JINU’S GIFT: A KPOP DEMON HUNTERS STORY (A FORTNITE SHORT SKIT)
Project Overview
Hello,
We create short films set in the Fortnite universe. Our content is rated PG-13 and presented in episodic format. Our goal is to make the game’s complex story fun, engaging, and easy to follow, blending cinematic action, humor, and character-driven moments.
Note: Some characters are planned to return in future episodes, giving you the opportunity to reprise roles and explore their growth over time!
NOTE: FOR THIS PROJECT ONLY!
The plan is for only one short video; the script is 11 pages long, NO SINGING NEEDED.
Creative freedom: We encourage actors to bring personality and interpretation to their characters, while staying true to the script.
Community & collaboration: Join a passionate team of creators and voice actors. Work together, give and receive feedback, and see your performance come alive in the Fortnite universe.
Growth & opportunities: Strong performances can lead to recurring roles, larger parts, or participation in special seasonal projects.
Recognition: You’ll be credited in our YouTube video descriptions with your preferred name and social media link. Recommendation letters on CCC are available on request.
No Fortnite experience needed: You do not need to know the game to participate.
We do not use AI: Ever. All performances are human-driven.
Equipment requirements: A good microphone and quiet recording space are required. Some lines may involve yelling, so your mic must handle high volumes without distortion.
Recording expectations: When hired, we ask that each line be recorded with a minimum of two takes to ensure the best performance. Any additional retakes would be scheduled at a later time if needed.
Feedback & communication: Having a Discord account is preferred but not mandatory. We use it for easy communication and to provide feedback on your performance, but we can also use other methods. This allows you to record your lines when it’s most convenient for you.
Deadlines: Scripts are usually due within 3–5 days.
Commitment: While there’s no binding contract, we hope you can complete your role once you start.
Script length & screen time: Scripts average 40 pages, but characters usually appear for 2–5 minutes depending on importance.
Tone: Our shorts combine cinematic action, humor, and emotional moments. Be prepared to perform a range of expressions, from comedic timing to dramatic intensity.
Season pacing: Seasons typically last around 80 days, aligned with Fortnite’s schedule. We usually release 1–5 videos per season, though some seasons may have fewer depending on content.

Lead Role
Rumi is the strategic core of the Demon Hunters group, known for her sharp intuition, calm presence, and determination. She is the type who carries the team’s emotional weight without showing cracks. A natural leader with a Kpop idol’s charm blended with a seasoned hunter’s edge. We are looking for a voice that can balance quiet confidence with real vulnerability in key moments.

Supporting Role
Zoey is the spark of the squad, loud, energetic, expressive, and never afraid to vocalize whatever she is feeling in the moment. She brings levity to dark situations but can switch into fierce mode instantly. Looking for someone with strong emotional range who can go from playful idol to explosive fighter without losing authenticity.

Supporting Role
Mira is the icy disciple of an ancient demon hunting order. She keeps her emotions locked down but feels deeply underneath. She speaks with precision and purpose, almost ritualistic in tone. We want a voice that can carry cool elegance with cracks of emotion slipping through at the right moments.

Minor Role
Bobby is the grounded big brother energy of the squad, fiercely loyal and always the first to put himself in danger to protect others. He blends idol charm with a warm protector personality. Comedy timing is important but so is heartfelt seriousness.
Exaggerated enthusiasm, dramatic flair, but genuine care. Looking for upbeat energy and clean comedic delivery.

Lead Antagonist
Goja Cat is the ancient Mother of Thorns, a supernatural idol whose power is rooted in corruption, enchantment, and elegance. She is terrifyingly beautiful and carries herself like someone worshipped across centuries. Her voice should feel hypnotic, regal, and slightly predatory, as if every word could either bless or ruin whoever hears it. She is not loud or chaotic. She is slow, confident, and impossible to read.
