forward to hearing all of the lovely auditions in a weeks time. Thanks so much!

He believes that there are many injustices that go unseen and wants to do what he can to bring light to anything and everything.

He lands himself a unique murder case involving an up and coming indie band with lots of holes and inconsistencies, realizing that there's lots of potential opportunity. Though, he is completely unaware of the danger lurking.
