Jack the Giant ( PRE PRODUCTION PHASE ) 15+
Project Overview
Howdy everyone!! My name is Liam Black I am a 16 year old animator and filmmaker from London Ontario, I have been working in video production for the past 8 years, and have been the founder of an indie team of artists called Star Watch Studios for the past 4 years. ITS TIME THOUGH THAT STAR WATCH STUDIOS MAKES THEIR FIRST EVER FEATURE LENGTH FILM!!!! It’ll have musical numbers, drama, childhood trauma AND MORE!!! It’s a project I’ve been working on behind the scenes for over 3 years now, making concepts, discussing it with friends, to even getting a composer on board to write a song. I’m at the point where I’m ready to bring more people on board
Plot: ( keep in mind that most of what’s written here is the story that leads up to the plot of the movie, the plot really starts when we get to Jack Turing 18! )
Long ago in a fairy tale world, lived The Giants a privileged and rich group of monsters that didn’t care about treating other creatures worse, more specifically the Werewolves. The Giants would force them to do hard labour and would dump their trash on the Werewolves, until one day the Werewolves took a stand and declared War against the Giants. The battle went on and Both Sides were dying, but not all was dark, for the queen of giants and a human met and fell deeply in love, and with that came the birth of a half human half giant boy named “Jack” his mom died by the leader of the werewolves “Wolfrid” and Jack became the last known giant, his dad took him and decided to live in the Canadian city known as Thunder Bay. 18 years pass and Jack is about to graduate high school, things don’t go so well though as Wolfrid that is unable to hurt Jack because he is human, won’t stop at anything in till Jack is dead. Jack can’t accept his giant side, only wanting to be a human and ends up going on a fairy tale journey of self discovery and purpose.
The musical part of the film will also be a big part of it, see I go to an art school and me and my school were planning on having a live performed premiere of the movie. Basically meaning that whenever a song comes up the voice actors will sing over it while the movie plays!

Musician
Since this project is a musical, the pre production phase will need a couple of musicians to help with making demo versions for the songs in the project!
