“The Girl Who Wasn’t Supposed to End the Darkness”An irreverent modern fantasy narrative podcast
Hi there! My name is Alexie and I’m a professional screenwriter. My most notable experience has been in the narrative podcast space, where my work on the first season of Live from Mount Olympus was nominated for a Webby.
I’m finally looking to produce my own project and see where it goes!
This is a little fantasy idea I’ve been playing with. The story idea is, loosely, what if a Harry Potter-ish "Chosen One" died the horribly gruesome death he rightfully should've? What if his girlfriend, who everyone blamed, had to take over to save a world that would never appreciate her the same way they did her boyfriend?
There's cussing and a more adult tone, but it's SFW.
The plan right now is to produce an awesome pilot episode and see how it goes. I'm considering the possibility of animating clips from it, but that would really depend on finding the right team within my limited budget!

(Shivering, distraught. Saw Harvey die terribly and is now explaining it to a headmaster) I don’t know, alright?! Probably cause the prophecy was bullshit! You fucks put that on him, and not once did anybody stop to ask how he felt about it
