Jewelpet Fandub Casting Call! (Deadline Extended for Two Parts and the editor position)

Project Overview

StonestreamDubs is back with a new Project! A new Fandub! Once again, with no prior dub, so this time, it'll put all your voice acting chops to the test! Now, for the Description: 

Good day auditioners! My name is Dave Stenstrom, aka Stonestream Dubs on YouTube, here with another Fandub. I largely stopped doing Fandubs due to the dropping support, as well as the fact as to how aggressive Copyright from the companies involved was. However, the Jewelpet Fandom has shown themselves to be a VERY supportive community and Sanrio appears to be a company that is largely hands off when it comes to Copyright. Much like Zatch Bell, we will be attempting to do ALL the episodes. Without further ado, I'll go over the process here for the parts that are up for audition. 


Where to send the auditions: [redacted] 

Format: .wav, .mp3 or .m4a 

Requirements for Mic: Blue Snowball or Better 

Time Formats: If takes are not to my liking I would like to meet with you on discord and do a session to direct you. 

Email Format: Title will contain the name of the characters you're auditioning for and the name you'd like to be credited by (If you wish to be credited by your real name or JUST your YouTube name or a Surname, please specify)

How Progress on Lines will be handled: So, good news, I WILL be taking Understudies for roles! I'll even let you know if you made Understudy, and even the Understudies will be invited to my discord where you will get updates about projects and see my latest videos and everything! If I have new projects going should we manage to organize everything quite well, you'll be the first ones to know, and if there are extra parts needed for an episode, you'll be highly considered as well if you jump on it! But for those who are the 1st Picks, this is how it will be working if you're selected and are sent the scripts:

1st Deadline: You'll be given a "Soft Deadline" of a sort, a "Thereabouts" when I need the lines. Typically about Early or Later part of a certain month. Getting them before or on then would be perfect. 

2nd Deadline: Once I have more lines from the soft deadlines, I'll start handing out "Hard Deadlines" This will be a more specific date and will likely be 2-3 Weeks out from when I give it. If you deliver an episode or 2's lines if you have a relatively large part, the Hard Deadline will be extended. 

3rd Deadline (1st Warning or replacement): If you have still given me NOTHING by this point, BUT have remained in contact, we will see what we can do to improve your ability to record with the next 2 weeks. If you have gone MIA and are unable to be contacted, I will consider this an abdication until further notice, and we will move to the first Understudy. (The same will apply so on and so forth from the 2nd and 3rd Understudies for the following rules) 

4th Deadline (2nd Warning or Replacement): If you haven't recorded, but you've stayed in contact, and you've yet to give any lines, we unfortunately will be forced to replace you if you dont' have anything within 1 week after the 3rd Deadline. If you've gone MIA after the 3rd deadline, we'll proceed with your 1st Understudy. 

Also: If you have large followings on Social Media, when an episode comes out, I simply ask that you help spread the episode about so that views can be accrued quickly! And if you have editing abilities and capabilities, PLEASE let me know, more editors will help.

    I had Covid and was busy dealing with the beauracracy of work, as well as generally resting, so I've decided to extend the deadline, but I will still be making final decisions on a few of the roles here and announcing them!

Rinko is a somewhat scatterbrained young girl who often daydreams of the life she could had, so much so when she's confronted with challenges she's unprepared for, she tends to retreat inward. That is where her Jewelpet, the Rabbit of Courage, Ruby, inadvertantly helps her


  • Line 1: (Amorous, You can ask me what that word means) "One day, a handsome Prince atop a white horse will come and sweep me off my feet..."


  • Line 2: (Sad, down on herself) "I don't know if I can do this Minami..."




  • Line 3: (Upbeat, thinking) "It turns out that what I needed in life was a little white bunny..."

Ari is a aristocratic overachiever who isn't quite the stick in the mud people picture in their minds, she's kind, open minded and willing to help those in need. However, her flaw is that she's very reclusive and requires help to open up and speak her mind more often. 



  • Line 1: (Mild Happiness, some stoicism) "Rinko Kougyoku, as class president, I nominate you to give the speech  to our incoming class!" 


  • Line 2: (Emotion: Sad and nervous) No, it’s nothing. Say Rinko…Only if you want to…would you maybe…like to have tea with me again sometime?

Ryoko is Ari's slightly snobbish friend who initially treats Rinko and Minami with some disdain but starts to warm up to them after she gets a Jewelpet of her own.

  • Line 2: (Emotion: confused, angry) All of a sudden, she wasn’t able to understand her lessons. And then, disappointed, she started skipping class and hanging out with those delinquents at arcades and family restaurants



  • Line 3: (Attitude: Snobbish) Let me make one thing clear. I won’t take any help from the likes of you. Just because Aoi is being nice to you, doesn’t mean you can act all high and mighty.

Diana is largely the main villain of the series, she's the collective Jewelpet for the Shadow Herb Thieves, but her ability is to corrupt human perception and other forms of corruptive magic, with her goal being to rule both the human world and Jewel land.
